My family and I went to Adam's restaurant for breakfast again and the food was fantastic I had their banana nut hot cakes with bacon and tea and my cousin had the banana and strawberry with Nutella French toast and my cousin had the breakfast sampler. While you get a lot of food (salads, bread, and sides with the meal) the quality leaves a bit to be desired. Scallops were too rubbery and overdone, caesar dressing is kraft. Even though it was nearly empty, the service was slow at dinner time. I order fried flounder which came with two pieces. One larger and one smaller. I ate the smaller one first but when I took a bite of the second piece, I had to spit it out. It was clearly past it's time. The fishy taste and smell were AWLFUL! I mentioned this to the waitress, and she told me since I'd eaten the first piece, there was nothing she could do for me. The salad was fresh but I'd asked for dressing on the side and it was covered in dressing PLUS the side. I thought about speaking to the mgr but, being on vacation, I didn't feel like getting my blood pressure up so I let it go but promised myself to write a review when I got home. read more

I love some views and cute decor! Not gonna lie, my sister dragged our family in here because she was hungry, lol. The rest of my family and I decided to grab something small off their menu to eat, but it was still great. The Yogurt Parfait was simple but delicious! My mom and sister are scrapple lovers and they said Adam's had the BEST scrapple they ever tasted. It's been three months and they still talk about it! This restaurant is attached to the yellow monstrocity that is the Montego Bay 'Resort'. If you stay at the 'resort' you get coupon vouchers for breakfast and dinner. The vouchers either give you a free item off a predetermined voucher menu, or a flat discount off a regular menu item. There's definite pros and cons to this restuarant and I probably wouldn't have eaten here multiple times if it weren't for the vouchers. The staff is friendly, and the food comes out incredibly quick and hot (the speed is nice for breakfast but leaves some questions about the more complicated dinner items). For breakfast we made it easy and stuck to the voucher items. The French toast with sausage is my recommended combo. The brand of sausage they use has a nice bite, and the meat isn't overly seasoned with caraway seeds (just my own pet peeve). The cream chipped beef didn't have much seasoning but the consistency was just right. Eggs are eggs no issues there. For dinner we got the seafood broil combination, surf and turf, and chicken parm. The seafood broil was cooked nicely, but they put some kind of white gravy on everything. The dish doesn't need the gravy in my opinion so let the seafood shine. The chicken parm was nice and crispy and a good portion for a voucher item. The surf and turf looked good, but the person in our party who had it said the steak was overcooked. For the cons, the place is a little outdated (could be the resorts fault as the whole building is outdated, the silverware was always dirty looking and there were flies because the front door was constantly being left wide open. From the time we arrived for lunch the service and food was excellent. The wonderful waitress we had recommended coming back for dinner. With that endorsement we did. Dinner, and same waitress and hostess were great. I had the flounder francaise and my wife had the broiled mixed seafood. We were both thrilled with the preparation and flavor. And, we live at the Shore so we get lots of seafood to compare. The bartender is an institution with great attitude. The waitress was very welcoming which sets the tone for any restaurant! The place has been completely remodeled. The staff is always friendly and courteous. Great view of the boardwalk from the panoramic windows. I always get the broiled seafood combo which is absolutely fantastic. The chicken Parmesan is also very good. The portions are plentiful. They have a bar as well. This is owned and operated by a family and they really do take care of their customers. If you want the ocean breeze you can sit up close to the windows on days when they are completely wide-open... If not, you can sit back on the raised level and enjoy the air conditioning. Either way you'll have a great meal in a nice family friendly atmosphere. read more

Our waitor was half present, only at the table to take orders and deliver food and was impossible to flag down. It took the manager walking around asking ow things were for us to get refills on drinks. I ordered the sea food alfredo and it was bland to say the least. $27 and they left the shrimp tails on??? To be honest, my expectations were low for this place. It had old, outdated, tacky furniture and looked unappealing. The reason we ate here was because we just drove 7 hours, were starving, and it was a sit down establishment that had a table open. But this restaurant happened to be a "don't judge a book by it's cover" establishment. I ordered the stuffed flounder with a salad, broccoli, and baked potato. And all meals come with bread and butter. Everything was very good and HOT. The stuffed flounder was flavorful and cooked perfectly and the crab inside did not over power it. It had a very light sauce on top that was delicious. The salad was your typical side salad with cherry tomatoes, red onions, croutons, and cucumbers. I wish they didn't put the dressing right on the salad because it was a tad too much for my liking, but I could have ordered it on the side. The baked potato was very good and the broccoli was a little over cooked, watery, and a small portion. The bread was a nice crusty bread, warm that went well with my dish. Overall, I give the dish a B+. I got a lot of food for the price as well. I would eat here again. read more

This is the best place around! A wide selection of breakfast foods and something for everyone! The staff is wonderful! Friendly and attentive. Situated right on the boardwalk, with wide windows that open to catch the ocean breeze, it's a great atmosphere. We stayed a block or so away for the week we were here and I'm glad we found Adam's at the start of our vacation! We came here for both breakfast and dinner, but came here for breakfast every day. I'm so surprised to see that Adam's got such bad reviews! My experience was nothing short of satisfactory. I'm hoping my review will help hop up this place's rating a bit because it deserves more than 2.5 stars! Situated right at the end of the boardwalk, Adam's is particularly convenient if you're coming from the North Wildwood area. When you walk in, you'll quickly realize its not the fanciest restaurant in the world. We all know atmosphere plays a role, but Adam's makes up for its lackluster appearance in other ways. Let me tell you what made this place stand out for me: the service. Our server, Mike, let his personality shine like no other. He did a stellar job of trying to up-sell food and drink without being too salesman-y. I genuinely enjoyed my time there thanks to his gregarious and outgoing attitude. If it weren't for him, I'd probably be giving this place a 3 out of 5. Good job, Mike, you earned Adam's an extra star! The menu is typical Italian-American cuisine. I got the homemade ravioli stuffed with ricotta cheese and spinach. It came with a side salad which was good, but the creamy Italian was a little too creamy. My dad ordered the seafood special, and it looked bangin'. He practically licked the leftover sauce off his place, so I'd say it's safe to say he enjoyed his meal. My raviolis were scrumptious, but I got so full from the salad and my extra tall Bloody Mary that I had to take most of i home. Like I said, it's not the most beautiful looking restaurant in all of Wildwood. But the service was out of this world, and the food was more than decent! Huge portions! Excellent food. Staff very courteous. Stopped in at 5:15 and took advantage of their early bird specials. Got the Chicken Marsala. It included soup or salad, bread and butter, the main course, and a dessert. I ate too much! For the family it was only a few dollars more than a pizza shop on the boardwalk. Parking is confusing. We arrived around noon on a weekday. Free parking signs for restaurant are right next to the ones that say permits are required for motel. Restaurant in the hotel. Found coupon for Adams and Mom wanted surf and turf as shown on coupon, but was not offered on the menu we received, maybe we there too early? Nasty, nasty carpeting and 'clean' tables had gunk on them, chairs too. Service was okay but slow. I asked for a pancake instead of toast for my omelette and was told it would be a $2 charge for one. Bread they have to buy, yet pancake mix already made and sitting there.... that's worth 2 extra bucks? Then, for some odd reason, another server started vacuuming - at noon? We don't want to hear that horrendous noise!! The only reason she stopped is because her table needed something (and no vacuum in the world could rescue that gross-ass flooring!) The chicken tenders were dried out and lacked flavor. The fries were mealy and average. My spinach omelette was fine and home fries crunchy. Toast is toast. The view of beach is nice! The bar opened when we were dining and bartender must have thought it was karaoke time, as she insisted on singing loudly to the songs playing overhead. Went there a few times last summer for breakfast, and it was good, so we decided to give it another go this Summer. Food was ok, but the service was lousy. The waiter could not understand our order and then disappeared after everything came out. Fast forward 20 minutes and he surfaces with a check, while drinks are sitting empty, waiting for refills. Did not bother to ask if we wanted anything else. We ask for a few more drinks, he makes a face and gets them, then proceeds over to the hostess/checkout lady, and tells her to add the drinks on to our bill. What a beautiful and most delicious dinner! Husband had seafood fradiablo (shrimp, scallops, lobster, fresh tomatoes) the sauce was so incredibly yummy. I had shrimp parmasan, huge shrimp, moist mozzarella. They came with a choice of soup or salad. The salad was so crisp, fresh and had grape tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, onion and croutons with a choice of dressing. . I ate here this past weekend and the experience was disappointing. The restaurant was arranged in an odd way where there was this huge (and I mean huge) gap in the middle of the main floor. It may have served some sort of useful purpose, but it just made the tables look awkwardly positioned. The experience started to go downhill once our waitress served us stale bread. Out of six-seven pieces of bread, only one was soft and edible. The salads were good and seemed fresh. I had the house dressing. I ordered the chicken francaise. The chicken was tough and overcooked, not really appetizing at all. The sauce wasn't very flavorful. I often order this dish elsewhere and since the chicken is usually cut thin and the dish has a lot of the lemon butter sauce, the chicken is usually tender and soft. This was not the case at Adam's Restaurant. The rest of the table (3 others) seemed to enjoy their dishes. We ordered a variety of seafood dishes. My boyfriend who had the seafood alfredo said that he would rate it a 3.5 out of 5. Since I personally had such a "meh" experience I won't be dining here again, especially since the prices are not cheap. read more

I would give them no stars but it's not an option. My daughter and I came to Wildwood to spend a mother daughter week. We decided to go to the boardwalk for dinner. The first place we saw was closed, so we decided to stop at the next restaurant which happened to be Adams. We read the dinner menu on the window and figured we could get something there. Waitress was pleasant. We knew what we wanted, I ordered chicken parm with penne and my daughter ordered a bolognese with linguini. We decided on the house salad which came with the dinner. When the salad arrived, there was a hair in my daughters salad so we set it aside until the main entree arrived. I told the person clearing the table that there was a hair in the salad, the waitress then came over and apologized and asked if we wanted something else. We declined. When the pasta dinner came, there was funny smell of rotten meat or something spoiled. I smelled my dish and my daughters and it was coming from the bolognese. By then we decided to end our dinner and ask for the check. I had eaten half of my parm and my daughter had only eaten a couple spoonfuls of the bolognese. We decided to just finish our drink instead, Ginger Ale and Pepsi. As my daughter was about to take a sip from the Ginger Ale, she noticed a bug inside the cup. We stood up from the table in disgust and went to the register to finish paying and leave. The manager asked if there was something wrong and I explained what happened. She made it seem as if we were the ones to put the hair in salad and and put the bug in the drink. I didn't go there to get a free meal, I went there to enjoy a meal. There was no need for her unpleasant reaction to my unfortunate, disastrous dinner. She offered to reduce my $45 bill by $10.00, which at that point I didn't really care about the bill, I just wanted to pay and get out of there. With that misfortune, that will be the last time I or any of my family members eat there. I would not recommend this place. Aside from all that, the place is also very dirty. Just look at their windows and the rugs inside. A shampooing of the rug wouldn't hurt. read more
