Saul assisted me that day and notified me that my tire tread was running low and if I didn't replace them soon, I was still going to get nails in my tires. Long story short, he found four nails. I was passing through town when a pothole bent both driver-side wheels. Saul took great care of me. He went old school, and with a blow torch, a set of pliers, and a mallet, he bent my wheels back into serviceable shape like a craftsman. He patched the tire and sent me on my way SAFELY back on the road again. It's good to "have a guy" you can count on when you have a tire issue. Saul is "the Man". He could have gouged me, the desperate out-of-towner. But, no! He treated me like a neighbor. A chain store would have charged me hundreds selling me new wheels. Saul was great! I was looking for shop opened on a Sunday (my tire gave on the fwy) and I saw Johny's shop with 5 stars. I thought maybe he'll be ok. This shop is better than ok! First, Carlos took a call and actually gave me prices on line. He told me To come on in. He was very honest and didn't try to up sell me. I had done my research and when he checked out my tires, he told me exactly what I already knew and that was so refreshing That he wasn't adding issues to what I already had. He said it would take about an hour for all four tires (which wasn't bad) and ended up only taking 40 minutes. I really enjoyed working with him. It was courteous and prompt service. I was on my way to work this morning, when I got an alert on my dash that there was something wrong with my tire. I looked online and found that this tire shop was closest to me I came in right as they opened around 8:30 AM and they took care of me right away, educated me on things about my tires, and provided a great quality service. Apparently I had a nail in my tire, they too it off and patched it up and i was on my way back to work. I am so happy I found this tire shop. I am working in Pacoima working on a TV show and got a nail in my tire. I called a place .2 miles away and they did not have the size tire I needed. I got back on Yelp and found Johny's Tires. I called them and Saul answered the phone and told me he could order the tire and get it by 3p that afternoon. I explained I needed it quicker because of the nail situation. He told me to bring the car in and he would switch out the tire immediately with another tire until the other one arrived. I hung up and drove there immediately. He greeted me and quickly removed the tire and replaced it with one of his temporaries. I then asked if he could order me two tires so that all of my tires would match. I had two new Hankook in the front and Michellen in the rear. He said he could and I paid for them up front...he told me I could pay when I returned, but as he gave me another tire, I wanted him to know I was definitely coming back. $400.00 total for both. He gave me his personal cell and I went back to work. No more than an hour later, he called to say both tires arrived! I returned and he replaced both tires and I was back to work. I can't thank Saul enough. He saved the day! He is friendly, all about customer service and if you're looking for tires, definitely give him a call. I highly recommend this shop for all your tire needs! I called for 2 used tires for a specific size and brand, Saul gave me a warm greeting and checked his inventory and said he did not have the brand I was looking for but he had something similar for a great price. I pulled up at the shop and he immediately recognized me and said my MBZ GLC 300 SUV is using the wrong tires as they are supposed to be run-flats... he asked me to check if I had a spare tire in the trunk but realized it didn't. My tires were regular tires so if anything happened to them it would mean I would be stranded... he was very helpful and gave me an amazing deal for 4 runflats for the price of non-runflats! They were busy but they took care of me right away. They Identified a crack in my wheel and were able to fashion a patch so I could actually drive home that night. Came back the next day and they welded the cracked wheel. Took care of everything for super affordable prices. Bought some brand new Delinte tires back in 2017. Within the 1st week my vehicle was vibrating badly at high speeds. Means they did not balance my tires correctly when I went in to get them. I had to go elsewhere and spend an additional 70$ to get it fixed when it should have been done right the first time by them. 4 years later, still got 3 originals on the car and the 4th one got a bad puncture and had to be replaced with a used one I also got at this location. They balanced that used tire appropriately this time. Every 5k to 6k miles I come back here for a tire rotation. The prices have varied from 15$ to 25$. Depends on who's working there or something. I have no idea why but whatever. I've always been greeted by a friendly employee and the work is quick and efficient. The convenience of the location is what keeps me coming back. I've since found a repair shop I trust so my visits here might be less frequent. We'll see. read more
