Horrible!!! Just horrible. Anothys reopened last night July 6. We had heard so much about them since the kitchen fire closed them for about 18 months. I ordered hot wings, a calzone and a pizza. I don't know how it's possibly to forget to put the sauce on the wings! I was given a box of over fried naked wings. The pizza was undercooked by at least 10 minutes leaving a fist full of dough. Same with the calzone. It also came without the marinara sauce. A waste of 46.00. Not again. read more

Anthony's Restaurant in Stephen City, VA is way too overpriced for what quality and quantity we paid for. We ordered food only to find out the price was $3 more than the menu stated. The woman behind the counter said it was an old menu. Old menu? Why is the old menu still being used - and still directly on your counter? When were you going to tell us the price on the menu is wrong and our food will be considerably more? When asked about the coupons on the tri-fold take-out menu, the lady said they weren't offering those sales? This is tragic. We ordered 2 gyros and got 3 slices of gyro meat, old tomatoes, stale onions, and a big dab of sour cream (gyro's are supposed to come with tzatziki sauce) for $7.25(!?!?!). Too, who in Stephen City offers a $20+ dollar for a 16' pizza? Not even Domino's or Papa John's would scam their customers so blatantly. Take you money elsewhere. My family's and my favorite pizzeria. Their subs and pasta are also very good. Their giant pizza is awesome for feeding a large group of kids; plus the kids love how huge it is. Delivery is fast. Service rocks. read more

We got the jumbo wings, steak bacon fries, and funnel cake sticks. Jumbo wings weren't really JUMBO, but they were pretty good. Fries could've had more cheese and meats. Funnel cake sticks were spot on. Wish they still had the fried oreos....had them last year and they were delicious. All in all not too bad, they were quick too with delivery on labor day weekend. We usually order for pickup but tonight we decided to have our food delivered! We ordered at 9:10 pm and at 10:14pm called to see where our delivery was. We were advised that the delivery driver already delivered to us. I advised the team member that no one had been to our house. I asked who signed the receipt and was told they had no idea it was just scribbled on. We decided to go in to the restaurant to discuss the matter further. The gentleman at the register greeted us and was very nice. He proceeded to explain that no one signed the receipt and the driver says he handed the food to a woman at the door. The driver then proceeded to try to explain his side of what happened and was rude and unpunprofessional. He had the nerve to call me sweetheart which is a NO NO in customer service when speaking to a customer. I think the driver needs to be re-train and taught some manners! The rest of the staff was very nice and one of the Managers even called me after the situation to apologize again! I will still order from here just not for delivery! read more

I just had a steak hoagie and cheese fries at there new location in the old Enricos place. The food over all was over priced 12.10 for a 8 inch and cheese fries. Paid more for just lettuce tomato,mayonnaise. Sub was not very good cheese fries not enough for the price. Not good value for a meal. And some of there meal deals a bit overpriced. I pay this for a great deli sandwich and steak fries,drink from Santinis over the mountain in nva. Might give one more chance read more

I really like Anthony's, but I will say, tonight, as my buddy's free menu item, he got the Cheeselovers pizza for his daughter (5 cheeses; cheddar, American, provolone, mozzarella and Parmesan) and We were not happy with it. First we assumed it would still have tomato sauce...not the case. Secondly, and I don't know if it was the American or the cheddar, but the yellow cheese looked and tasted like nacho cheese. It was a gooey mess and his daughter, who is a cheese freak, couldn't get passed 5 bites (which really surprised me). I'm still giving Anthony's 4 stars because I do like the majority of their food, but this item needs work. If it doesn't have any tomato sauce, it should say so. When I think Cheeselovers, I think it just means more cheese. If the cheddar happened to be actual shredded cheddar, than I have to believe it was the American cheese that was the gooey mess that ruined the pizza. If so, I would suggest a different cheese as a replacement. Swiss would have been better than American. read more

Charges an extra 6% to pay by debit or credit. Place is clean, food is not bad, but no where as near as good as the one on senseny road or route 11 in Winchester. read more

The owner and his family are a great bunch of people, I was a customer of there's for years... I don't order from there as much as I used to but whenever I do I usually either get a large pizza or a sub and the food is not bad for the prices that they charge read more

You MUST try their cannoli. It's perfection drizzled with chocolate and sprinkled with powdered sugar. The sweet cheese is mixed with chocolate chips. They are delightful. read more

For the money you pay it's not worth it. 3 small subs, chicken nugget basket and 2 orders of fries, paid 40$. We usually eat at Italian Delight and there food is good and a lot cheaper. Will not be ordering from Anthonys again. read more

This review is for the Anthony's on Warrior Drive in Stephens City (the old Enrico bldg). I am not sure where these other people have eaten, but I can assure you that their experiences are vastly different from ours. We are a large, busy family and we get take-out quite often from this Anthony's. I cannot think of a single time that our food was bad or overpriced. As a matter of fact, their family meal specials are a real deal. You can choose from several different entrees. You get a large tray of salad that has lettuce, onions, green peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and banana peppers. You also get bread sticks. Their bread sticks are different from the norm, but we have grown a fondness for them. The penne pasta is wonderful and the lasagna is just about the best I have ever gotten "out". Their subs are great and their Sicilian pizza is to die for. I could go on, but I think you get the idea here. But I have to say one more thing that is very important to me. I had never really eaten much from Anthony's. Then I heard about a very generous donation of pizzas (and I mean a lot of pizzas!) that were given to a local family who was throwing a birthday bash for their child who was terminally ill. The child wanted a big birthday party and the family went all out and invited anyone who wanted to come to celebrate what turned out to be the child's last birthday. The party had a carnival theme and the family did all they could to make it special. Being an average income family, the family seemed to spare no expense to make their child happy. When I found out that the owner of the Stephens City Anthony's donated all the pizza for the very large event, I decided right then that I would definitely give them some of my business. To my delight, it has turned out to be our favorite place to eat for all the reasons previously mentioned. But the most important reason is the generosity that they showed to this family. So I say....Thanks Anthony for what you have done for the community and especially for your good food!!! read more
