Ordered pickup for our 'free' birthday pizza and was looking forward to a good pie. Wow, were we disappointed! After ruturning home, and looking at this charcoal pizza, I wanted to return to Anthony's, but it was too inconvenient. The pizza was burnt, really burnt. Honestly, I don't know how the pizza maker even served this disaster to a customer? The funniest part of this experience (if it can be considered funny) is the second picture, "made with care, served with pride." We also ordered overpriced Eggplant Marino. It's been years since I visited this location tho we've had some disappointing Uber eats deliveries during the Pandemic. Lots of vegan options. I absolutely recommend you make the trip to experience this place in person. The salad is fantastic and a great place to start. I can eat the entire large salad myself- Order a side of hot peppers and a vegan pizza if you like. So amazing I tried to eat it slowly just to make it last. Dina gets their tuna sandwich and you might not think this is a place for tuna but think again! The frontline manager when I last went here (Summer '21) behaved like an immature child after we received the wrong toppings on our pizzas, refusing to address it whatsoever. I wrote corporate and told them I would never be visiting their restaurant again due to this brat's temper tantrum. This was in 2021, so hopefully they changed that manager out. Pizza is 3-4/5 on average, but it depends on the team making it and if they kept the ingredients well. The service is usually 4/5. But the fact that a business can hire someone as incompetent as this individual we dealt with and promote them to a managing position? Haha, there's a lot of pizza places out there. Absolutely love Anthony's!!! I always leave Anthony's feeling beyond satisfied. My favorite pizza is a specialty pie, the "fresh mozzarella, sliced tomato, and basil". It is absolutely delicious! I constantly find myself craving it. Also, I never limit myself to just pizza -- the wings here are some of the best wings, if not perhaps the best wings, I've ever had! I consider myself a chicken wings aficionado ;). These wings are big, juicy, and incredibly tasty. They are served with caramelizad onions and focaccia; so good. Service has always been friendly, professional, and attentive. Anthony's is a great place to watch football. I love the decor and ambiance. We've been going to this location for years Lately This is our NEW go to for Pizza. My family loves this place, pizza is made fresh to order with quality ingredients. Our fave is the Paulie's Pie (subbing the Ricotta for extra Mozzarella). This combination of the sweet & hot peppers w/ the meatballs, sausages etc is a must have. (Getting hungry just talking about it!). We've also had the Margarita, which is also delicious & if you feel like you want a tad bit of greasy goodness, go for the Pepperoni!!!! Outrageously great service from Ivan and the rest of the staff at This Anthony's location! The chicken wings were super tasty and we also ordered a "crust less" meatball pizza. We have always ordered this with a former employee and today Ivan accommodated all our crazy requests. From the giant booth for two people so we could be safely seated apart to the dollop of ricotta cheese with our meatballs. Ordered 3 pizzas for a birthday. Absolutely loved how thin and tasty the pizzas were. My only complaint is that when delivering, driver left the pizzas at the lobby as he called and said he couldn't go up, (I live in a building). The Caprese pizza is delicious, the Square Margherita is good, wish it had more basil and the other one I ordered was the build your own with Prosciutto and Bacon, bacon could of been cut into smaller pieces. The new chopped salad is tasty however our was missing olives. Got the broccoli rabe and sausage- very dry and lacking flavor, I had to add my own olive oil. I saw online Anthony's had gluten free pizza, whole reason we went. It's not on the menu but the waiter said yes they have it. Got two GF pizzas. I thought I died.... The "last meal on Earth" part of my profile mentions mom's lasagna as one of the last tastes I want to have. I haven't found that perfect smokey mix of ricota cheese and italian seasonings in many restaurants. Until last night when I went with Lizette Q for dinner.. We showed up about an hour before closing time. Even so, our waitress Elizabeth was very bubbly and energetic in taking our order and checking on us during the meal. Kudos for the great service! Back to my generously portioned meal. Our large pizza - enough for leftovers for lunch today - was chockful of meat, ricotta balls, sweet peppers and sauce baked in. That it's thin crust gets bonus points from me. Then there's dessert - creamy NY style cheesecake with cinnamon sprinkled over the top. It made for a great shared bite with my date. Maybe this is being picky, but after all I'm the Dessert Snob: they should offer fruit toppings for the cheesecake. I have been able to eat at this Anthony's for pretty every scenario including at the bar, at a table and for takeout and every experience has been good just a little different. For take out orders they have a convenient counter at the back so you can go straight there and be helped right away. I have order both on the computer and on the phone and my order has always been correct. If you need to have a quick bite to eat and are alone or with one other the bar is the place to go. When I sat down and saw that the restaurant was completely full I did not expect that pizza to come out for a while but it was actually the quickest time I have ever been served. Must have been a record! The sit down tables are definitely there to take your time and enjoy your company. I have never had a issue with a waiter. They have always been kind. Sometimes they may take a little while to get to you if it's a crazy day which during a weekday happens every lunchtime. And now for the important part the food! I used to always get the meatball pizza because their meatballs are delicious and they do not skimp on the toppings would definitely recommend it. But once I had the simple pepperoni and cheese it was like a childhood favorite had come back to me and now I find it hard to have anything else. You have to keep in mind that it's a coal oven so the "burnt" edges may happen so maybe mention to them how crispy you like it. read more

I do NOT recommend this place. Not because the food is not good but because of the lack of consideration towards the customer. I ordered a pizza with a 45 minute wait. 45 minutes later I get a notice the order was canceled by the pizzeria. What bothers me is why make the customer wait the entire length of the delivery to then cancel the order? Furthermore, this establishment insisted on canceling the order and made no attempt to redelivering the product. The only compensation was refunding my money. The money is great but how do you get back the time you spent waiting on something that was never going to come. This is the place that made me love coal fired pizza and one of the my favorite places to dine in when you want something casual and relax. We recently went for a late dinner this past Saturday with two friends and as usual left super satisfied. The pizzeria is located in US-1 and off 104 street, with plenty of free parking in the front. The actual restaurant is moderate sized with a little full bar on the side and television all around the corners. So we decided to order the usual for us which is the coal fired chicken wings and one large pizza with kalamata olives and prosciutto ham. As requested the first items to be send out from the coal fire oven was the chicken wings, which are lightly seasoned with a two slices of crispy bread. What make these chicken wings unique is that they are coal fired and makes it juicer but not greasy. Then finally the pizza, which was amazing. The crust was crunchy, but not burned and the combination of the olives and prosciutto gave it a savory taste. They placed a good amount of cheese, which in some other pizzeria they put too much. I know there are other locations but for me this is my favorite and the most homiest. The Eggplant Marino is a cheese-less pizza that caught me by surprise the first time I tried it. I know, I know... Like pineapple, eggplant is a pretty controversial pizza topping. You'd be doing yourself a disservice, though if you didn't at least try it! The eggplant tastes less like a vegetable, and more like a doughy, thinly sliced pillow straight out of heaven. As a chef in the industry I get it most restaurant are short staffed but that's no excuse for timing. I order online a specialty pizza meatballs and eggplant Marino. When I got there everything was ready but the meatballs and was told it would take about 15 minutes until they were ready. Again this post is about timing so knowing the meatball were nowhere near ready why should you make the rest of the food. So I let them know I wanted all new food which I didn't see as a problem I would do that if a guest wasn't happy. They did make me a new pizza but gave me a cold eggplant Marino and meatballs. The picture is of the meatballs and it's at 117 degrees and had a burnt taste. I know exactly what they did they took out my order from the what they were reheating and put them in a sauce pan to heat up quickly which again something I would have done but I wouldn't have burnt them in the process. They don't looked burnt in the picture but the burnt taste is there from the reheat. This is the second time this location fucked up my order. I guess that's what you get when you have inexperienced managers or ones that don't care about quality of food. It's going to be a while before I eat at any location. Sad that we live so close by and have to entertain cold pizza for dinner! Poor service for an expensive pizza. Poor customer service as well. Best of luck. I'm a frequent customer at the other Anthony's restaurants but this was something else. Since entering the restaurant the ambience was already different. The hostess seemed to have no care in the world for what was happening and neither did our server. She would disappear frequently throughout the meal and didn't even offer a refill once! Now, onto the food - we ordered chicken wings as an appetizer and 2 salads, meatballs, and a pizza for our meal. Well, the salads came in first so half of us were eating while the others were still waiting for their food, and the bread that was given wasn't even bread, it was more like a burnt, cold, cracker. Which we told them about, still waiting for the rest of the food, and they laughed it off. Because of that we asked for the manager and told her the situation. Then, finally, after the salads were almost entirely consumed, the meatballs and wings finally came, the wings were cold. As a result we asked them to please replace them. After most had eaten their food, the pizza for my son came and then the bread. Later, after most of us were done eating, our appetizer finally arrived, pretty much a dessert. And even worse when we asked for a box for our "dessert wings" she turned around and started laughing which she then said was a laugh at her own servers, which were never around, and then said she wasn't laughing, "ok?". 1-star out of sheer nostalgia for when this place was good. They seem to always be behind and the quality control is completely non-existent. Asked for Parmesan cheese and crushed pepper and received none. My pizza was practically tomato soup from the amount of sauce on it.
