Thomas answered the phone immediately, I told him my problem and he said he'd come over that same evening after he finished his 2 other jobs. He got to my house about 6 PM. In the dark and pouring rain, he worked outside from the septic tank to the house. He was very professional and got the job done. These guys did a great job helping me pinpoint the issue, and went even further to scope out the drains with a sewer machine and camera. They found that the previous owner had flushed approx 1 cubic foot of plastic waste into the sewage pipes, and spent quite a bit of time snaking it out. We scheduled a day to do work and picked an early morning time "so I would be first one and not have to wait. Waited 8/1/14 for several hours after 830 when he was supposed to arrive. No answer on phone. Several messages were left and no answer and no call back. The next Monday I went to speak with him at his place in tonawanda and he was there. Told me "I was busy. I couldn't even call you back. Things come up." I told him I missed a day of work because I was waiting for him and a phone call only takes a minute. Replied "oh well. When I'm Busy I don't have time for that." Obviously didn't have him reschedule due to horrible customer service. I can't comment on work but if it's similar to his service better go somewhere else. But, probably many plumbing companies could fit that description. That is where Louis excels. HE GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND what could be expected. He and his partner were at our house for 12 hours working until close to 9pm. They finished the following day and left everything clean and in great condition. The job required opening a wall to get to the pipe. They replaced the drywall, which was a huge bonus, other plumbers were not willing to do. Lou also replaced our water line to the fridge and installed it properly at no extra charge. He saw the wonky job someone had previous done and took it upon himself to fix it for us. Simon Plumbing was a breeze to work with, fairly priced and reliable. Also, both guys were super kind to our dog so you know they are good people. Highly highly recommend.

Had a sewer line failure in 2023. I wanted to compare quotes but Kevin's said they couldn't come…read moreback for 2 months in that case. No working sewer so I needed it fixed. Kevin's dug it up and 'repaired' it for a lot of money. Now 2 years later it needs to be dug up again. Saw picture of pipe now. They installed the trap backwards and part they 'fixed' is disconnected from the house causing backup again. Called and they didn't call back. Found another company, T-Mark, who will warrant work for 10 years, will pull permits, and have work inspected by town at 2/3 the 'Kevin's' price which included none of that. I'm a fool parted with his money for using Kevin's. 11/18/25 - contacted Kevin's per his response. He says he does warranty his work and is coming out to inspect the issue. If his work is the cause, he says he'll fix it at no charge. He noted they're doing some office reorganizing and apologized for earlier call to them being dropped. 12/1/2025 - updating review to 5 stars. Kevin came out, inspected the area, pointed out on camera how the problem was in a different area than the one he had worked on (I could see on the camera he was correct), but he still agreed to resolve issue at his cost which was about half of the T-Mark quote. They just wrapped up the work and inspection. His warranty on the quote states: "Kevin's Plumbing provides a 10 year warranty on the pipe that we install. The warranty is transferable through the change of ownership of a home and only the remaining portion of the warranty period transfers-the warranty period does not reset in any way upon transfer, and the warranty period begins at the date of work completion and only when paid in full. This warranty may be transferred to future homeowners provided Kevin's Plumbing is notified within 30days of the real estate transfer. There are no other warranties, either expressed or implied, beyond this agreement."
