Landworx of Brevard did a great job installing new sod at our house after our pool construction wrapped up. Anthony was awesome to work with throughout the process. He actually recommended waiting a little longer to install the sod because of the recent cold snap since the sod was coming in a bit brown. I really appreciated the honesty and the focus on doing the job right instead of rushing it. Once everything warmed up, his crew came out for delivery and install and knocked it out. They worked hard, did a really clean install, and made sure everything looked great when they finished. They also cleaned up well afterwards, which I always notice on projects like this. Pricing was competitive compared to other quotes we looked at, and overall the experience was smooth from start to finish. I gave a 2 star even though they should get a 1 star. The 2 star is due to the crew doing the work did a super job on the installation. But Anthony outright lied to me on several occasions. Once he was paid he would not follow up with replacing dead sod or sod that was weed sod. He to;d me on several occasions he would replace the sod but never came. I asked at least 4 times and he said he would take care of it but never did. I gave up. Bottom line is hold back final payment until you are satisfied with the job. I'm going to have to pay someone else to replace the dead sod his workers were give. Along with some sod that was weed sod. read more

Because of the freeze this past winter we needed to have our lawn (front and back) removed, leveled and sodded; plus we had trees removed and replaced. Communication initially was good and quick. Unfortunately, my mother passed away and when they began the work we were out of state for the services. When we returned the removal was almost completed. After about 3 weeks they returned to begin to lay the sod and some of the trees. Additional work needed to be completed and when that work was being completed they cut into our sprinkler line and cable box out front with the stump remover. There were 5 bushes left in their planters already starting to dry out. When we mentioned the sprinkler Anthony stated for us to get them repaired and the cost would be taken off the final payment. He did take off a portion of some of the cost but we did end up paying much more than expected. We have asked for the 5 bushes to be replaced and have texts going back and forth agreeing to come back out but have yet had a response other than he would get back to us. The last communication was before July 4th when he stated those bushes would be replaced by the holiday. He never came back out nor reached out with an alternative date. I will say the lawn is beautiful but it just seems that we were the ones having to constantly reach out. It is a shame because while dealing with a family loss we still had to deal with the stress of this situation without it getting resolved. read more

This guy is a crook he'll say that they'll start right away then not show up for several days. The work they did was horrible their machine crushed my irrigation pipes I had to pay $625 to have them replaced. A large amount of their sod was no good and it's sitting there dead! He charged me for pallets and instead of leaving the remaining sod he stole it even though I paid for it! His crew removed my sprinklers and left quite a few of them on the fence, so I had no idea where they took them from. He overcharged for the work that was done. He's definitely not someone you want to give money to not for the lousy work they did. read more

Terrible. I hired them for a berm. Anthony / Landworx of Brevard. What I got was a 2-person crew that arrived 4 hours before dark that wasn't given a project overview and the owner (Anthony) wasn't on site. With equipment that didn't have lights. What I got was piles of dirt that had a 22inch difference from the south to the north over 89 feet. I paid deposit and project immediately because he assured me he'd be back if any problems. They ripped out my sprinklers, caused 2 ponds in my yard from the skidsteer making u-turns, they didn't level those areas and they impacted my septic drainfield. When I called and texted Anthony numerous times about the ponds of water and the sprinklers - he didn't respond. I hired someone for the sprinklers (paid for that myself) and leveled the ponds myself. But I never stopped trying to contact him. Finally he responded. And said - you got your berm, what's the issue? This was all captured on text. I did get $350 back to cover sprinklers, but he should not have accepted a dime. The berm has eroded. He says it's because I used sand from down the street, which I did for 10% of the job and my yard is sand anyway. He agreed it was ok as a base layer to make things even but to do clay/dirt the rest. So we did that. The rest is 50/50 clay and dirt which was excellent. The issue is, his team didn't compact. I did add sod to attempt to keep the berm in place as he directed, but it eroded anyway. Very very very bad work. Do not use this company. He will be SO nice upfront and reassure you, and then you'll be left with a poorly done project and probably insurmountable expenses as a result. read more

Wow, this must be Landworx of Brevard also. How many Anthonys' can there be that profess to do landscaping and sod work? He (Anthony) came and gave us an estimate for some landscape gardening work. My husband gave him a $ deposit, and we haven't seen him since (that was over a month ago). After phone calls, leaving phone messages, text, and e-mails to confirm a start date... I have yet to SEE Anthony Vitale. Or, to have him even respond to my attempts to contact him! BUT, he has the audacity to post PAST DUE on an INVOICE for the job (on their website: Landworx of Brevard), having DONE NOTHING! I'm sorry, but who does business this way? Especially to a older VETERAN! If Anthony couldn't (or wouldn't) do the work between May 2, 2024 and June 2, 2024, which is the 30 days length of time the QUOTE was valid, why not just tell us, and RETURN the $ deposit $. Overall, I had a very poor experience with this company and the company they partner with (Prolawn). The business owner, Anthony, came out and initially gave us a quote to install sprinklers and sod, recommended ProVista. We met twice and I asked a ton of questions and he seemed very knowledgeable. He stated that it would be best if we ran off of city water for the sprinklers as well, to avoid rust staining on the sidewalks and that wells were very expensive. We just moved to the area and had a few quotes from other companies, we decided to go with this one. Honestly, I now feel it was a huge mistake. When the guys were here putting the sprinklers in, they cut through my cable line and didn't tell me, they asked me questions about the main water lines and installed sprinklers that we didn't request. We ended up having to pay for an extra zone because they said our water pressure was too low, but they installed two extra zones in the end. It's took weeks and weeks to get the sod installed, due to weather which I understand, however when we originally discussed everything he said they work year round and weather wasn't an issue. The guys that installed the sod were fighting and cursing in my front yard, while the neighborhood kids rode their bikes up and down the street and they were so loud I could here them in my house. I brought this up to Anthony and he apologized, and said that they were from the company he partnered with. Once the sod was down, he had us water twice a day for a month, I had no idea the water bill from that would be astronomical and he, as a business owner, should have warned me about it, since he recommended going off of city water. Fast forward to a month on to having the yard, Prolawn refuses to get in touch with me regarding fertilization and treatment of the yard they had put down (so Anthony said) so he recommended finding another company to go through. No recommendations, just sorry I guess you'll have to find someone else. Fine, whatever. Asked him in the very beginning if he would service the yard once it was down and he said absolutely. Then he told me he would be coming out to do it either the end of two weeks ago or the beginning of last week. Heard nothing, text him, nothing. So, I ended up finding another company to cut and maintain the front yard and let him know that as well. Still haven't heard anything. This has been a nightmare to deal with, especially with everything else that's going on in the world right now and being an essential worker, my husband is a retired Veteran, I tried to get something taken care of and it turned into a huge pain. Terrible communication through the whole process. It's so upsetting to move across the country and the first thing you do in your new home to make it better, you feel taken advantage of.
