I rarely leave negative reviews, but I was extremely disappointed by my experience. I asked the manager if I could sit outside and order two of the most expensive platters on the menu. The manager stated that customers could not sit outside because they had experienced people walking out without paying their tabs in the past. I immediately offered to pay for my entire order in advance to address that concern, but my request was still denied. What made the situation even more confusing was that there appeared to be open seating available outside. I was told that the owner has a policy that no one is allowed to eat outside, regardless of whether they have prepaid. As a business owner myself, I believe customer service should involve finding reasonable solutions when possible. I offered to pay in full before receiving any food, yet no accommodation was made. The interaction left me feeling unwelcome and unfairly treated. I cannot say for certain what motivated the decision, but the experience was disappointing enough that I chose to leave without ordering. I hope management takes a closer look at how customers are treated and whether their policies are being applied consistently to everyone. Every time I'm in Miami I always go out of my way to come to Cajun Boil! One of the most delicious seafood boils I've ever had, and the service is always amazing! Located on 7th Street by the Neo Vertika condo just west of Brickell City Center ((which inspires the colorful, artsy, loft-like feel of this space), this restaurant focusing on seafood boils and Cajun flavors was opened by the same chefs that own 107 Taste. You should come with an empty stomach, because you will be rolling out of here by the time you are done! We came here for Miami Spice $45 Dinner menu, which didn't seem too different from their regular priced offerings (maybe by a couple of $ per person). This allowed us to better understand how it would be to dine on any other day/time of the year. We chose the following for our 3 course meal: Appetizers - Coconut Shrimp, served with spicy mayo - Fried Gator Tendors, served with tartar sauce Entrées - Seafood Boil with 1 LB of Jumbo Shrimp, and sides of corn and andouille sausage (Medium spice) - Seafood Boil with 1/2 lb of Snow Crab, and sides of potatoes and andouille sausage (Mild spice) Dessert - Nutella Crepe Cake - Strawberry Basque Cheesecake This was our first seafood boil experience, and it was simply amazing! The appetizers were good-- and provided me with an opportunity to try Gator tenders for the first time (delicious). We didn't have to wait long for the actual seafood boil part of the experience. Their secret "ultimate" sauce is to die for, and is something both my fiancée and I could've drank straight up from the dish if we could've! For $45 you get an appetizer (had their jumbo shrimp ), entree (I had their 1/2 lb of snow crab with corn & sausage) AND A DESSERT (coconut crepe cake). They weren't lying when they said JUMBO shrimp. The shrimps were huge & came with a spicy mayo sauce which paired amazingly. I love that they weren't too battered. For dinner, we got 2x cajun boil with crab, lobster, shrimp, corn, and sausage & 2x garlic shrimp noodles. Going into my review, the food was point as everything was very tasty! The seafood boil possessed tender shrimp, lobster, crab, corn, and sausage soaked in that spicy bold savory seafood broth! The garlic shrimp noodle kind of had this Asian garlic butter flavor to it that was addictively satisfying! The prices are a little high, but you're in Miami after all, and the portions are nicely sized. My only crtique is that our server didn't mention that there was an automatic gratuity for 4 or more guests which would've been nice to know, but overall, we enjoyed our stop at the Cajun boil and would be happy to come back here again! While visiting Miami, my husband and I craved for some seafood and we found this spot near our hotel. The space is huge and neat. There's a bar in the middle of the dining and everything looks nice. We ordered the combo with snow crabs, mussels and shrimp with their house sauce. It tasted good, the seafood tasted fresh and cooked well. We've also ordered some garlic noodles to complement!
