    Cheese pizza slice

Went in just wanting to try a slice but they only had cheese slices. Then you can add stuff to them if you want. No slices of their famous square pizza so that was disappointing. Tried the basic cheese and it was good but not what I went for.

My fiance and I grabbed a pie during their happy hour which has excellent pricing. $10 for a gourmet pizza that was pretty solid. The guy at the cash register was average, he wasn't mean or anything but never really explained the menu to us or even told us about the happy hour menu. We just happened to notice from a sign they had posted outside. When we grabbed our pizza it was around 5pm on a rainy day so the restaurant was empty. Can't really judge the vibe based on the circumstances. Overall, i don't know why so many people give the place 1 star. I thought the pizza was delicious for ten bucks. I docked it down a star because if it wasn't for the happy hour special, the pizzas would be a little pricey but they are well made. If I am in the area after shopping I would gladly go back.

We Ordered take out for our first experience here. Friendly staff but the kitchen didn't follow the directions throughly with some of our modifications. We got sold on the current collaboration with Apocalypse BBQ. The description didn't match what we envisioned- our pizza lacked the jalapeño. The meatballs were good. Glad we got the curiosity of trying this spot.

Such a cute small place but definitely packs a punch. The food was absolutely amazing and definitely worth your money! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, went above and beyond for us. The flavor was amazing and definitely didn't disappoint! I'll be back for sure!

Yum! So happy that there is now an Eleventh Street Pizza on the mainland side of the bridge! It's pretty pricey, but we love a good pie, and this was a good pie! Will definitely be back. Service was great, it is a small place with seating inside and outside but the staff took great care of us and brought the food to the tables outside when it was ready. We are definitely pizza people, next time we will try something more classic like a plain cheese but this hot honey pepperoni was an explosion of flavor, same for the garlic bread. All in all, we will 100% be back!

We were in the area and decided try this spot since it was so close. The owner is very pleasant. We had the lunch special with rolls. The food was tasty and ready rather quickly. She also put some fresh parmesan cheese on the slices. It's a quaint and small place to enjoy some pizza and relax.

I ordered a couple Pepperoni slices to go. The pizza was good not overly greasy but not crunchy either. The wait was approximately 7 minutes as I sat and waited I noticed the tables were not clean because I got tomato sauce on my arm. I would return to the restaurant again.

I'm not sure why the reviews are the way the are. This place is phenomenal! It's so cute and clean. Also, I love that it is dog friendly. The service is always on point and everyone is super friendly! Now let's talk food! Everything and I mean everything, is amazing! Nothing on this menu will disappoint. I love that most of the pizzas come with the option of regular slice or Sicilian. Their garlic knots are out amazing! And by the hammer of Thor, their spicy Caesar salad is a must!! I mean I have never had a better Caesar salad! Their pinwheels are also a great starter. Now the wild shroom pizza, is like having the most delicious French onion soup in pizza form! Holy smokes!! And the hot honey and pepperoni, brings such a great balance of spice and sweetness from the sauce and honey. This is my new local spot for pizza.

Went last weekend for a quick lunch after a visit to Dadeland. This place has been on my radar forever. First off the garlic knots -- incredible texture, crispy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside and covered in garlic and herb butter. Next we got the Brooklyn style cheese pizza. This was also very special, an incredible crust and really great flavor. The last pizza we got was the square hot honey. This one fell a bit flat for me compared to others I've tried, but it was still really good. We finished off with the cookies, which were good (more crispy than I prefer), but not out of this world. The place is very cute and quiet, but service was a bit slow for how few people were there. Nevertheless, I will definitely be back for more of those garlic knots and Brooklyn style pizza!

They have many options of pizza. Hot honey pepperoni is super fire, not too hot and not too sweet but perfectly balanced. Lunch specials here are clutch. Service is always friendly. They have seating indoors or outside. They have draft beer with can and bottle options and other drinks as well. Garlic knots are really good too. Portions are a bit on the smaller side but you won't feel bloated after.

Nestled in downtown dadeland...The place is small and my only complaint (because the service was great and so was the food) was that the air wasn't working and while they opened one set of doors, it wasn't enough to fully let in a breeze so it was warm inside while dining. Normally outdoor would have been fine but given the unexpected Florida weather it began raining. Now onto the food, we started with 2 orders of garlic knots since our group was larger than 3. I definitely recommend an appetizer cause the pizza takes a bit to get to you. We ordered 2 different pizzas. Pepperoni and Hot honey Sicilian style and the Brooklyn Cheese New York Style. Both delicious.

This was my first time ever trying the Sicilian pizza and I am OBSESSED! The combination of the pepperoni, hot honey, and basil were an explosion of flavors. I also tried the meatballs and they were *chef kiss. This is a great place to have dinner with the family, in case moms don't want to cook.

First off..... the pizza is amazing, one of the closest pizzas you will find NY style pizza in my opinion. The place is such a vibe! Music, ambiance, and energy is lovely. Lauren is so sweet to all her customers!! She made sure we felt welcomed and was attentive to us the whole time. It's such a vibe at night to grab a bite and yap!! Love it!!!

Very very good pizza. I haven't been to the main location, but we took out pies from here. The plain cheese was very good.

Ordered two pizzas and one Caesar Salad for pick up. One hour for pick up, total was $100. Pizza was cold and small. Not impressed.

Of all the pizza places in Miami, this one is the closest to my house. It would really have been a…read morehome run if it was my favorite, but sadly it did not make it. Not that the pizza isn't good; it just isn't great. And it is not because of the ingredients as they all tasted fresh and delicious. It is the preparation. Now let me set some foundation here. I have lived in Rhode Island where pizza is a staple. I have lived in New York and Connecticut, which, despite being neighboring states have entirely different ideas of what the perfect pizza is, and I had the good fortune of the best of both. I have lived in Massachusetts we're outside of the north end of Boston pizza is largely very mediocre and I give all this information just to tell you that I have an established standard for pizza that may differ from other peoples. My favorites come out of coal fired brick ovens. So I was pretty excited about trying Strange Beast. They use a gas fired pizza oven that reaches the same temperatures as the ones to make apizza but they make a Neapolitan pie which traditionally has a soft center whereas Apizza is baked longer to achieve a sturdy, crispy crunch. And this is the part that disappoints me. That soft center does not hold the toppings well and makes the pizza droop when you pick it up. Much like the New York pizza that you have to fold over to keep the toppings from falling off, this pizza just did not have that firmness that I love so much. And on this evening when I ordered the Swamp Thing (Mozzarella, Ricotta, Red Onion, Cherry Tomatoes, Pesto) the center actually seemed raw. Somehow, despite having all my favorite flavors, it looked beautiful on the pan, but flopped over and lost its appeal when it was picked up the flavors all in all were pretty good. The restaurant itself has a pretty cool vibe and the servers were superb. In addition to grieving great service, they were friendly and engaging. This is kind of a highlight of the restaurant. This review is based on a single experience and I will probably try it again. I may ask them to cook the pizza well done to see if it comes closer to what I like. I can't give it my highest recommendation, but I would never give it less than four stars based on even the service alone. So I will be back again an update this sometime soon.
