You cannot trust these people to do honest business. I'm not talking about the small shops but the people that presently work there. I had my eye on a piece and apparently someone else put down some money for it. So I asked the sales people there and they were pretty nice about it, they told me people usually put down money for stuff and they have to buy them by the end of the month but sometimes they don't buy them at all. Since I was so interested they put down my name and my phone number and told me they would call me if the person didn't come and buy it. I didn't think I was going to get it but in any case they had my number. Two months later I go to the store to check it out and to my amazement the piece is in another section and the price rose from $145 to $500. I was shocked! I called over one of the sales people and asked what happened because at that point I thought it was sold. The person told me that they moved it to this section and now it was $500. If I wanted to buy it this would be the price. It's such a shame because this place is like a gold mine and there are so many cool stuff! There are plenty of more shops though and I'm not going to waste my time somewhere they do not respect customers or do honest business! read more

Antique station is a great mall just on the south side glassell Street in old Towne orange. It's full of many vintage items as well as some more modern trinkets. Definitely worth the time to look around however there is no bathroom for the public and/or customers, so you will have to use a bathroom at a restaurant you are partaking in. There is a main booth that sells jewlery on one end and the owner of that area is nice and helpful. This place is huge and worth visiting when you are on a hunt for antiques. You can easily spend hours in there. I like its location as it is right next to the public parking lot and there are restaurants next door to it. On a typical weekend, you will find lots of shoppers there and many new pieces. I always like the booth that has many beautifully restored Antique stoves. Many neat and quite astonishing. It is a single-floor building so you do not need to worry about stairs. This place smells like divorce. While it remains well lit and probably is the better option when it comes to antique shopping when in the area, this shop just has the feel that the bitter couple parted ways and the ex's shit was sitting in the garage for far too long and the final warning of move your shit or it gets tossed was made. Next stop - renting a spot and setting up the junk for all to see and hopefully buy. Prices are a lot nicer here and more down to earth compared to the other spots. It seems that reality is in the minds of those who want to move all this old stuff and you can find a lot of things. Will they be useful? Ha ha, no. Just consider them on lone till you get married or your hoarder of a spouse passes away, leaving you stuck with all this crap to deal with. The service here is helpful. I was looking for a nicknack and trinket or two and found some behind glass. Simple asking for help and it was cracked open. A shame I didn't end up buying the thing on account of it not fitting exactly what I was looking for upon closer inspection. It's brighter and while the smell of divorce or departing of the material items of the dearly departed, it's still probably the better shops to come antique shopping in this area. Pretty interesting and intriguing antique store. Awesome vintage kitchen appliances in refurbished or restored condition. Lots of cases to showcase their items and also clean and easy to walk around. My sister and I found two old transistor radios; she got one for looks since they both were not in working order, but for decor purposes. This is one of my favorite antique stores in the Orange Circle because they have so many different vendors, friendly employees and lots of sales! I've bought so many items there over the years: pictures of old movie stars, sheet music, dishes, hats, books, albums, gloves... The list goes on and on. Some of the vendors sell tacky items like VHS tapes that no one will ever buy, shoes that have been used to the point where you wonder if they really are shoes, those creepy clown cups my great Aunt Alice had... Just search around, look everywhere, there are some seriously amazing finds. My latest trip I was looking for tea cups and saucers, I walked out with 3 cups and 5 saucers for $16. Parked behind here yesterday and this was our first stop. We really liked all the amazing and incredible displays. This store is packed with goodies! Some of the sections were way too jammed with stuff which made it difficult to actually see things and for some vendors it would be nice if they organized a bit more. This place is really large but it truly was a favorite and after going in many antique shops we stopped back in before leaving. This is a definite go to when you are here. Out of the many antique malls located within the Old Towne Orange Circle the Antique Station has to be one of my favorites. It's like roaming a flee market except things are better organized. There are many treasures to be found here. My only qualm is that some of the items are in my book OVERPRICED. However, there are many dealers that post sale signs and also offer certain percentages off of the items. My most recent treasure find is a vintage pill box. Originally priced at $25 I walked out the door with my new little find for only $22 and some change. That wasn't much of a discount but whatever I dig the little box. It's my little easy access to my Midol or my Lactaid... Note: If your hunting for vintage clothing FORGET IT... There are some random pieces of clothing but nothing that will jump out at you.... Note: There is a dealer that specializes in vintage and remake appliances... Very retro... Oh, and there is also a jeweler inside as well. read more

I love this place. It is my favorite store on the Circle. Compared to the others, they seem to have the closest thing to reasonable prices. The other reviews cover some of the highlights, but I'll mention my favorite: If you win the lotto and want to buy me a present, I reallyreallyreally covet the red enamel $5,000 O'Keefe antique stove in the front window. Awesome. Once scored a beautiful used 12" cast iron skillet. $14. Smoother than a newborn baby's butt. Still the best cookware in my kitchen not stamped Calphalon. There is a fine line between an antique store and a junk store. Many of the people who rent spaces here flirt with that line. But it's still a great place to spend a few hours and find something fun. read more

This is a store that I can definitely spend some time in. I love to walk through the stalls and browse for cool knick knacks. My recent buys: a tiered dessert tray that I converted into a jewelry holder and a tea plate with a cherry blossom design. I've also previously copped a vintage Chanel bracelet and pearl necklace for a bargain at this store. Looking for antiques in Old Towne Orange is for the most part pricey, but I still enjoy looking for cool finds for cheap. This place is fun. Walk around and look at vintage or current goods. Of all the things I bought a wind chime but it was of a Yorkie for 5 whole dollars. The top has 2 cute yorkie's with bows and around it has 4 little yorkies. My cousin has a Yorkie that she loves very much and I'll be sending this Yorkie wind chime to her. I find the sound of wind chime relaxing but while I was walking around the store with the chime, most of the men were getting annoyed with it. The guy in front said he'll hold it for me. The other male worker said omg, put that thing away, it drives me crazy and another guy said that too. But its fun walking around and browsing. Fun. read more

The funny thing about antique malls to me is the unpredictability of what you will see from one booth to next - what people pull out of their attics and garages, or what they have been spending their lives collecting, and how much they think they could or should get for it. I like to imagine how the "antiques" got there and the profiles of the people who rent space to sell them. For that reason, the stranger the collections the better, and there are a good number of oddities here at Antique Station. That said, I'm not sure that there is a whole lot that I would actually consider buying, even if the browsing is entertaining. I went hoping to find vintage clothing, but there was very little there; I wouldn't recommend this place if you are looking for clothes. If however, you are looking for old postcards, pennants, or license plates from anywhere in the country, or if you want to buy someone's collection of OJ Simpson murder trial memorabilia (including biographies of Kato Kaelin and Marcia Clark; remember when people cared about them??), then this is your place. It's hard to say whether the goods at Antique Station are overpriced because there is considerable variation from one booth to the next. There is some random stuff here that I think is worth seeing, yet "stuff" is definitely the only right word I could use to describe it. read more

I came to this antique station with my son and we had a great time looking at all the little displays. Lots of individual states have left their stuff here for sale. It's a consignment store really and you rent out a booth that's like 10' x 10' and you put prices on your stuff and when they go to the register they know who's stuff It was. read more

I thought this place was pretty blah for what I was looking for (mid-century modern/vintage clothing). However, there was one vendor selling samples of Steady clothing. I scored a brand new with tags pink button up cardigan for $12, marked down from $24 because everything was 50% off. There were some cute rockabilly clothes but most of the sizes were XS because they were samples. Other than that, I didn't see anything I had to have. read more

Browsing antique malls is one of my favorite pastimes. But more than browsing, I love buying more junk/treasures to add to my own collection. Having visited so many antique stores, I know they can be pretty hit or miss at times. This one, unfortunately, felt like a miss to me. The place is big and there's a lot of stalls, but not many of them had anything worth considering a purchase during our visit. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love searching through clutter to find my treasure (I'm not typically a big fan of curated stores that want a fortune for a glorified knick-knack), so this place seemed promising at first glance. But the more time we spent wandering the aisles of jumbled kitchenwares, tattered VHS tapes, and unusable tools, it felt more like a thrift store or garage sale than a vintage dealer. Oh well. I'll probably give it another shot on my next trip to the Orange Circle. read more

What a hidden gem! Probably not as we'll known as Country Roads, but definitely worth a walk through. I was looking for a large wire egg basket and not only did I find it only here (after looking at 2 other antique stores) I found a lot of other great stuff. The manager, Mary, is the most rude person I've ever encountered. She definitely needs to find another profession where she will not be dealing with the public. How she remains a manager is beyond me. Its an effort for her to say hello and if she does speak with you its a total effort on her part. Its as if you are disturbing her . I found my way to the Antique Station today after hitting the weekly (Thursday) farmers market in Old Towne Orange. I was pleased with the selection and variety of antique items and vintage goods. This is one of the larger antique marts here with dozens of vendors selling everything you can imagine. You can find everything from jewelry to glassware to shabby chic items to the coolest refurbished O' Keefe stoves in bright colors. There is also a jeweler on the premises. I would estimate that 80% of the dealers there have signs marking down their merchandise from 10% to 50%, so there are loads of good deals to be found. I ended up buying the following old-fashioned treats: egg poacher, hand-shaped rug beater, metal strainer, candle holder, and a wire basket. Meanwhile, I admired a large metal Coca-Cola sign ($299), a galvinized metal tub ($23), metal plant stands ($12 - $36), French Baker's Rack ($69), candelabra centerpiece ($30) and more. Happy treasure hunting! Update: My latest haul included a hand-thrown clay pot ($10), a Sunkist milkglass juicer in mint condition ($26) and a fancy milkglass cologne flask ($30). I admired some etchings I could not afford at the moment (even with their sale price) at $69. My mother found a Pottery Barn red-and-white quilt in perfect condition for $40. She was thrilled as the retail cost of such a find would be $200. The inventory of antique furniture is sparse but well-priced. Make sure to check out the sidewalk deals on your way into the store. read more

first off,whats with all these 4-5 year old reviews. that 5 star one is a total fake. this place is filthy, the people (mgr) that works there are rude and more concerned w/ stuffing their face. than knowing whats in their store. i left a couple of good offers on items and they never bothered to call me back. no wonder most of the dealers are going out of business. if youre looking for overpriced granny dishes and pure junk, this is for you. sad because the location is good. the owner must not care as long as she gets the dealer rents. read more

I just Love the store & everything in it!! I am always in there purchasing the greatest little trinkets and gifts for friends & family & even stopping sometimes to chat it up with some of the sellers that are re-arranging their cubby/booth. This is why you get 4 stars!! But, I was not a Fan last weekend!! I was in there with my family and was watching and over hearing something very disturbing, from the girls that worked the front counter. They were both speaking to each other and laughing at something or someone. They made it so obvious!! Now, I understand if they had a customer that they had to speak to and they only spoke Spanish, to speak with them. But, they were not helping a customer and they were just going back & forth stating mean comments about a shopper & laughing all out loud to some people that had just walked in. So sad to see this in this store that I love so much! That would just about run ANYONE out of your store!! My niece who knows Spanish fluently told me a just of what was said. So, needless to say, my family & I left. So, with that said my friends we probably won't be back anytime soon!! Sorry Antique Station, but you need your buyers in there to run your business, and if you start to make fun of them and be disrespectful, that will wreck your whole clientele.
