Gnocchi with Rosa sauce, chicken parmesan over angel hair, & meatballs.

We ordered take-out. Everything was delicious. The Gnocchi with Rosa sauce was super! We did not receive any bread or sides, I'm not sure if that is normal or if it was a slip up; so if you want bread or a side salad, make sure you ask/order it. I'll definitely be ordering again. Thank you!

If you're lucky enough to be in Sea Isle ? Treat yourself to Anthony's! Best Italian on the island! The food is fabulous and the people who serve are awesome! Lobster Francais and Crabs and Spaghetti!!!

    No lumps

We decided to go to Anthony's in SIC on Father's Day, at the last minute. We were fortunate enough to get a table at the bar. I can't taste food, as well as being a pescatarian, so I'm particular about my food, and needing textures. I ordered jumbo lump crab cakes. Expecting chunks of crab... unfortunately it was 99% shredded crabmeat. My husband's meal had lump crab on it, so he gave it to me because he felt bad for me. The service was very good, the staff very friendly, the ambiance was beautiful!

Great food, service and ambiance. Love their eggplant Parmesan. Can't wait to try other entrees on the menu.

We go many times thru the season and our kids enjoy it too, now third generation. The experience is what we look forward to; dining on the water, enjoying local seafood, and beautiful sunsets! Come hungry; they're generous portions! Must have from the menu is crab balls, we love the crab legs steamed in old bay, and the wasabi tuna!! Here is a photo this season from lunch! Our friends wanted a gluten free option at lunch and they were super accommodating. No roll and then made it look really nice on the plate too!

I've been coming to Mike's for years, it seems to be a tradition that my wife's family had so I…read moreplayed along. I haven't reviewed them for a reason, I simply have never been impressed (at all). I'll start this with the fact that they really need to change their menu description, putting "fresh" in front of every menu item is silly. Maybe it should say: "previously frozen...now thawed" instead; but I guess that doesn't have the same ring to it. Most of the food over the years has been extremely bland and if breaded it's bought that way and with way too much breading. We have stuck to the seafood options and had most of what's on the menu. A few of the most disappointing have been the "Shrimp from Hell", simply cocktail sauce drizzled with hot sauce, the "Crab Balls" which are mainly breading with a little back fin mixed in, and the calamari which is overbreeded, under seasoned and tough. Some of the tried and true that are decent are the steamed clams, the fried clams (but again thick breading) and surprisingly on this last trip the "Lobster Mac and Cheese" balls. Now first, I'm not expecting high cuisine here, you can literally walk onto the dock with a cooler on wheels and sit at your picnic table. The atmosphere is okay but lack of background music makes it uncomfortable at times (nothing worse than having to listen to the people three tables over discuss their latest doctor's visit). The staff is always great. These two reasons are why they are getting three stars instead of two. I would at least want something that tastes a little better than mediocre at best. In fact, this past visit they actually tasted much better but that's likely due to the fact that we ate in every other seafood restaurant in Sea Isle first, before coming to Mike's. Are they great, nope, not even close. For Sea Isle and the surrounding area's they are towards the top. Needless to say, you can have fun, temper your expectations for good food, enjoy some cocktails and the views.

Service very good, food was timed well and waitress ensured we had what we needed. Salads were good, great to see a place that still does this. 2) Steamed Clams - white. Plump, tasty, herby broth. Delicious! 3) Carmens Spaghetti and Seafood. Mussels were small, overcooked, and fishy. Got about 10 mussels. Lobster tail was mealy and lacked any real flavor. Crabmeat sauce had a few small bits of crab, but overall, just a thick tomato pasty sauce. For $40, this entree was weak. 3) Broiled Shrimp and scallops. Shrimp was good, scallops were pretty small - tender, but lacked the sweetness and flavor a quality scallop is known for - not sure where these come from, but really just ok. Baked potato was extremely undercooked and inedible. We'll be back at some point, just not our best experience there.

Marie's does it way way way better.
