Coming from Panama, my mom has always made authentic Columbian cuisine since I was young. Antojitos is as close as you'll get to authentic Colombian food here in the state of NH. The empanadas are a must have, and the chicharron is mouthwatering. The owner is clearly passionate about what he does and you can see that when ordering here, offering advice on what to get and overall very kind and funny guy. The place is small and has a few tables but is mostly used as a takeout spot however if you can't wait to eat you can sit down and dig in right away! Manchester needed a wonderful Spanish restaurant. So happy they opened! Everything is made in house from scratch. I should start by saying the food was absolutely 5 stars. Let me explain the issue that occured. They did charge me for everything I ordered but didn't give me all my food. When I called back she said "Come in 5 minutes to get the empanadas." I said "But I ordered arepas too" and she said "Next time you come in I'll give you them for free, no charge." I'm not sure why getting the arepas today wasn't an option but there was a slight language barrier. And they won't be free/no charge because I already paid for them already today. The take-out menu has more listed than the board has when you walk in, so the employee offered me the take-out menu with the extra offerings. I ordered the Calentado Columbian Breakfast Plate (comes with rice, beans, fried egg, plantains, corn cake with cheese, and steak. I added chorizo to get both beef and sausage.) I seemed to have gotten chicharron/fried pork belly too although I didn't request this. The food was absolutely delicious! I also got a guava water which was also very tasty and refreshing. I also ordered 2 cheese arepas, a beef empanada, and a chicken empanada. I was charged for them but never recieved them so I cannot speak to how they are. I know she knew I ordered them because she wrote down my order and read it back to me after I ordered. They have 3 tables to eat at if you don't want your food to go. Many were calling in their orders as I waited for mine to be prepared. I went on a Sunday afternoon. I was the only one there and then all of a sudden they got busy fast! It took 20 minutes for my food to be ready but since it's all from scratch I didn't mind the wait. I will go back and get my empanadas and arepas another day. I'll update my review then. I'm hopeful there won't be any further mistakes with my orders. So in the meantime, I recommend them but would encourage you to check your bag before driving home. Went to pick up a DoorDash order for a customer. The man at the counter told me they don't do DoorDash and started getting angry. My app told me to pickup an order from their establishment. He kept repeating 4 days he'd been with the company and they don't do DoorDash in broken English. Obviously they do if I got an order. Oh well, looks like they lost themselves business. read more

It's obvious from the second you walk in the owner's serious about his food. This is bona fide Columbian food outta Bogota straight to the back alleys of Manchester. Ecstatic that this place opened in Manchester!! As I was running some errands I decided to randomly look up Colombian food and this place popped up. I sped over and found street parking and ran in, I was in awe because I'm originally from NJ and we are spoiled with cuisine from all over the world. I decided to go with their "Lunch special" which was $11, it came with white rice, steak, beans, plantains, and their special salad. It was sooooooo good, honestly I could have had it for two meals but I enjoyed it so much I ate it all in one!!! The steak was rich in flavor, the rice was really moist and fresh, the beans had delicious juice that enhanced the rice and beans combo. Finally, I ordered coffee and it was great too! Today, I returned with my roommate because honestly I cant get enough. We ordered from their breakfast menu and it was also amazing. I had "Calentado" with chorizo, my other roommate "Calentado" with chicken (yes, they can switch your meat!) and my other roommate "Huevos Pericos con Arepa". We sat down and waited for a good 15-20 min because it is all made fresh and right there so definitely worth it if you want fresh food. Again, they gave us so much that we had to take it home, which is amazing for the quality of the food and the price. We also ordered coffee and "Jugos Naturales", all enjoyed the natural juices, we got lulu, guava, and papaya! In my humble opinion and as a Latinx person who has tried many Latinx restaurants in New England, this place is great, for their prices and how much delicious food they give you! The only set backs of this restaurant which aren't really bad, they're new to this business so it takes them a while to get you your food ready which isn't a big deal if you order in advance and pick up! Found this through Yelp, traveling in the area. Originally from Miami, we love Latin food, and Columbian is a personal favorite. Small place with 3 tables, although they may not let you dine in during COVID. Full menu, including breakfast, with lots to choose from. The food is made to order and served hot and fresh. Ordered breakfast thru Doordash this morning. OMG - this is the most delicious thing I've tasted in a long time. I had the calentado, which I ordered with chorizo, but they subbed pork instead (after calling to ask me if it was ok). The pork was pounded nice and thin and was deliciously seasoned, the rice and beans were delicious, the plantains were perfect, the portions were sengerous (to say the least), and that hot sauce that comes on the side was AMAZING. The food here was incredible!! We got the beef arepa and Colombian platter. The arepa was not what I expected, it wasn't a Venezuelan style arepa kind of shaped like a hamburger, it was much larger and had a TON of really delicious spiced meat sautéed with onions and peppers and aromatics piled on top of it. And the platter was an amazing combination of sweet plantains, fried pork belly, sausage, fried eggs, steak, avocado, and really delicious rice. We really wanted to like this place, but it was so disappointing! Not sure how this place got such good reviews, but the food quality and portion sizes are awful compared to other Colombian restaurants I have been to (and have been to many). The bandeja paisa was mostly rice like what you would get from Chinese takeout (no Colombian sazon), with very thin pieces of meat (pork chop, an unappetizing looking "steak" that looks like something my dog would eat, chorizo, an overcooked egg, and a couple very thin maduros. No avocado or chicharron or beans that are standard for bandeja paisa. Tostones with steak was also disappointing - a few tiny slices of fried plantain, and unrecognizable meat pieces that smell terrible. The meat was very tough for both dishes, ended up feeding to the dog because I lost my appetite. The empanadas tasted pretty good but they are TINY for the price. Sticker shock for what we paid for lunch versus what we got - it was a giant ripoff. The restaurant was hot and sticky and very uncomfortable. The furniture is nowhere close to "authentic" typical Colombian restaurants and also uncomfortable, and the entire establishment looks very dirty. Service was very disorganized. Not sure if this place is under new management or if it is a lack of help, but the food quality does not AT ALL reflect typical Colombian value and flavor of food. read more

This was my first time trying Colombian food, and I was completely blown away by the taste. To start: this restaurant is definitely designed as a take out spot. They do have a few tables to sit at, but there is no public restroom. The restaurant offers sodas in a case, and a few different Colombian drink options as well. I went in on a Friday for lunch, and was one of two patrons in the restaurant. A gentleman who I assume was one of the owners was having a very animated conversation in Spanish with the other customer, but I felt very comfortable walking in and placing an order. After looking at the menu, I chose the Bandeja Paisa, which was described as a Traditional Colombian Platter. I chose chicken, and I can tell you in retrospect I made a phenomenal choice. As I was waiting, the owner came over and asked me if I would like a cup of coffee while I waited, which I humbly declined, but the offer was fantastic. It shows that they really care about the comfort of their customers. The food is completely made to order, so I would expect a wait if you order one of the plates. There are empanadas and pastels which I would expect to come out faster. After about 10-15 minutes, my food was wrapped up and ready to go. I specifically asked about salsas to go with the food, and was presented with two options, a verde salsa and a white cream sauce. The woman working the grill asked me to choose my favorite, and let her know which I preferred next time I came in. I love the personal touches that a simple takeout place can offer! By the time I got home to eat, my mouth was completely watering from the smells that were coming out of the bag. The plate comes with: beans in a soup on the side, extremely flavorful chicken stock cooked white rice, two fried eggs, a piece of avocado, a fried piece of possibly corn batter?, a beautiful piece of fried pork belly(chicharron), maduro sweet plantains, and the chicken. Every item on the plate was a complete flavor bomb! The rice and beans were some of the best I have ever had, I dumped the soup over the rice which was perfect. The eggs definitely continued cooking while I was transporting the food, so they were a little over done for my taste, but that is definitely not the restaurants fault, and I like runny eggs. Still tasted great. The avocado added a nice balance of fat against the tang of the salsas, the fried component created a perfect crunch and the plantains had a subtle yet perfect sweetness. That being said, the stars of the show were the pork belly and the chicken. The chicharron was superb, not overly fried, but crunchy and deeply rich. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and had great seasoning. Paired with the salsas, which I will not be able to pick a favorite between, they were heavenly. The meal was definitely not cheap, $15.00 for lunch is pretty expensive for a take out place, but it was a great introduction to Colombian food. I am looking forward to going back and trying more of the items on the menu! Way TL;DR, Great food, with a home cooked feel. Wait can be a little long, but that is because the food is cooked fresh. Not only was the food fantastic, but the owners were wonderfully kind and helpful. We went on a Saturday night and ate at one of the small tables in house. We started with an empanada, which was crispy and light on the outside and delicious on the inside. The Maduros con Queso was great and definitely not greasy as might be expected from being fried and then covered in cheese. The Chicharron...well what's not to like about that! And it came with fried green plantains, which proved to be an excellent base for some of the rest of the food we ordered. The Bandeja Paisa (with chicken) had everything you'd want from that restaurant all on one plate. If you are only ordering one thing, make it this (and I'm sure the beef option would be equally fantastic)! It was huge...the chicken was tender and flavorful, and came with rice and beans, an egg, plantain, sausage, and avocado. The spice on the beef in the Carne Asada was delicious! It also came with rice and beans, and sliced tomatoes. After packing our to-go boxes, the owner came out with a dish of rice pudding for us to try. They don't sell it on the menu, but they absolutely should!! It was thick and sweet (but not overly so) and contained plump raisins and a great cinnamon flavor.
