I wanted to love this place. It's beautiful but quality is severely lacking. I made an appointment days in advance and waited almost 30 minutes past the time of my appointment. When I finally I got to a chair, the water was barely lukewarm. They left me sitting in that cold water for quite some time before an older gentlemen showed up at which time I asked him to make the water warmer. He added a bit of hot water. It was tolerable but still not enjoyable. I didn't want to be bothersome so I just left it alone. During the pedicure itself the man put very little effort into any of the steps. While massaging my legs with exfoliant, he rubbed the same little strip of my leg over and over and over again which is not only ineffective but also quite uncomfortable. The polish job was decent but after less than two weeks the polish has completely chipped off my right toes and underneath my nails are flaking off! Idk if this is some sort of fungal infection or what but my nails have literally never looked like this and I'm pretty concerned. I don't think I'll be back unless I'm guaranteed not to have the same nail technician.. read more

Great service & nice environment. Love the bar option- perfect for a girls night out! However, I just got my nails done for a special event & the top coat they used turned the polish an orangish color by the time I got home! You can kind of see in the photos. Also, despite sitting there for a half hour they smudged/chipped right away. I feel like they would've turned out better done at home for free. read more

Had walk-in pedicure. Not impressed. Not worth the $33. Soak was very short. No cuticle work. Leg and foot massage half-hearted. Two coats vs three of polish. The worst part? I don't usually do this but I feel people need to be aware. I came in on a whim as my usual nail lady is on vacation. Just needed a gel mani. First off, my technician (I believe her name was Kim) made me super uncomfortable by repeatedly asking me why I'd rather get gel than dip. She then proceeded to scrap my original gel polish off with a cuticle clipper! I was never offered a beverage and everyone else seemed to have one. The facility was not clean at all - surprising because this place has potential! Anyways, the outcome of my mani was fine. Until today, 2 days later....2 of my nails are INFECTED! The photo below doesn't even do it justice. They hurt and there's pus. So angry!! The ONLY reason I am giving this a 2 stars is because I called and spoke with a manager (Rachel) and she immensely apologized and refunded in full. Disclaimer: I received my pedicure for free as part of their opening day promotion on 4/8 (I waited in line at The Corners grand opening). At the time of the service, the nail tech was under the impression that the service would be half price, but I had a voucher making it free. My pedicure started out fine. The pedicurist (I think I remember her name, but I'm not going to say it just in case I'm wrong) seemed friendly enough. She lectured me a bit about needing to get a pedicure every two weeks, and told me that she had been doing nails for 20 years. Unfortunately, that experience wasn't reflected in her work on me. As you can see from the pictures, she cut the nails on my big toe down to the quick. She also rounded them deeply on the sides, which I have never had happen in my own 20 years of getting pedicures. She made a cutting gesture at the beginning of the service and asked me if I wanted it, but I said yes thinking that she was just going to trim them a little (I had cut them not too long before). There was nothing wrong with my nails that would require this. This has left my feet feeling uncomfortable in my shoes and I now have to worry about ingrown toenails. Also, at one point as she was using the nipper on my cuticles, she wiped the residue on the top of my foot and looked up at me. I can assume that she was awaiting a reaction, but I didn't give her one. The rest she wiped on the towel my feet were resting on. I can also assume that the service is usually longer/more detailed, as one of the owners of the salon, who was doing my friend's manicure right across from us, expressed surprise that I was done as quickly as I was. I tipped her because I believe is doing so for service people, not because I thought she did a good job. I probably shouldn't have bothered, but I didn't want to be one of "those people". All that being said, the décor was very nice, reminiscent of the Cheesecake Factory. The waiting area is also nice, with a bar area with additional seating. I was told they are working on getting a liquor license. They also have a wide variety of nail colors. There is a small sign that requests tips in cash only, but I don't know if that is a hard and fast rule. I usually don't leave reviews for establishments, but I didn't want to badmouth the place to others without leaving one. I won't be returning and I can't recommend it. read more

Ah I hate doing one star reviews but I had one of the worst nail jobs I've ever had. I'm new to Milwaukee area and someone recommended this place for a fill and I do not recommend or just do not recommend going to Cindy. She was such a sweet lady and the salon was very nice so I have a hard time doing this but I don't want y'all to waste your money. I had an appointment with Cindy and she rushed through my nails, they are extremely uneven and she did not cut down my pointer fingers that I asked her to do. She did not fill my acrylics all the way down so it looks like I'm due for a fill again and it's only been a day. She painted my gel nails very sloppy and get a lot of the polish on my skin around the nail. I also wanted gems on my nails and they were not showing up since I had black polish so she took silver sparkles polish and started drawing dots. This would have been fine but the dots are uneven and some of them are smeared. I really do not like them and I'm on my way to another salon to get a color change which is annoying since I spent $50 on an awful fill. Also, I would post a picture of them but I tried to fix them with my own gems and glue and did not do a very good job but i am no professional. read more

Best nail salon experience I've had. I've been looking for a consistent nail salon and I've finally found one. I was able to get a walk in for a pedicure but a reservation is definitely recommended for longer services or busier days. My ~50 min pedicure ended up being more like 80 minutes and included a glass of wine which they have about 12 options for but can be purchased separately for around $7/8. They were very clean and followed proper procedures such as opening a new sterile nail clipper and cuticle cutter. The leg/ foot massage felt amazing. He also glued a crack in my big toe which usually just gets painted over. The decor is also amazing and really added to the pampering experience. Definitely recommend coming here. read more

I came here for a pedicure for a freinds wedding last year in June and was completely satisfied with how it turned out. The man spent alot of time trimming my cuticles and making sure my nails looked perfect before applying polish. I made another appointment there and couldn't remember that man's name but mentioned he did a great cuticle/ trimming job and they booked my appointment with travis. I have been going there ever since and he always does such an excellent job! He spends the time to make sure the nails look great and they always feel wonderful when I leave. Our reservation was messed up. My daughter and I are still dealing with ingrown toe nails months later. She ended up with an infected great toe. They came to her pedi with a tray with already opened nail care items (I didn't see that part)I was sad to find out that this was retail chain nail place, on our way to our appointment, which was the afternoon before my nieces wedding. (I tried to find another place) I won't go back. And just an FYI... I'm not a negative person, and I'm a big tipper and I always give people in the service industry lots of leeway, because people are mean. But I couldn't believe this place. Good luck read more

Let me start by saying I have been getting dip manicure for the last year. NEVER have I been to a place that makes the customer remove their own dip he actually looked at my nails and said they are still shiny keep going! Excuse me aren't you supposed to remove the dip. Also there was no basic manicure service no cuticle oil, no lotion, no removal of hang nails, I was nicked with the machine multiple times. I also JUST left the salon and one of my nails has a dull spot not glossy at all. I will not be back this customer service is seriously lacking. When you leave a customer in acetone for at least 15 you should probably do a hand massage with lotion like most salons do at the end of service so their hands look nice. read more

I was extremely disappointed with my service today. I was impressed by how fast they were able to seat me then thereafter I was repeatedly disrespected as well as provided with beginner level service. My nail technician walked out during the middle of our session a total of four times and proceeded to walk over to other workers around her and point at me and was giggling. Other clients at the nail spa even commented to me after saying how their techs would speak with her during our session and all would turn around and stare at me. Thereafter while using the file and the buff bar she cut me multiple times and continued when I verbally said I was in pain. At the end of the session she told me my cuticles were very bad. I paid with a 25% tip in addition to the gel nails and she demanded I pay directly at that minute at her nail station which normally wouldn't phase me but she implied that I seemed like I couldn't pay. Lastly she ran up to the cash register with the $68.00 (an extremely overpriced set of gel acrylic nails) and was waving the money around and giggling and slapping her coworkers with it. I felt uncomfortable and honestly quite self conscious leaving the salon. The only thing I like about my nails currently is the color. I don't recommend giving this salon your business. read more

I've been here twice, and both times it was just alright. Nothing special. The environment is clean and the decor is ornate, and they take walk-ins, but as others have noted they speed through the service. Seesaw filing and more inclined to clip every bit of cuticle, rather than soften and push them back. The end result of all that clipping is more hangnails after a week or so, plus the seesaw filing encourages my nails to split. (I usually just patch splits with nail glue, but that's a bummer when it could have been prevented.) If I am in desperate need of super fast nail services while I'm in the area, I'd probably go back, but I wouldn't make a special trip to go to this salon. UPDATE I appreciate the salon's response and offer to fix a bad mani, as far as it goes. A better approach would be to prevent the damage in the first place, by training Tech's to recognize nails that may have a tendency to split (and not insist on soaking them in water for several minutes). More importantly, the salon also needs to make sure techs listen to and understand clients. I told the tech about my concerns but he either didn't understand me or he felt he knew better. read more

I have been here a few times. I loved the dip manicure that I got last month. It looked great! So I was looking forward to getting another one. I went in today with a friend and it was awful. My fingers are actually sore as I type this. My nail tech (I didn't catch his name) took off my existing dip and asked if I wanted to cut down my nails (I have long nails). I indicated that I wanted just a little bit of length off and have the shape cleaned up. I asked for an almond shape (which my previous manicure was... and my nails were pretty much still in that shape). He cut them down significantly and into a round shape. He asked me if that was what I was looking for and I reiterated that I wanted an almond shape. So he continues filing (taking off more length) and asks me if its okay.... still round. I tried to explain almond, and finally another tech came over and showed him how to do it. He attempted. Pretty unsuccessfully. I just accepted that I wasn't going to have the nail shape that I asked for. So... they're short and oval... whatever. They were already gone.. nothing I could do about it. Then he starts drilling my nails. Holy crap did he go drill happy. He drilled the crap out of my nails. My nails were burning. My beautiful strong nails were drilled paper thin. He drilled my cuticles until they bled. My nail beds and fingers are red and swollen. They hurt. My nails don't look great... but they don't look awful (They feel awful though). 100% not worth the $45. "pain is beauty" should not apply to manicures. read more

Area for growth I made an appointment for 11:45am and didn't get serviced until about 12:10pm and I had to ask someone in the establishment where my nail technician was because nobody came to check on me to see if I needed anything while I was waiting. In addition, no one informed me that I would be waiting the amount of time that I was. In the future over communicate with your clients. Went here to get a dip manicure for my birthday, it was a terrible experience. First we made appointments and the people who did our nails rushed us through even though there was no one else waiting. They didn't even cut my cuticles or massage my hands with lotion, I thought that was pretty standard. 2 days later, one of my nails chipped and all of the tips started fading and turning white. I went back to have them fixed and when I told them the tips were fading, I was told this happens when your nails grow out. They fixed the one chipped nail while the rest looked terrible. I would never go back here again, poor customer service and a rushed job. read more

Went for my nails for wedding and honeymoon a week ago and the appointment took 2.5 hrs for manicure and pedicure. Pedicure ended with nail tech applying base coat as top coat so she then began filing down the polish due to being "dull." My toes were left all bumpy with different levels of polish on each toe. Then I got dip with tips and each nail had indents and lines within them. Due to the time it took on toes, tech did not even take down cuticle, no lotions or hand massage. Not a good experience and spent over $100 for nails that looks so messy and uneven. read more

Anthony Vince Nails Spa is your average ubiquitous nail place with a nicer atmosphere and longer hours. Those longer hours cost me $20 more and blood cuts on two cuticles. It aggravates me when the technician draws blood. It hurts for a week and leaves an unattractive scab. Furthermore other annoyances: the other customers were offered water. I had to ask. But the staff was very responsive. Though I brought my own flip flops, the technician insisted on using the foam ones. Thus, I had to shuffle to the sinks waaay back in the back of the salon. I like the nicer environment with relaxing music and station drying fans that actually work. And parking was a breeze, even with the location at the Corners. Also no overwhelming chemical smell - a nine starter for me. But, for the same price I can go someplace where they don't insist on cutting cuticles in the first place and I can wear my own flip flops. And the staff does not leave their snacks out on counters and chat with each other about their phone messages. Or question my "neutral" nail color. I can go someplace with all of these "charms" for twenty dollars less. Anyway, that's what I get for sleeping in. I am now motivated to get over to salon around the corner first thing Saturday or Sunday morning for my cheap mani/pedi and I and still in search for a upscale relaxing nail salon experience with evening hours. read more

The inside is absolutely gorgeous! It had a royalty vibe with the reds, golds, and browns. This made me think that it would be a great place to get my nails done. I really thought they would do a good job. I was WAY wrong! I went in for a full set of acrylic nails and a pedi. Pedi - The towels they use to wrap your legs in were steaming hot. When they took them off, my legs were blotchy and very red. During the leg massage, they were pushing down so hard that it felt like they were bruising me. The paint job was fine, but the overall experience was not satisfying. They didn't even exfoliate the bottom of your feet. My feet were still dry and rough which never happens to me after a pedi. Mani - I went with my friend who just got gel; acrylic nails take longer. I was done first. The job was done way too fast and the paint job was awful. My nails aren't fully covered with polish, the oval tip was so jagged & uneven, my nails aren't the same length, some of the tips were put on slanted, and the acrylic didn't even cover my whole natural nail. Later that day, my friend said her gel nails were already chipping! One week later, my acrylic nails were already peeling off! They also made my friend bleed. They used some bottle to help stop the bleeding and THEY TOUCHED THE TIP OF THE BOTTLE TO HER BLOOD! Who knows how many times they have done that and how contaminated that bottle is by now!! Completely unsanitary! Overall, I would never recommend this place to anyone. They do a rush job, they aren't careful, you will not be satisfied with how your nails turn out, and they are so uncomfortably unsanitary! For the amount I paid, it was definitely not worth it!
