Saddest pizza ever- I hoped for a yummy flatbread but this was very disappointing. Drinks were good.

Just ran into these hot chicks at the restaurant!

I've heard so many good things about this place, and the food was fantastic! I got the sexiest Shrimp & Lobster Cobb stack. The presentation was "luxury" but I had an extremely difficult time cutting my Cobb. I also got a Onion soup as an appetizer and it was nothing that special, but still good. The waiter was SO HOT and very friendly. The bathroom was so ugly...like red walls?? How am I supposed to take an Instagram worthy mirror pic without looking extremely sunburnt and on a murder crime scene.

Expensive but so bad. I'm so sorry I never wrote a bad review but I have to. Meat tastes raw and weird.

Messed up our order, my meal never came. So I ate my kids sides. Food was cold. The manager shammed us for complaining then offered me a 10% discount if I still wanted my meal. On Father's Day. . Thanks- won't be back

    Scallop w spinach and penne.

Should have went to The Crab Trap - I wanted to try somewhere new in Sea Isle- so Henri's it was. Drinks were good. She -Crab soup was delish along with the calamari. My husband got lucky with his entree , fresh catch of the day- Cod with asparagus. Plain but good. I ordered sea scallops with penne. Extremely disappointed- 3 burnt scallops w spinach and penne in red sauce. sauce had that burnt taste as well. Not worth $37! Atmosphere is lovely. Be wise will your choices.

Overall had a great experience here and would suggest people stop in for themselves…read more We walked in a few nights before Christmas and it appeared to be just finishing a huge rush. Sat relatively fast and our server (forget his name) gave us a heads up that the kitchen was behind. We ordered then expecting to wait but the food came out very fast. Everyones meals were excellent, from the pork belly appetizer, burgers, seared fish sandwich, huuge hot dog, and nachos. Our server was very attentive and got us everything we needed quickly. Overall a very good experience and would go again when in town.

I only had the one I paid for. There's no need to lie, bad days happen. This is not a speakeasy, this is a restaurant cosplaying as a speakeasy. That may be a bit harsh, it's a speakeasy in training. Sure, it's got all of the speakeasy decor, blackout curtains over the windows and doors, and a big selection of pedestrian liquor but it's not quite there. We went in on an early evening on Wed and there were maybe 5 other patrons in there. Our waitress was nice and brought us water to the high top. She brought us two food menus, and a specials menu. I asked for a bourbon list and she brought it; no prices on the list. Annoying. On the specials menu there was a small section of manager recommended drinks and one was a Willet. The way it was written was confusing because it said it was both a 4 year and 14 year for $52, so I asked for clarification on the age statement. She took the menu to the barkeep, who confirmed it was a 14 year so I said yes I'll have that. A drink was brought to me, but I could tell from the taste that it was not what I ordered. I asked the waitress for the bottle, she asked the guy behind the bar for the bottle and he pulled down a willet pot still bottle (pot still is the entry level Willet and at best a 5 dollar pour, no where near what I asked for). I told her that I was given the wrong drink, then she approached the bar and between her, and the male and female bartenders they had a weird back and forth conversation. Then, finally they pulled down the bottle that I asked for, that was advertised, and gave me a pour of it. I asked to see the bottle and the waitress brought it over but held it instead of putting it on the table (it was a 13 year Willet, Paper Trail). As we were about to order we were told that they reset the menu the very day before, with the focus of putting more love and care into the food. Feeling good about that, we ordered the French quarter catfish and the bourbon braised short ribs. The corn that came with the short ribs tasted straight out of a store bought steamable pouch, and the "ribs" weren't ribs at all, just sliced meat. The only redeemable thing about the catfish dish was the aioli; the rice had no flavor, the corn was cold and hard, and the catfish was mostly breading. We both took a few bites and resigned. I have been to many speakeasies around the US, and there are common themes: a much better selection of liquor; 95% of the bourbon were low tier bottles you can find in any liquor store for around $50. Also, when customers ask for the bottle, it isn't because we plan to steal it or drink from it, its because we're genuinely interested in the information on the labels. The quickest way to get people to stop spending money is to make them feel as if they can't be trusted touching a bottle. Perhaps it was an off day for the staff and this wasn't a typical experience, but I won't go back.

Let me…read moretell you - the buzz was on point Let's start with the staff - very friendly Next our waitress Brittany gave some excellent recommendations both on drinks and food. She was attentive and friendly. In addition to their regular menu, they had a special valentine's centric menu. This made it difficult to choose because we had also been given recommendations from friends on what to order. We settled on French onion soup (delicious), Caesar salad and the filet special from the valentines menu which was accompanied by the creamiest butteriest smashed potatoes (note the menu said mashed but I consider any mashed that contains the skins of the potatoe a smashed potatoe) and asparagus with a reduction. The food was very good. I can't use the term exceptional until I have made more visits - which we will certainly do. I also treated myself to the chocolate strawberry martini. Delicious ! We also had the chocolate mousse topped with fresh whipped cream and strawberries for desert. It will go on my top 10 desserts I ever ate list for sure. Needless to say that kitchen is pushing out some fantastic food. The bar is putting out quality pours and cocktails. I would also be remiss if I didn't state that they also had a live guitarist singing and he was good - I didn't catch his name though. Can't give them a 5 star until we dine again ... Thanks local tavern for a great experience!

The food overall is pretty decent too! I've been here a few times so far and I've liked most of what I ate. To get it out of the way, there are two duds: the Nashville Chicken and the Truffle Potato Wedges. The Nashville Chicken is cooked well but was boring and lacked any flavor (did they forget the sauce when I tried it?). The truffle potato wedges are a little more interesting but it was such a small portion that it's almost pointless to get it. Fortunately, the rest of the food is much better. The dinner menu is a stronger showing. We loved the French Onion Soup, the turkey pot pie, the kielbasa sandwich, and the blueberry cobbler all knock it out of the park. They're all cooked perfectly, portioned well, and have strong flavors. I can wholly recommend all those dishes. I can definitely recommend coming here for dinner. It's a very well run restaurant with good food.
