The food is fantastic. I recommend it "eyes closed". They sell healthy food too. Unfortunately, they don't open on Sunday

We started with several appetizers: Cajun Fried Chicken Wings, Fried Calamari, Cajun Catfish, and Cajun Crispy Shrimps (we ordered the shrimp twice because they were that good). Everything came out hot, crispy, and full of flavor. For the main course, we ordered the Seafood Cajun Boil with shrimp, mussels, and clams. We tried three different sauces: Original Garlic Butter Sauce Rustic Cajun Sauce Dynamite Sauce All three sauces were delicious and packed with flavor, making the seafood even better. The service was above and beyond. The manager and staff were very nice, attentive, and friendly, which made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.

Overall experience was good but here are some pointers. The all you can eat on Tuesdays: Only shrimp, crawfish, mussels and clams. Nothing else. If you want potatoes, eggs, sausage or corn::: is all extra. You can add lobster or crab for an additional fee as well. Other offers they have: Free snow crab all day Wednesdays AYCE brunch 12-4 pm Sundays Cool laid back ambience and overall good experience... but the $25 ayce is misleading. The bill for 2 was $110 with tip.

She was such a sweet lady towards us. Had us smiling and laughing often throughout the night. She proved us with any answers we needed. We decided to go with the Combo #1. We loved the fact that you can substitute. Neither of us like clams, so we substituted it for 1/2 lb of snow crab legs. We added eggs, broccoli and corn (You can choose 3 sides). Everything came out nice and hot. One thing that we found different with the boil is that the sauce look like gravy. We mentioned that to Si and she stated that it is like that sov it is thick enough to stick to the food items. Honestly, it was flavorful...weird, but flavorful lol. We enjoyed everything about our experience. Thank you Sarah and Si.

The shrimp were tender and juicy, the crab legs were packed with flavor, and those black mussels were incredibly fresh and delicious. Can't wait to go back for another round! When you are there as for Sarah to be your server, she was sharp and friendly and even supplied me with a hair tie so my hair would be out of the way!

We really had never tried Ceviche before, but the online menu really looked spectacular. Our waitress was Angie, and she was fantastic. Such a great personality, and she went out of her way to explain all the details before we ordered. It's actually disappointing that we are just passing through and may never go back, because I would seriously like to try every last item. Rather than bore you with the list of everything we ordered, I'll share what we considered to be the best of the best. CALAMARI... we both love calamari, and we have eaten this dish at many different places. This was the best ever. Perfect. CEVICHE DE SALMON EN CANASTA DE TOSTON... seriously one of the most delicious things I have ever put in my mouth. While we did order both the ceviche camaron and the ceviche trio mixto, the hands-down winner, no questions asked, was the CEVICHE DIVINO. We finished with the TORTA DE CHOCOLATE and the smoothest, creamiest cup of coffee ever. My wife is a chocolate cake expert, and while I was finishing all the ceviche, she was having an out of body experience with the cake. I have to say that while we are borderline foodies and love cooking and eating, we probably are not the most adventurous. So glad today was different, and so thrilled with our decision to eat here. 10/10

Always get a side of white rice because those sauces deserve it. ;) I usually stick with the Cajun sauce. The garlic butter is a little too oily for me, but the Cajun sauce is chef's kiss. The shrimp, clams, and crab are always A1. I usually skip the lobster, because every time I get it: rubberrrryy. The restaurant is clean, the staff is super friendly, and the shrimp étouffée is seriously underrated. As for parking... it's Brickell. Good luck and God bless. I just walk there. We ordered the Zen mojito and Miami sunshine. I really enjoyed the latter. Choosing which lobster or yellowtail from the ice counter you want them to prepare, and how you want it prepared, is a fun part of the dining experience for us. Occasionally they have hog snapper or another fresh catch available. The fried lobster tail was fantastically seasoned with a little kick, and I've never had it prepared this way, chopped up into bite-sized pieces. Very filling and we could have shared one, but we still managed to devour both tails and left very full and satisfied. Each tail, including one side, was about $40 - but market price items vary based on size and weight of what's available that day. There are also plenty of less expensive options on the menu. One of my favorites is the yellowtail sandwich. And if you get there before 7:00pm you can order some oysters and lobster croquettes from the happy hour menu. Captain Jim's is a casual and comfortable restaurant with marine decor where the food is the star. Service is always friendly, helpful, and attentive.

They also have a small dining area with a bar in the middle and a decent-sized enclosed patio. We choose to sit out on the patio. We were lucky enough to get the piano table. The restaurant, as you would guess, serves mostly seafood, but also has burgers, soups, salads, and steak. They also have an unpublished kids' menu and happy hour specials. They also have live music on weekends; luckily, we missed it. I heard that it can get loud, and we were just getting over a cruise hangover. My kids got the pasta and the steak kids' meals. I got the Snapper Sandwich. Our food was ready in less than 10 minutes and was very hot. I will say that they have large portions. Our food was ok. Nothing special. My kids did not finish their food and said that it was just mahhhhhh. My sandwich was the same. It was very greasy and not much to write home about. I also got a side of sweet plantains, and they were really good. Our server was very attentive and friendly. He was very busy and kept up with the pace. I would say that this restaurant is actually a 3.5-star joint, but since that is not an option, I will say that it is closer to a 3 than a 4 based on the food. If you are in the area and looking for some seafood, i would probably give this spot some consideration.
