This place was so delicious. The food came out and it looked so good I forgot to take a picture before I finished it. I had the popusas were soooo good. My husband got the chicken sopes and he loveddd them. 10/10 definitely recommend. The staff was super nice and friendly and the vibes were very cute and peaceful.

Incredible find in Fort Davis! Excellent homemade pupusas, quesadillas, tacos and more! I ordered the asada tacos which came 4 to a plate in corn tortillas with a green salsa.. very fresh and flavorful.. street style size. They have picnic tables in front along the road. Ladies were super friendly and service was fast! Highly recommend! Friends loved their pupusas and quesadillas too.

it used to be flautas and corn.

Forgot to take pictures of the pupusas because we ate them so fast! But we got bean, cheese, & chicken then a bean, cheese & beef pupusa. They were both very good and a really good size! They came with a small bag of slaw and a small cup of salsa. The ladies working were very sweet and loved talking to us. We were just visiting the area and so glad we stopped by.

    Huarache.

Delicious! Delicious! Really good food. Fresh food. Super friendly. Super helpful I had the Burrito in the morning and the huarache for dinner. Both were delicious.

Flautas with refried beans, salsa, lettuce, sliced avocado and pico de gallo.

Food was delicious! Limeade was refreshing and saved some for the next day too. We had a mix of pupusas and huaraches.

The food truck is conveniently located by the patio where you enjoy your wine. I've visited the winery twice now and both it and the Too Hot for TABC food truck are a permanent stop on the itinerary I plan to Marfa. The food they're serving up over there is legit some of the best I've ever had from a food truck and I'm still thinking about the amazing sandwich I had the last time I was there. It was a daily special but it needs to be a full time item. Hopefully if you're lucky they'll have it for you - prosciutto, brie, and some amazing jams. If you're not lucky, however, the award winning burger is always a delicious choice and the charcuterie board perfectly compliments an afternoon of drinking wine. Don't visit the winery without sampling some of the yummy dishes being served up at Too Hot for TABC!

We stumbled upon this place after driving through Fort Davis and deciding we were hungry. The burgers were amazing- made fresh, crispy on the outside and pink on the inside, and the veggies were crisp and fresh. The joint is a food truck, served out of an airstream, with seating at the winery. Just go- you won't be disappointed. The winery was awesome and staff super friendly. I enjoyed the dogs sitting at my feet, waiting on a crumb to drop. I will most definitely come back next time we are out this way. Would love to sample the wine - had to abstain this time around.

I got the relleno- I wish I had asked if it had meat in it (it was just cheese) but it was FABULOUS. The enchiladas and chips were also excellent, and my hubby (who is not easy to please) LOVED his double meat cheeseburger basket. The Alcove up in Alpine should learn how to make burgers like this!! We sat outside on the patio- perfect weather. I do wish people would stop taking their dogs to eating places..... not everyone enjoys dog noises and dog dirt and dog hair while they eat. (Not the restaurant's fault at all.... Just doesn't seem courteous to those who prefer eating in the fresh air, without animals around.)

That's a rarity these days, and I'm sure the IRS and local school district are getting all that's due to them. (Not really.) I'm an out-of-towner, and I stopped here for lunch before heading back south. The food and service were good. Not great. Indeed everyone was friendly, and there was enough gooey cheese to float a battleship. The "frozen" beer mug was actually a plastic mug, which is horse hockey. If I'd known better, I would've saved the dishwasher some trouble and just sipped from the bottle. Back to the food... The cheese enchiladas here are divine. They're gooey, and the red sauce is wonderful. The hard corn tacos are fine ... nothing special. Same thing with the rice and beans. -- Mexican rice in these parts has been wet at every restaurant. I'm used to dry Mexican rice. (And I was taught by a Mexican abuela how to make proper Mexican rice.) But I digress. Chips here are marginal. Hopefully, they come in on a truck, because they hardly taste like they are fried in the kitchen. The salsa, while served cold (which is proper) is a little too chunky for my taste, although it has a nice bite to it. The locals eat here. Good for them, because this place is decent. But also bad for them, because restaurants like this one should breed some decent competition ... even in a tiny town such as Alpine. Also, bad for them because this place only accepts cash, which most people don't carry these days. (Yes, we had cash, but the six ladies at the adjacent table didn't.)

The chicken had no flavor at all and the dish was very soupy. The server said "that's the way they serve it". That's fine, but wife couldnt eat it. The plate was barely eaten and the server offered no recourse. It was wasted. Then the cashier came over, whom I believe to be ownership, and told us we could come to the counter to check out. We showed her the uneaten plate and she just looked at us and said she would charge only 50%. Since it was barely touched, I feel it should have been totally removed from the bill, but what is $7.00 among friends. She really acted as she didnt care. Chips were store bought and cold. Salsa was very good, but was cold as if it had come straight from the refrigerator. I had a bowl of beans and they were "weird". We paid and left. Needless to say, we will not be back. I suppose it's the manner in which the whole situation was handled and the demeanor of the staff.
