Great happy hour bites and cocktails at a really good price. The airline theme is very fun and there is outdoor seating on the terrace. Definitely will be back for another mojito which was really really good. Parking is available on the lot off of 36 street.

Outdoor seating- looks out the the airport and downtown Miami

After a long day of driving and needing to catch a flight early in the morning, I was looking for a quick bite! This place did not disappoint! It is located inside of the Wyndham hotel on the 6th floor. The decor was cool! Modern and fit the airplane theme. I was greeted right away and asked where I wanted to sit. The bartender and waitress were very friendly and I truly felt like I was being taken care of from start to finish! The food: the nonalcoholic mojito was delish and very refreshing! I love that it still looked so pretty even without the alcohol! The chicken wings were tender but I didn't really care to the Buffalo sauce or the ranch. The ranch was a bit too sweet for my liking. The salad was large, had great flavor and wasn't soggy! I would recommend this to any traveler that just doesn't want to leave the hotel. I would also recommend this to anyone staying close by! Beautiful views and great vibes!

The restaurant is located on the 6th floor of the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Miami Springs, Florida. When I walked in the hotel, it gave me a retro feel even through it's a modern hotel. As you get off the elevator you take a right and then another right, now at the end of the hall is the restaurant. A guy dressed in a uniform met us at the door and welcomed us. The ambiance was laid back. There wasn't too many people around so lunch was not rushed. The restaurant is in front of the Miami Airport so the views were so amazing. We ordered off of the Miami spice menu but also looked at the regular. Prices are not expensive for Miami. Miami Spice came with an hour of unlimited Mimosas. My husband and I ordered the same appetizer - the Tapas Platter. It came with two piece of artisan bread, one covered with avocado mousse with roasted mushrooms and the other was chickpea hummus with sautéed shrimps. Both were delicious! The entrées were the pilot omelette with bacon and bagel with avocado/sesame seeds and the huevos ranchero. The huevos is a bit spicy. Again the food was delicious! We finished with the key lime pie and the chocolate indulgence pie. Oh so good! It was a lot of food and we couldn't finish it all. The service was great. The views were amazing and I can't wait to go back. Please check it for yourself.

We were pleasantly surprised during our visit here last week. We made a reservation because we were a party of 7, but there was plenty of seating available. We were seated immediately upon arrival inside and outside. Most of us ordered wine, but we also had a few order the espresso martini which was delicious. The food was very good and the prices are very reasonable. We had croquettes, flatbreads, shrimp, calamari, and the sliders. Everything was fresh and made to order. The service was excellent. Johan our server was excellent. We were very impressed. The restaurant is on the 6th floor of the hotel and there's ample parking next to the hotel. The parking is well lit and free. The restaurant has a bar and on Saturday night there were quite a few people seated enjoying drinks. The restaurant is decorated with an aviation theme and the waiters wear pilot outfits. We'll definitely be back.

Our community service club had our holiday party here in December of last year and Pilot House was a hit! I ordered the blackened salmon filet entree and paired it with a delicious rosé wine. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the asparagus and butternut squash mash were seasoned well. It was not too loud inside and they had some cute booths that look like the inside of an airplane which was adorable. We will definitely plan to dine here in the new year and try other items on the menu. I would recommend this place for a nice date night or happy hour with friends. Check them out!

This is a nice place with a great view of the airport. It's very clean throughout and the decor is modern and pleasing. The staff is friendly and helpful. There's an outdoor roof top seating area, perfect for enjoying cocktails and snacks/appetizers. However, I feel the overall service and experience of the staff still needs a bit more refinement. We've been there a few times and we had an issue with our order once, we had another issue with the bill, and we've also had an issue with table reservation; all were solved to our satisfaction, but they were avoidable inconveniences. The food selection is good, well prepared, and flavorful. If you enjoy alfresco rooftop cocktails and dining, this is a good place and it's sure to be evenwhen cooler temperatures arrive in Miami.

Recently, some former co-workers & I had wanted to get together for Happy Hour. The day we had selected fell on the day of their company retreat so we decided to choose a spot near them. I happened to have grown up in Springs & knew there weren't many spots to get cocktails but after asking around, Pilot House came up and we decided to give it a try. Located on the 6th floor of the Wyndham Hotel on 36th Street and directly across Miami International Airports runway, this lil gem was sooooo cute! The interior is made to look like the inside of an airplane and the waitstaff is all dressed up in Pilot/Airline employee uniforms. Such a great touch! A bit retro and very (unexpectedly) chic for a chain hotel restaurant. On this particular day, the rain was coming & going so we stayed inside for the most part but so cool being able to watch planes take-off & land while sipping on cocktails. Our waiter, Yunior, was very sweet and reminded us that HH lasted until 7 so we hurriedly got our order in. I had a Spicy Margarita that was very good & everyone else enjoyed their drinks too. For bites, we ordered Beef Nachos Nachos (Seasoned Beef, Homemade Pico de Gallo & Melted cheese, optional Jalapeños) & Spinach Dip off the HH menu but since I don't eat beef, I also ordered Gambas Al Ajillo (Sauteed Shrimps in Garlic, Red Pepper, Brandy, served with House Crostini) and Chicken Fingers & French Fries off the Kid's Menu (I was starving!) Everything was good & although the restaurant ended up CRAZY packed (like s huge line waiting to get in! so weird!) & our waiter was obviously spread thin, he remained attentive & always with a smile. If I'm ever in the are again, wound not think twice about "checking in" for some drinks & bites!

The Pilot House is on the 6th floor of the Wyndham Garden Miami Airport Hotel and we were thankful that it was open and the food was good. We stayed a couple nights at this hotel which brought us to having dinner and brunch. The white pizza was my favorite for sure!!! I would order that pizza again in a heartbeat!! The staff is great and the view of the airport is nice! There is some outdoor seating as well.

The A/C is always cool and…read morethe bar and Tv's all-around give it a nice sports-bar /familish vibe for any game you follow - there's a TV there for it. Do not go there in a hurry expecting " Speedy González "service it just isn't their vibe at all not rag on them at all. Often you have to wait for an attendant to seat you and another to take your order and another to bring it out. But having given you the lay of the land - beer is always ice cold and served with a smile and drinks get well mixed and served promptly at the bar. Anything off their menu is always tasty and property cooked - like their Shrimp and Cheese Quesadillas with onions and green peppers plus their Steak Tacos and Tuna or Key West Tacos too plus Smothered fries rock and Philly Cheese Steak too. A tad light on dessert options for our taste hence why only 4 stars - but the typical Brownie Hot Fudge with Vanilla Ice Cream worked for us. Sodas of course for the under age and a dart board and table Polo for the restless kids - I vaguely recall. The place has clean bathrooms and nobody's ever rude unless you are and rush them too much. It's in the South-East end of Miami Springs just West of LeJeune Road (also same as N.W. 42nd Ave.) Go West on 36th Street from the Airport, past the McDonald's on the North side in a Days Inn I think No reservations needed unless maybe a very large party. It's really very close to the MIA Airport area. We went 3 times while down there. Prices we felt were very affordable for all items and the dress code is casual anything and families are definitely welcomed. Very much a locals place like Cheers but because they are adjacent a hotel - lots of out-of-towners and the airport lunch crowd too. Eating at the bar, the many private booths in the back or table-seating, you will find your spot for sure. And for the game junkie men who hate to get up and do a bathroom run during a game to use the bathroom while the game is on - no worries tv's in the men's room all-around too.

Before I start I would like to say that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences…read moreand my personal experiences alone, so without further ado let's begin!!.. This restaurant and lounge is located inside the Embassy Suites by the Miami Airport. I am going to go out on a limb and say this is one of the greatest restaurants/lounge in the area.. The food is fresh and well seasoned and brought out nice and hot! The waiter, his name is Javier and his customer service was stellar. My wife ordered a chicken quesadilla, I ordered a turkey club, he returned and said they were out of turkey and other cold cuts so he asked me if I wanted anything else to substitute for.. I asked him about the angus burger. Let's just say he made to right by adding a few things to my order. I will say the burger was great, it also came with a side of fries... The atmosphere was nice and relaxing.. it almost felt like I was at home enjoying a home cooked meal... I would definitely recommend you try them out if you're ever in the Miami- Dade County area... I will say that I decided to leave off one star because we were not advised about the automatic 15% gratuity that will be taken out without notice until you get your bill... Other than that I have no complaints!!...
