Pizza was really good, but slow slow delivery service. I ordered online thought the eta was rather long and it arrived 25 minutes past what was quoted. Pizza was cold. Probably okay if you dine in, but don't expect a timely delivery. Not ordering again. Pizza was good but not worth the extended wait for cold pizza. read more

This is the 3rd time I have ordered online from the Stephens City location. After almost 3 hrs., I called to see why my order had not been delivered. They said, oh we are really busy and acted like it was no big deal. I told them if it wasn't coming I wanted to cancel my order. They said OK. I told them they need to do a better job and I wouldn't be ordering from them again. They said OK. I ended up ordering from Domino's and had it within 30 minutes. There food is just ok and they don't follow the Covid-19 distances when delivering. There are several others in the area that will deliver in a decent time. I just ordered delivery. They were very nice over the phone but was very surprised why my order cost so much. I first let them know I have a gluten allergy and I ordered just a double cheeseburger with nothing else and no bun. It cost a little over $11. I still gave it a shot. When I received my order my TINY burger and cheese was stuck to a HUGE bun and it came with fries. I don't mind that there was confusion that they thought it was a full meal but my biggest issue is not only did I state my gluten allergy but I also specifically stated no bun. After some time passes we'll give them another chance and I'll update my review then. I've noticed many places that open here have a rough start but get better. read more

Just moved to town and searching for a go to pizza place. We tried the steak hoagie and Stromboli- both were great. The pizza was also good, but better the second time we tried. The first time we ordered for delivery it arrived very messy and seemed under cooked. Assuming it was because we ordered towards the end of the night. Second time ordering from here this will be our last. Ordered 2 salads both came with wilted lettuce. Didn't notice until I was half way through eating the salad so I guess my nights set for being sick. The chicken ceasar had a low quality chick o patty almost chicken nugget type thing on it that reminds me of Murray's products if you know what I mean. How Sal's ever became a franchise I'll never know. I love this place. The lady that works here, I believe is one of the managers, Bella I think, is so nice and hilarious. I happened to be in while some other customers were there. They must have been regulars because the banter back and forth between them and Bella were hilarious. I love a restaurant where you can feel comfortable and have fun with even the employees. Makes for a very relaxing dinner and sometimes a comedy show with it. lol. The food is good and they seem to be very interested in making sure their customers are happy. I read some of the old reviews and was a little nervous to try but honestly I don't know what they're talking about. Must be some moody Karen's. I called in for a large "Works" pizza and asked for it to be cooked well done. I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. We arrived at the restaurant 20 minutes after ordering, paid for the pizza and was told it was almost ready. The pizza that was in the oven which I thought was mine was boxed and picked up by another customer shortly after I arrived. Ten minutes after my arrival, one of the staff made a large Works pizza and put it in the oven. I received my pizza 45 minutes after ordering and 26 minutes after arriving at the restaurant, and the pizza was not cooked well done. There were no "dine-in" customers and a few pickup orders during my 26 minute wait so the restaurant was not super busy. The unexplained and unnecessary delay was very disappointing and I do not plan to return. Zero focus on customer service. read more

Not worth it! I found a menu for this new place in town attached to my front door and thought I would try it. I am a huge fan of NY Style pizza but this place was not even close! The pizza was sub-par and the breadsticks were overcooked. The cheesy bread looked like it had processed slices melted on them. My kids wouldn't even eat it! What a disappointment! Since they were busy, we figured it would be really good. We got a margerita pizza and mozzarella sticks. It was over $35 for that. The pizza had almost no cheese, except for tiny pieces of "fresh" mozzarella. Not covering 1/10 of the pizza. It had a weird pizza sauce, that strangely tasted like prego sauce. We have ordered 3 times from here. The first time they were able to get our order right but the food was ok. Wasn't loving the Buffalo chicken sandwich. The second time we ordered pizza. Roma's has everyone in the area beat!! This last time will be our last. We used the app to order. During the current situation with COVID-19, they are bringing your order to the parking lot. After 20 minutes waiting in the parking lot after the estimated time of our food being ready, we didn't get our salad. We waited another 20 minutes to get that. At this time, we should have checked the rest of our order but we didn't. We get home and find out they made the wrong calzone. We were both looking forward to sausage and pepperoni and got ham instead. We are all for supporting local businesses but this was the icing on the cake for us. I ordered my meal online, it was not too expensive. They originally gave me a 40 min time frame but my food was delivered in 20. My order was wrong (only on my sub) so I called them and the woman at the desk said she forgot to add what I wanted on the order and they would send another sub out to me. On the phone she kept asking me what was wrong with my food and finally after telling her 5 times she understood. 25 minutes later my remade food was delivered to me, except it was still wrong. I called and said it was still wrong and told the woman that answered the phone why. I asked for a refund and then she said she would like to give me a credit instead. After telling her no she put me on hold and when she came back she said I would get a refund for my sub. None of the food I ordered tasted good except the French fries. Ordered through their online ordering system, which delayed our delivery by about an hour and a half. We ordered eggplant rollatini, a pepperoni pizza, and gnocchi Genovese. The rollatini itself was fine, but the sauce tasted exactly like Hunts (yuck), the pizza sauce was bland but a bit sweet, and the pesto for the gnocchi was just olive oil with dried herbs. Everything was greasy and flavorless. Overall absolutely not worth the price and an incredibly disappointing experience. read more
