The only good thing I have to say about this place is they have beautiful gowns. But if you need alterations, take it somewhere else. The seamstress only speaks Spanish and the employees, including the owner, Antoinette, only speaks English. Four trips back-and-forth to the store for alterations that were done incorrectly twice because of the lack of communication skills. there is so much more to this but just no worth it. Would not recomend. Got my wedding dress here first off rudest staff I have ever dealt with and made a lot of unnecessary comment one regarding covering my tattoos. We got my dress around November and immediately started rushing the alteration process when my wedding isnt until May. And said "O were closing the store in January" which is obviously a lie since they are now saying they are open until the end of March. This is not the expierence you should get when getting you wedding dress. They are also a cash only store and expect you to pay everything up front. They gave my mom a very hard time when it came to payments. Then acted like we were the bad guy for wanting to take my dress somewhere else. Well with the Blonds attitude that works there they will continue to loose a lot of customers. I will happily do my alterations at Davids Bridal where they are actually friendly to customers and will take their time getting my dress done right. Only positive with this place is the dress I got. So my advice would be stay away and find a better bridal shop where they actually care. read more

I would like to thank both Ann and Justine for all the time and patience during our visit to the establishment. Bite my mom and myself went in looking for gowns for my daughters wedding. After trying on approx.25 dresses,(because I really didnt know what I wanted). I decided on a champagne covered gown and my mom got an aqua and beaded gown. After returning home and showing my daughter a pic of the dress, she stated she didnt limew the dress at all. I returned the following Friday and they both were so understanding.Both my mom and I bought different dresses and got fitted the same day! They are the best! I took my 14 yr. old granddaughter here for her 8th grade semi. What a mistake! I like to support local merchants, so first we went to Nicole's Bridal. Wonderful experience and atmosphere. Unfortunately, she didn't find anything to her liking. Then we went to Antoinette Rose, totally lacks curb appeal and inside not much better. All that could be overlooked if it were made up in customer service which is totally lacking. Of course, she found a dress here that she absolutely loved. I explained, we would have to come back for her mother's approval( my daughter). I found the owner to be kind of rude and not very personable, but I kept this to myself, not sharing with my daughter. Maybe she had a bad day. Now my daughter goes and tells me she wasn't happy with the owners attitude and now I tell her I felt the same way. But her daughter loved the dress, so it was ordered. Measurements were taken, she goes back for a fitting two weeks later and dress is not even close to fitting. The owner has the audacity, in front of a 14 year old girl to say it doesn't fit because she gained weight. It was so far off from fitting, she would have had to gain 15-20 lbs in two weeks,I don't think so. Even if this were true, it's not something you say to a teenage girl. Wouldn't shop here if it were the last store in Brick and definitely would not recommend Antoinette Rose to anyone. read more

ruined my wedding dress experience as a bride. dreaded every time I needed to go there for fitting. multiple seamstresses work on dresses & they don't communicate with each other. owner will blame you for the mistakes stating that she is "doing you a favor" by altering your purchased dress. It astonishes me that this place is still in business considering how rude and unprofessional the the owner is. The seamstress said she would accommodate my schedule but forgot and then told the owner that I was lying. When I spoke to the owner she was incredibly unprofessional, aggressive, and for lack of any better adjectives a complete bitch! She said if I wanted her to stay a little late to allow me to pick up my dress that I needed for the next day, that I had to pay for her babysitter. The two options she left me were she crould leave my dress outside the store on the door or I could pick it up in the morning which would ultimately make me late for the wedding! So, she left the dress outside with a note saying kindness goes a long way! She should take her own advice! I would not recommend this place unless you enjoy being treated poorly! read more

Rudest "service" in my life. I am a bridesmaid and I needed a hem, a re-sewn hook, and shoes dyed to match my dress. The first appointment went just fine, but nasty chaos ensued at my second appointment. I arrived on time to find the hem done, the hook not sewed and my shoes being dyed! On a tight schedule and working out of state, this obviously upset me. Not only do the shoes take hours to dry, but they will stain anything they touch (bright red)! The owner comes trampling down the stairs saying the ladies (salesperson and seamstress) said I was being fresh and she told me "CUT THE TUDE!!!" I said I had an appointment and the services were not performed, to which she made excuses and said "I can't wave a magic wand!! What do you want to do?!" They said I didn't even buy the dress there, as though me paying $75 for alterations was a favor to myself. I had to make multiple trips to the car with everything on hangers and in garbage bags. Why not call my cell and tell me they needed time? I was expecting a small apology, and perhaps a small discount for the inconvenience, but instead what I got was a completely unprofessional response devoid of any accountability with Real Housewives-style flair from an inept business owner who would benefit from Charm School and Customer Service 101. read more

I went here to have my mothers wedding dress restored to wear for my vow renewal. Not only was the service so amazing and the owner so kind and helpful but the seamstress who worked with me couldn't have been more amazing. We had so much fun working together to make the dress fit and look great. I loved it so much that I then brought my grandmothers 60 year old wedding gown in to have that restored and what they were able to do, blew me away. What they were able to do to a dress that was in a ball, in the attic, in a chest for over 50 years was simply amazing. I also got all of my accessories there as well and ended up buying another dress to wear on our trip. The styles there are fabulous and there is something for everyone and all ages from prom to mother of the bride or groom. I simply can not say enough wonderful things about this place and the incredible service. I will go back in the next time I have a black tie affair and I know I will find something amazing. read more

This place is a JOKEEEEE!!!!! First of all, my cousin bought a dress in here for over $500!!! Gorgeous gown. She had this place do the alterations and they BOTCHED the gown!!!! Cut too short and the slip underneath the gown was showing!!! The seamstress said to her mother when they brought the dress back "if you know so much about sewing why didn't you just do the alterations?!" UNREAL! Then, my sisters best friend went for a gown and the seamstress botched another gown!!! Too short! To add to all of this, my own sister went for fitting today and was unhappy and crying! She was alone at first but then called me and my mom to come meet her! We get there and the OWNER says "how are you today" and I responded "not great"! She lost her mind!! So rude! She says "I'm not going to tolerate rudeness and yelling in my store and if that continues you can leave. She chose this dress it's not my fault she doesn't like it!" UNBELIEVABLE!! Horrific customer service and the owner was completely unprofessional! Unacceptable and I'll never shop here ever again! I was in there with a friend a few months back , both of us are engaged . I brought my toddler and she brought her baby...and we were eyed up and down from the time we walked in. We were respectful and either the children were in stollers or being held the whole time. I feel like we werent helped at all and were being judged . I know both of us look young and my attire of ripped jeans combat boots don't help, but little do they know I'm a local business owner who also works in the wedding industry. We were told about upstairs and followed . I brought my bridesmaids dress with me hoping to find somewhere to alter it seeing as I am out of state and the wedding was in 4 days. A friend of mine recommended Antoinette Rose. I called and they said they were closing but asked what I needed. I told them my situation and they told me they would stay. The owner antoinette was very nice, she pinned my dress and made an appointment for me to come back the next day. My alterations were perfect and my dress was pressed for no charge. I had gone here for my prom dress last year and it was easy and the employees that helped me were friendly and kind. So after seeing a video on Facebook of a poor bride to be who was mistreated by the owner of the store, I still decided I would go back again for my senior ball dress. Two months ago I asked if they could order a dress that I had loved last year but was out of my budget at the time so I could try it on and make sure it was still what I wanted and they told me it would be in by the end of February and they would call me. It is March 20 and after having a wonderful experience at David's bridal I decided to continue my dress search to where I bought my dress last year and to ask about when the dress I had ordered would be in. The owner was very nasty toward me as she told me that if I wanted the dress I would have to put down a half deposit (this is probably over $250). They never called me to tell me the dress wouldn't be coming in and they were very nasty even AFTER all of the awful things being said about them online. DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS STORE!! I purchased an $800.00 dress from Antoinette Rose and decided to get my alterations done there, the seamstress gave me a price and we were set to go. Came back several weeks later for my first fitting and when I got there the owner was beyond rude and was not professional at all and was upset that my relatives previously came in there and tried on dresses and decided not to get them and instead go to castle couture (very childish), so she decided to take it out on me. Right on the spot she changed the price of the alterations after her store already told me a price. I sent my mother in their the next day to see what was going on with my $800.00 dress because I was very confused from my first fitting and was to intimidated to ask the owner anything. When my mom came in the owner attacked my mother, did not give my mom a chance to talk and she accused my mother of being like my relatives. She called my mom and grandmother "yous people" and said "anyone from your community is not welcomed in my store" and made several more racist comments that I am not comfortable saying on here. She still charged my mom and me $200. for the alterations that they never did! My mom payed the $200. in fear because my mom thought the owner was going to hit her that is how furious she was. So now my mom is stopping payment on the $200. and I will not stop until everyone knows how terrible this store is and VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. DO NOT GO THEIR. read more

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with this shop at all and would not recommend it! I found a dress for my daughter's wedding and ordered it. When they took my measurements for ordering, I questioned why they were ordering a size 18 when I normally where a 12 or 14, they assured me that the dress runs small and it was necessary to order a larger size. They also told me that if I needed it taken in a little that they had someone who could do alterations. Well, when the dress came in and I went to try it on, it was HUGE! The top of the dress practically fell off of me and the bottom was a out 4 inches to big. The young girl working that day said it could easily be fixed by the woman who does their alterations. It was too late to order a smaller size! I was so upset when I left but after thinking about it I went back and picked up the dress and took it elsewhere for alterations. I will never recommend this shop to anyone. read more
