The food and atmosphere is homey and authentic any time I come. Amazing tacos one of the best. Hope it comes back.

I went to this place for the first time recently based on the good reviews I saw. When I walked in it was empty and the lady behind the counter looked at me as if I shouldn't be there so I kindly asked if they were open and she said yes. 1st impression not so good in my opinion. I said I would like to place an order to go and she grabbed her pad. I ordered the following menu items so we could give them a try and see if they compared to our favorite Mexican place. 1st I said I'd like to get the Mexican Steak and I had to point at the menu item-the lady said NO, I said ok can I get the Steak Ranchero she said ok then I said with NO beans, she repeated no beans to me, I said yes, then she said ok. 2nd I said I would like the Solocarne Fajitas-I asked if I could do half chicken half beef she said NO, I said ok-then she said ok. 3rd I said I would like the guacamole and she said NO. 4th I said I would like to order some tacos. I said I want 2 chicken tacos, she said ok, I then said I want 2 steak tacos, she said ok and lastly I said I would like 2 Chorizo tacos, she said ok. She went to get the food ready. Without getting into details of watching that circus and having the uncomfortable silence I waited roughly 30 minutes while she heated up the food (she pulled all of it from her fridge and or her condiment station. I got the food and headed home so we could try it out again based on good reviews. The steak Ranchero steak was pale in color which told me either it was old or it was boiled either way it was terrible and chewy. I had said no bean I got beans which were gross along with the incredibly dried out rice. The Solocarne Fajitas steak was like the bits you get from the grease trap and chewy/fatty. The rice was just as dry as mine and the beans were gross. Even the veggies weren't good. Instead of 6 tacos we got just 4-2 chicken 1 steak and 1 chorizo. Not sure if I was charged for 6 or not because I was never given a detailed receipt. The taco shells were so dry we tossed them out, all the meat was so dry we didn't finish! The only thing that seemed good was the cilantro. This place in my opinion is terrible so I am very surprised at all the good reviews but to each their own. read more

Being from California, I've had a hard time finding a taqueria in NH that lived up to what you can find in CA. But I have finally found a taqueria that satisfies my street taco cravings. The inside is very nice and cozy, and everyone here is so friendly. I love their lengua tacos and will be back for more. Their horchata was amazing too, poured in a huge cup and just the right sweetness. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. read more

People - 10/10 Food - 7/10 Drinks - na Decor - 7/10 Restrooms - (didn't use) I was looking for a new favorite taco spot and came across this place because it looked like it had really good tacos. When I ordered and when I went to pick up the food the staff was super friendly and inviting. The location is a little hidden but that just adds to the fun factor. I got Two chicken tacos and one fish taco and the chicken torta. The tacos were good but I don't know if they're my favorite and going to replace my favorite. So I think the search still continues there. The chicken torta was better tasting in my opinion. I look forward to trying other foods there read more

Local Mexican food perfection. Incredibly kind staff, great food, fair prices. Will absolutely be back. They do accept all credit cards The credit card machine doesn't leave a tip column for you to sign so either let them know you need to add a tip, or have some cash for the jar. This place is a pretty well kept secret if you don't live in the area. The food is great and sometimes the service can be a bit slow if only one person is cooking. Also you may get a limited menu if one person is working, just a heads up. With that being said, the food is worth the wait. It is made with love and everyone is super friendly. Note that you have to order at the counter, so don't expect table service. I don't speak much Spanish but I enjoyed watching the Mexican drama that was on the tv. First off: this place is CASH ONLY. I've been living in Manchester for a year and a half, and I'm upset I just discovered this place. The manager and employees are very friendly. They made sure my friend and I felt comfortable and at home. I'm a Latina from California, and this place is authentic to the T. The tacos de carne asada are delicious. The music was fine with me, but if you easily get annoyed with loud music, the manager is kind, so you can ask him to turn it down. The crowd is predominantly a Latinx crowd, which means it's a friendly atmosphere. If you think anything else, then that's your problem. read more

I went back for lunch on the weekend and the atmosphere was a bit different. The jukebox was blaring raggaeton really loud. The folks behind the counter were less fluent in English. While we were waiting for our food, a crown vic drove up the alley adjacent to the shop and backed into one of three parking spaces. Out of the crown vic came five pachucos. When they strolled into Begy's I got the distinct impression they were giving me the hairy eyeball. The food, however, was still good and cheap, so I'll be back on the weekend. Fresh made tacos, a nice patio, and friendly owners with a sense of humor about their music selection. Seriously, I think that they started playing Michael McDonald after they saw a bunch of gringos walk up to the store. Maybe to make us feel more comfortable? I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. Currently eating a vegetarian diet, I've found it hard to find places to get good vegetarian fair, but the veritable/beans/rice burrito they have made me is really delicious. Every component of the burrito has a unique, scrumptious flavor to it. The rice, the beans, the cheese, the veggies are all very flavorful.
