I want to start by saying they do great work. However over the years they have gotten incredibly greedy maybe it's the economy or just pure greed. I spent over 20k in the last 2.5 years and they had the audacity to send me a bill for $220 from 4-1-22 saying that the insurance didn't cover from the visit. Mind you, I pay my bill every time I leave that place. The worse part is that the bill was for pulp cap which cost them next to nothing. Safe to say I will never return. You just lost a customer that probably has another 7-8k of work to get done. For $200 that is 1.5 percent of what I had already paid. That to me isn't poor business practice. Very sad read more

I originally did not want to post anything because I understand that there are difference in opinions, scans, and other disparities that could result based on the business, hygienist/dentist, etc, however, after just now returning from my second cleaning at a different dentist since I stopped going to Dee for Dentist, it made me question the other cavities that I've had filled over the years. Last year, and for the second time @ this dentist office, I was informed that I had a significant number of cavities. After getting a couple filled, they were pressing me to schedule another appointment to fill the rest which requires prepayment. After declining multiple times I decided to get a second opinion on the remaining cavities and was informed that based on their professional opinion it appears that I had none. I had another cleaning this afternoon, and again had 0. Factoring in the possibility that the new dentist missed some cavities the first visit and/or felt differently about potential cavities that need "monitoring" I expected at least 1-2. Given the initial indication that I had multiple cavities that should be taken care of compared to the current estimate of 0, it's pretty unusual that such a variance would exist. read more

I went in for a free consultation on a loose tooth. I get into one of the rooms and they need to take several x rays for the consultation. But it's all covered under my insurance. What I thought was going to be a simple consultation turned out to be a lot more. They suggested pulling teeth, filling cavities, deep cleaning. It was a huge sum of money to have all the work done. Then they got on the subject of "sleep apnea" which they can help me with. I let them know that I sleep on my stomach and I don't snore. This practice seriously needs to get their billing and accounting system worked out because twice I've been hit with surprise bills from them because they either didn't bill my insurance correctly or misrepresented what I was going to pay out of pocket. I just now received a bill for $75 with no explenation other than "patient write off" - I haven't had an appointment here since February, and yet 6 months later I am getting billed for a random amount with no clear explenation? It's been about a year and a half since going to this dentist and finally decided to write a review. I'll start off with the positive, the dental hygienist is awesome, super thorough and friendly. The receptionists are also nice. The office is well kept and there is high tech equipment through out. This is where it ends.... If you like to feel like your going on a high pressure sales pitch for invisalign, teeth whitening and being told that you have way more issues than you really have then I recommend going here. Obviously this company gets some kick backs on invisalign, peridex, and their special anti-cavity tooth paste. I went and I got suckered into buying the anti-cavity toothpaste and the chlorhexidine rinse. When I asked if insurance covered it I was told no and don't worry I can get in right then and there because they sell it in office (how convenient). Fast forward to next week. My husband went in for a treatment and guess what spiel he received? That's right! He came home with alllll the goodies I received even after they knew he was my husband and I JUST received the same product the previous week (nice upsell). So now $60 each here we are. Luckily, he called and they allowed him to bring the products back with a full refund. However, this was the last straw because I was onto their tactics and knew they only cared about money and upselling any way possible. All trust was lost. We decided to move on and find another dentist. I called and let them know. For the past year I have been receiving calls weekly even after I told them to stop. I had to block their number on my phone! I'm still dodging the emails and snail mail though. Now here's the best part! I went to the dentist and this so called "oral rinse" that is not covered by insurance....it is! I just picked it up today....I paid $2.83 opposed to the 30-40ish they charged me in office! Hence, why I finally decided to write this review. I couldn't believe it. This company is here to swindle and con you into thinking you NEED products that are in office and not covered by insurance. They will harass you until no end through any means possible about coming in for your "next appoint" even when you yell them you have found another dentist. They WILL tell you that you need more work done than you need. They quoted me almost 2,500 after my insurance vs alllll my work completed and covered for only $600 out the door. This was my second visit. It was a long time in between. The staff is very nice. The hygienist very gentle with my cleaning. The technology abundant. I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and kind staff. However, I too experienced the upsell. Four years ago my teeth were fine but this year in need of alignment. The Dr. is very personable but it's been 18 hours and my face still hurts after 1 filling. I've never experienced that and hate to admit I have a lot of fillings. Overall, it's a nice office and staff are great. I do think the upsell is present and the actual work average. Since Covid, they've taken extra precautions by taking your temperature and pulse oximetry. The decor is bright and vibrant so you're already put in ease the moment you walk in. There's water and even a charging area for you devices while you wait. Seating is limited and spaced out so people can safely social distance. And there's Netflix on to keep you distracted from your session. I was really hoping that I'd be getting a break from virtual learning with my dental visit. My hygienist, Nicole was very gentle, thorough and quick. All things to hope for at the dentist! I was in and out in under 45mins and hope by the next class. She was also very personable. When thats all done, she sends Dr. Dee in to check up on you. Dr. Dee is pretty awesome! She's compassionate and really takes time to know you as a patient. She takes the time to explain her process and steps to best care for your individual needs. It also speaks volumes that the staff really do enjoy working there. They also have team building events and fun office challenges. Dr Dee & staff was amazing she did my filling today with their latest technologies that they have equipped my filling was done within 20 minutes and no anesthetic which cut half the normal time which would have been 30 min the old way. They have state of the art equipments that gets you done in 1 day no second appointments if not needed and go home all taken care of. I will never go to another dentist as long as I'm in/around Vegas. I recently got invisalign from Dee for Dentist and the experience was so quick and simple! Tiffany (the invisalign expert) is thorough in explaining the process and makes sure your comfortable before proceeding with the treatment! It took less than 3 weeks for my trays to come in, both Tiffany and Michelle did an amazing job at setting me and my mouth up with everything before sending me home! Dr. Dee and her team are always so incredible! I had been going to Dee for Dentist for several years in the past, had to skip out for a bit due to insurance reasons, but now I'm back and happier than ever!!! I came in because I had searing pain in an old filling. They promised they would replace the filling and also replaced a few other fillings that were not causing me current problems at all. After the procedure I continued to have the pain and also developed temperature sensitivity in the new work, which I never had before. I now have to chew on one side of my mouth only and have to drink with straws. When I came in to discuss the issue it turns out they did NOT do anything to the tooth that was causing me the pain. They did NOT replace the filling but charged me and my insurance for the other work, which I didn't really need. Their own notes, which they showed me, show they were going to do a filling which they did not do. I have been in worse pain the two months since the procedure where they failed to do the work. The one thing I needed done was not done and I now have pain problems I never had before from the new work. I am upgrading to giving 3 stars instead of 1 because they at least had the decency to refund me for the billing. No communication at all about the failure to do the work. NEVER AGAIN! I haven't been back since, Dee diagnose my cavities. I was sold a $50 mouth wash and I wasn't told it would turn my teeth brown. Funny how every I've sent there was suckered into purchasing the very same thing. I paid to have Dee repair my cavities, well so I thought. I spent a lot of money for dental work to be done. My fillings I had Dee do fell out. I went to my parents dentist to have a second opinion and repair. I had to have the remaining parts of what was left of my 4 fillings Dee had done removed. The new dentist found 4 fillings had decay under all of them and it was not removed prior to Dee filling them. Needless to say, I'm extremely upset, I paid for a service not only through my insurance but out of pocket. I can't imagine what we're going to find wrong with my children's treatment that was done by Dee. Rather than being naive since this has happened, I've recently become a dental assistant so, this will never happen to me or my children again. read more

***PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW FOR A VERY SHODDY DENTIST*** Three years ago my husband needed an implant crown. He had the implant procedure completed by a very good local implant specialist. When ready for the crown, we had been referred to Dee for Dentist. My husband had a full new patient exam and teeth cleaning. We have exceptional dental insurance and are very grateful for it. Insurance pays 80% of usual and customary fees. Husband went in to Dee for Dentist for the crown appointment. Part way through the procedure, the office manager came in and said they needed full payment to seat the crown. He called me, was confused because he knew our insurance coverage. As the procedure was already started, we gave a card for the full price. Our insurance did pay the majority of the bill, even though their costs are way above the usual and customary for this area. After getting our explanation of benefits, I contacted the office as they had been paid twice. It took almost a year to get any money refunded. Dr. Meevasin does cerec crowns, which was a reason we chose her for his implant crown. However there is a very precise skill level to create cerec crowns properly and without the skill these crowns can be very problematic. The crown came off after eight months. We realized at that time there was a problem with the crown, but he went back and they reattached it. ALSO, they CHARGED him for that appointment. We have not returned to that clinic and have found good dental care elsewhere. A few weeks ago that crown actually BROKE. Cerec crowns are created to last 15 - 30 years. Only a very poorly created cerec crown would actually break like this one did. I contacted Dr. Meevasin's office and ask about their policy regarding warranty for crowns. I spoke to Jena, who said there is no warranty for their dental work. I explained what happened and she made it very clear that they don't care. She pulled up my husband's chart, and said they had recommended a mouth guard...no dentist has ever said husband needs a guard, when I questioned that, Jena said they automatically put that note in charts of any patients that get crowns. The dentist did not tell my husband that he needed a mouth/night guard, and he has no history of needing one. Our insurance will only cover the cost of another crown after FIVE years, they confirm that a crown should last at least that long. A replacement crown will not be covered. Since the abutment for the implant is so inferior it will all have to be redone. This will be a cost of $2,600.00 "out of pocket". *****IF YOU DON'T MIND PAYING EXCESSIVE COSTS FOR VERY SHODDY DENTISTRY, DEE FOR DENTIST IS FOR YOU. Just got my teeth cleaned by Kristin, who is always so polite and pleasant and professional and thorough. She does a really great job, and I always feel better after my cleanings with Kristin. The whole office and business really have its act together. The colors both inside and out are bright and cheerful and fun, which is always the feeling I get when I'm inside their business. This fun atmosphere is even evident in the eye-protection they offer you. As you walk back to the procedural area you see a shelf filled with tons of totally different sunglasses, some kind of straight-up Ray-Ban-types and others whacky Disney Mouse-type and everything in between. Take your pick. This is a good example of how they've gone out of their way to turn a chore into something fun. I actually look forward to my dentist appointments! Another example of the fun & relaxed environment they provide for us is all the hi-rez TVs pretty much in every room, where there is always an interesting movie playing. So that you can watch it while they're doing their business in your mouth the subtitles are always on. Their business flow is really slick, too. I always get both text / SMS and email reminders of my appointments as the date gets closer. Altogether, Dee for Dentist is the most fun you can have at the dentist. Thanks guys! I use to HATE going to the dentist because of two very bad experiences! But Dee for Dentist got me feeling comfortable being there. I explained to them that I was horrified with my past experience and they assured me that they only focus on you when your in the chair. They don't go around and work on other patients and leave your mouth open for hours. Dr. Dee and her team take time to know with what's going on with you. They let you know what procedures they will be doing in exceptional detail... Always making sure if your feeling ok when working on you... I didn't feel no pain at all when I got a tooth extracted...
