We were in Manhattan for a sports event and found this restaurant on yelp with reviews saying it's like west coast Mexican. I would give it 10 stars for the Huarache (big tortilla with beans, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, avocado, cheese and meat. We got it with birria beef and inhaled it- it was sooooo good. The other entree was taquitos and they were good but not great. The chips and salsa were also not my favorite, nothing special. I would def come back to try more menu items when we're in town again. The service was very good and prices reasonable.

I loved them when they were a taco truck and I love them still as a restaurant. (Located near Dairy Queen now) I was hesitant about the new location but my hubs and I just gave it a try and we LOVED our food and my margarita. We're from San Diego California so that says something. Give it a try! It looks a lot nicer on the inside than I thought as well fyi!

First time here. Amazing customer services. The cashier she politely explain the menu patiently... food from the other customer around smells so delicious. The burrito is huge. Order beef burrito for $8.50 plus 3 different taco (beef, chicken and tongue). Taco is good. Burrito is okay but super huge ... lol

Today was my first time trying, coming from California and a Hispanic myself this place hit home. The tacos were so good, meat had good flavor nice and chopped how I like it I got asada, and the red salsa was really spicy how I like it. Also got a burrito that was big for the price and husband got a torta. Horchata was so good and the people who work their not sure if they are the owners are nice. Definitely will be coming back whenever I'm craving good Mexican food !

A former coffee shop. No indoor seating, but a couple small tables and decent parking.

Visiting from Texas and more so, growing up in El Paso, I was not expecting much from any so-called Mexican food joint, especially one located in the north eastern part of Kansas, but I was pleasantly surprised and extremely impressed with the fare. We walked into a brightly lit restaurant with a few booths and tables and several vibrantly painted murals on the walls. Marta was our server and she was quick and efficient. If you look up hustling in the dictionary, I'm sure you'll find a picture of her. She was amazing, friendly and accommodating. I looked over the menu and was surprised to see such items as carne guisada and chile Colorado. I opted for the flautas which stated that they were made with flour tortillas (a Tex-Mex indicator). In my neck of the woods, flautas are made with corn tortillas so I was preparing myself for a little disappointment, but when my meal came out I was happily surprised to find that they were actually made with corn tortillas. They were delicious, perfectly crispy and the shredded chicken was flavorful. We did have to order a side of rice and beans, which seemed odd, typically flautas come on a plate WITH rice and beans in my experience so that did add to our bill. I suggest you make sure you read what is actually included and don't just assume. The rice and beans however, were extremely flavorful and authentic. My son usually eats about 1/2 the rice & bean sides, but he plowed through both leaving me with sadly, but a few bites. My husband ordered some green chile chicken enchiladas and said they spectacular. I hope we see Marta next time we're in town, because she made the entire experience memorable. I'm excited, we found an authentic Mexican restaurant that truly holds up to its name.

I'm a big fajitas fan and often order a variation of that at any Mexican restaurant we visit, and the Alambre fajitas might have just become my favorite I've EVER had. They were delicious! We also enjoyed the Pollo Hawaiano and a side of Elotes Street Corn. Mi Tierra had a hole-in-the-wall vibe that I loved with great service and even better food. If you're looking for your fix for some delicious Mexican food, look no further than Mi Tierra.
