This used to be a great place. The previous owner treated her employees and customers wonderfully. Then Natalya bought it and the place has gone to hell in a handbag. Natalya is a thief. I bought about $700 worth of gift packages for 6 people. Someone who used to work there (she has gone from 16 employees to 2) told her not sell gift cards because she wasn't going to have the staff to perform the services. Two of the gift cards were used by my husband and brother. They had to keep waiting for each other while one person performed the services. Another couple I gave the cards were asked if one could come at 9 am and the other at 3 pm. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED. read more

I went in between working night shifts to have a hair blow-out for a wedding. To be honest, I should have scheduled an updo or haircut. My hair is long, had no layers, and there is a lot of it. The blow-out wasn't anything great, but they just charged $25 which I thought was reasonable. The hairdresser, Ashley, suggest I return for a cut another time. I made an appointment the next week and was so happy! Like a previous poster, I am shy and had no idea what to do with my hair. I normally just go to a cheap place for a trim every few months. Ashley took charge and gave me some awesome layers. She listened to how I need a no-fuss style for work and needed to be able to put it all up. A week later, my boyfriend still keeps telling me how much he loves it. I will definitely go back to her in the future. Then I returned just yesterday for a massage with my best friend. They have a special for June: a couples massage for $100. One thing I didn't like is that they didn't have a changing room, lockers, or showers like some nicer places. They probably don't have the space. They put us in a small dimly lit room with two massage tables and left us to undress. The area to stand in was also small, so it was a little uncomfortable stripping into your panties and hanging all your clothes on the few hooks on the wall. (Where can I put my shoes so they won't trip over them in the dark?!). We had to take turns. The massage itself was so relaxing, I could have fallen asleep. The lotion was nice and not heavily scented. I would go again. read more

Arrived for a pedicure appointment with my sister and they sat us down to soak oil feet and said they'd be with us in a few minutes. THIRTY minutes later, we were sitting there with our feet in cold water wondering what was going on when they walked in and again said it'd be a few more minutes. At that point we left. We made an appointment well in advance and were assured 2 employees would be available to give pedicures at the same time. Not only were they not ready die the appointment, there was only one nail tech and an "assistant" to do 2 pedicures. We will not be returning. read more

Although this was a relatively pricey pedicure, the experience was amazing. My mom and cousin sat in our private room where we had the pedicures completed, I was disappointed by the small selection of colors, but hey, you shouldn't sweat the small stuff. The leg scrub, massage and polish was done very well! I would ask them to make sure your nails are all the same length, if you are particular about that. Overall, wonderfully clean space, welcoming and attentive staff and a job well done. Cheers to here! read more

Seriously overpriced. I've gotten much better pedicures for less money. My polish chipped within a week (and not even on the edge of my toe, but smack dab in the middle). The facial was great, but they didn't really do anything out of the ordinary to justify the price. Meh. read more

Booked 2 pedicure appointments a week in advance. Arrived a few minutes early and we were put in room to soak. 30 minutes later, we were still soaking in now cold water. Nail tech came in to let us know she would be just a few more minutes as she was finishing with prior client. Apparently the single nail tech was going to do both of our pedicures with an "Assistant"!?! awful. We left. We made appointments in advance so we didn't have to wait to start our service. I just had the Full Keratin Treatment on my hair at Antoines by Kristina Garkova. This was the BEST treatment for my hair ever!!! I would highly recommend this for anyone that wants their hair to be smooth and not frizzy. It makes such a substantial difference in the manageability of my hair and its appearance. It is definitely worth the money and time that the treatment takes. I am considering doing this twice a year to keep it looking so healthy and smooth. Kristina is the best hair designer around!! The girls were nice, but the actual pedicure just okay. The massage function on my chair didn't work, and even though I pointed out my callused areas, they weren't paid much attention and I'll have to tackle them myself. The room is small and not very relaxing - not my idea of a spa. Basically, I will either save my money and DYI at home, or try some place else. Definitely not worth the money. read more

I have been getting my hair done for years here! I have moved out of the area- and still make the 30 min drive for perfect color and cut! The staff are friendly and make you feel very comfortable. The prices are mediocre- a bit high, but you get what you pay for! My only complaint is they no longer allow tip to be added to credit card. You need to have cash or write a check... that really cheapens the type of salon by doing that....not something you would expect at a high quality salon. My advice to owner- recommend tips to be cash, for the sake of stylist....but don't make that a standard business practice!! read more

My mom and sister have raved about this place for a long time. And once my hair became unbearable again, I decided to give it a try. I called, hoping for a walk in cut and color with some highlights. No such luck. So, if you want something done that may take some time to do, definitely make an appointment. When I finally got in, I was pleasantly greeted and taken almost right away. The space is very much geared towards the hip crowd, top 40s music playing, mod decorations, the whole 9. But what impressed me about this hair salon is that it was so clean! No hair randomly on the floor, it didn't wreak of hair dye, mirrors wiped, no excess of junk on any of the work stations... My OCD mind was at peace. Now, down to brass tacks. I walked in, not even sure what I wanted! I wanted to be a brunette with some cleaned up layers, that's all I had in mind. So I told the stylist that she could have some creative licence with my hair and left it up to her. I'll make a note here, while she.was working, she was very nice and attempted to talk to me, I'm kind of shy so we didn't talk much, but it seems everyone who works here is friendly. Once I was done 2 hours later? Let me tell you, ladies and gentlemen of Yelp, I walked walked out of that salon a new woman. My hair was the perfect shade of brown for my skin tone, with red brown highlights. Its not something I would have picked for myself, and it looks fabulous! My haircut wasn't too drastic, but she angled my bangs and cleaned up my locks like a pro! Perfect! I have to say that I don't think I could have gotten this kind of quality anywhere else. I've had my hair dyed and cut hundreds of times in my lifetime, but I've never been so pleased! 5 stars! Yes, its expensive, and most salons that are worth the expense are. Totally worth it though. Took my mom here for her 50th birthday. It was her first experience at a spa and I wanted her to feel relaxed and comfortable.I travel in a sort've "non-traditional" group dynamic that always makes me nervous about how we'll be received in certain places (especially since my memories of Cleveland are not so hot on the whole race/socio-economic front), and the staff at Antoine's couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating. The massages were fantastic, the pedicure and manicures top-notch, the staff were friendly and chatty with my mom, and overall helped to make her special day...well, special. It was a great time, and although I don't live in Cleveland any more I will definitely keep this in mind as a place to return to if I need to get pampered during one of my visits. read more

Wanted to take my friend to a really nice place for pedicure. When I called the lady said our prices are a little high but so worth it, so I booked us. To be honest I would never return. The chair my friend was in, the jets in whirlpool only worked on one side. The girl was like "ya, that happens, it might go on while we are doing your pedicure. My chair, the remote to press massage did not work. I asked the girl if I was doing something wrong. She said try pushing 2 buttons, it sometimes works. It never worked. The pedicures were just ok. Neither of the girls were very friendly. I thought the cost was very expensive for service received. Pretty disappointed. read more

This place is literally a scam. I was told by the stylist Ashley before she did anything to my hair that my cost would be $121 and no more. When I left I was charged $167. I told the manager Liz and she was extremely rude and disrespectful and pretty much told me I was lying. Ashley was also extremely rude. Everything that I had asked to be done I had the complete opposite. I literally could have gone to best cuts and had a much better hair cut and dye job for much less. I'll try to make this as short as possible because I hate to waste anymore of my time on this ridiculous business. Went here with a bridal party and the entire expereince was disappointing - to say the least. I had to completely re-due my makeup when I arrived at the brides home. Our hair was falling out within the hour and so we had to have one of the brides friends come out and fix our hair. The employees made us feel rushed and very uncomfortable. I made a comlaint on yelp which the owner saw and did not take the time to reach out to us. . .instead I had to reach out to her. She offered myself and my mother a massage and pedi which clearly doesnt make up for the 300$+ that just myself spent but it was a kind gesture. The bride then made a complaint which promted the owner to recind her offer to me (mind you I had already told my mother about what the owner offered and we planned on making a fun day of it together). The owner then offered the bride 200$ total to split between the entire bridal party (9-10 people). My cousin (Bride) was highly offened especially since the owner did not call her to apologize but instead to tell her everything that our partu did wrong that lead to the terrible service that we received. My cousin is highly sensitive and decided to hangup the phone rather continue to be ridiculed. I then reached out to the owner one last time and requested that she reconsider her offer to my mother and I in which we have not heard a response for several weeks now. Complete waste of money and time. I do not recommend this salon to anyone! Too bad the owner couldnt have had some customer serivce skills andsimply apologized for her employees mistakes rather then blame the customer because we could've all accepted that people make mistakes and moved on. Instead I feel it my duty to make everyone aware of what a terrible salon this is. I do not want anyone to have to go trhough what our bridal party went through. The services provided greatly effected the wedding and it greatly effected the way we all feel up to this very day. I feel like we were ripped off and like we do not matter to the owner. She has our money now and that is all she cares about. I've been to the salon several times - stylist conversation was usually unprofessional and haircuts were less than desired. However massages are amazing. Unfortunately my latest episode with the salon will forever be a deterent. I called on a Weds afternoon to schedule a Friday appointment (intending on using a gift certificate purchased at Christmas). I had to cancel Thursday evening. Since I didn't cancel 72 hours in advance - mind that the appointment wasn't even scheduled that far ahead - the salon is removing $50 service charge from my certificate. I've been going here on and off for a few years for my hair. I always See Ashley and she always does a great job. She has done so many different colors and styles with my hair like blonde highlights, peek a boo highlights, red highlights, trims, layers, bob cuts and more. I have recently started graying at a young age and now I need my roots touched up almost regularly. She picked the most amazing rich dark brown color for my hair. My hair is naturally almost black and she uses a color that isn't too drastically different, but just enough to notice a slight change. I've gotten so many compliments on my hair lately from the last few times I've been there. Just recently, Ashley gave me bayalage highlights which are pretty hot right now and all over Pinterest. I showed her a picture from one of my Pinterest boards and she nailed it. For the first time I was able to come home and my husband actually liked my hair! I never really cared for lightening my hair, but she was able to lift it to a perfect caramel color on top of the rich brown base. I had an ombre before that and the stylist I went to didn't blend it well enough so it didn't look that great. I was hesitant to go down that road again, but Ashley was able to give me an ombre effect by putting more bayalage highlights at the bottom and gradually bring them to the top. She was even using a special blending tool that I've never seen before. Also, while my hair was processing, I have always been offered a drink of water, tea or wine. It did cost me a little on the higher side this last visit, but that is to be expected when getting a root touch up, highlights, cut, blow out and straightened. It was well worth it for all of the compliments I've gotten already and my hair feels healthy and amazing.
