Excellent pizza spot in a hidden shopping center near dadeland. We got the hot honey pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. More than enough food for two people. I'm a big pepperoni lover and wished there was more on the pie but for the normal person it's a solid ratio. The crust was nice and fluffy with the hot honey being a nice topping. My only complaint was that some parts of the pie were overcooked. The shop is in a small shopping center and has outside seating. Plenty of parking available when coming. When we first walked in they had the hostess sit us quickly and we were able to order fast. Overall, this is a great spot to get Detroit style people and we will be coming back here again. read more

I was craving my usual favorite Detroit style pizza from vice city but they weren't taking deliveries so I decided to check out Mamma Dora's since everyone has been raving about it. Ordered via Uber eats so I will not blame them for my food arriving cold. After a 5 minute heat up, it was good as new. I ordered the mamma Dora's white pizza and their garlic rolls. The dough seems to be a bit on the sweeter side so I definitely don't recommend if you're not a big fan of that. I personally liked it but my family did not. This review is based on delivery (Uber Eats) only, as I have not yet visited their location. The pizza here is fantastic! Crispy, thick sourdough crust with plenty of cheese and sauce, and perfectly cooked! I have tried the veggie pizza ( mushrooms, onions, and peppers) and the funcle pizza (cheese, sauce and mushrooms). The crust is thick and crispy but perfect, and the pizza has a great combination of sweet sauce with salty cheese and toppings. What can be said that hasn't been said except you need to come to Mamma Dora's Pizzeria if you haven't cause if you have not had there amazing food you are missing out on the the pizza in Miami that's right I said it the best best pizza in Miami. Now don't let there small appearance fool you this place is as legit as it comes. My only suggestion is get there early or order head cause they sell out that's how amazing it is. There service is hands down the best I have experience in a long time from the front staff to the cook all the way down to the owner his enthusiasm is a pure reflection of his staff, you are great with smiles from start to end. Now for the best part the food OMG the crispy crust to the soft fluffy inside is to die for, you can taste all the ingredients from start to finish and the sauce WOW you want to talk about home made there is nothing on this menu that taste frozen or processed about it, the attention to detail is a work of art and everyone shows pride in what they do. It felt a little too greasy and I wasn't a fan on the burnt edges.The garlic rolls were not good, they look great on the pictures at the restaurant but if you order out, they're cold and slathered in way too much garlic butter. We have picked up twice from here and it has been amazing! We ordered for a group and got almost all the pizzas and the two best were the white pizza and hot honey pepperoni. The staff was very nice when ordering and helpful. I highly recommend to get the most delicious chocolate chip cookie! Possibly the best in miami! We asked them to cut it I 16 pieces rather than 8 and we were able to share 1 pizza with 3 people and a 4th probably could have eaten as well. read more

I remember coming to this location when it used to be another Italian restaurant. We saw that there was a new pizzeria in town and we decided to take a look. Detroit style pizza is one of my favorites and I had to try it. I love close by so I can walk here, stuff my face and walk back and I can use I did some cardio as an excuse. Many excellent things about this place. Anlys took excellent care of us. She was very patient, explained the menu and how the food is made as well as spoke so highly of her grandfather who is the main chef of this establishment. The pizza is made in front of you and they pile on the toppings. The garlic rolls were a different style and they were good. The roni pizza with hot honey was fresh, tasty and huge. This is a bug upgrade to what was here before and the local pizzerias. We enjoyed the layback vibe, excellent customer service and proximity. We will be back for sure. read more
