We brought a brand new 2016 vehicle to Anthony's for tire repair. In doing the repair, they damaged the tire pressure monitor sensor. The system didn't set off warning light right away, so we didn't know there was damage to sensor. When the warning light came on, I assumed the system needed to be reset, as tire pressures had changed. But system would not reset. This vehicle is under both new car warranty, and an extended warranty I paid extra for. So I took vehicle to dealer, assuming it was a technical fault in system. The dealer showed us the sensor damaged by Anthony's Tire Company, and charged us over $200 to fix it. I presented this bill to Anthony's, but they said we should have brought it back to them..."we have replacement sensors", he said. He refused to pay for damage he did to car. 1: The car is under warranty, and substituting a non OEM part will void warranty(s). 2. We had no idea that the cause was the fault of this tire shop, and, having a warranty, naturally and logically assumed it was the manufacturers problem. 3. These sensor systems are now common on all new cars, and if Anthony's doesn't know how to protect them when doing repairs, then we certainly would not give them a second crack at the car. Due to Anthony's refusal to pay for the damage they did, I will be pursuing this matter through Small Claims Court, which will add considerable expense over and above the original dealer repair; it's going to cost them more (i.e. court costs, service, and collection). I've been a customer of this shop for decades, but this breach of ethic and responsibility severs that relationship...for good. read more

This is a testimonial for Anthony's tires honesty. I've not used their tire service yet, but will do so the next time I'm in need of tires. I recently lost my wallet and was going through a lot of pain because of that. The silver lining was when Carlos from Anthony's tires called me to return it back. Apparently, his father who owns this business found it on the streets and wanted to return it back. I found Anthony's quite by accident a few years back. I've found myself at their door several times over these years and I have to say, this family is helpful, polite and wonderful to work with. They are so very trustworthy. I can't say enough good about Vince, Danny and the entire family. I'm so lucky they are in my nighboorhood. Any tire issue I have, I don't even bother to call around. Here's my latest story, I took my new Prius to the dealer for an oil change and reported that the front left tire kept getting low, when I went to pick it up, the dealership said there was a nail in it. I asked if it could be patched, they said, and I quote here . . . "No, it's too close to the sidewall to patch. a new tire will be $155.00" So .. I don't have the money and experience told me this was a SLOW leak, only had to put air in the tire every 5-8 days. OK, I have an air compressor so I'll do that. Well, now I need to drive a long distance and wisdom tells me safety trumps budget. I go to Anthony's ... We are all set to put the new tire on based on my knowlede from the dealership, but the guys do a quick check on the tire .. yep - there was a nail, a really small nail but it was in the MIDDLE of the tire, NOT near the sidewall ... Boy, did I feel ripped off from the dealership (which by the way was Toyota of Hollywood urghhhh!!) ... The guys patched my tire didn't try to up sell me the tire they had and and sent me on my way with a smile and gratitude that there are still some honest folks ... If you are on a budget, this is the only tire place to go to. They'll patch a tire dirt cheap, or sell you a used one for only $30 installed! They are friendly and fast and have a big enough lot to get into easily with your RV or horse trailer. I just love these guys! read more
