As for the 5 course meal, it was not worth the price tag, granted it's about the experience but even that was also nothing spectacular. The empanadas were different with octopus and was okay. The best dish of the night was the quinoa garden with salmon. That was an amazing dish!!!! The sushi roll was nothing more than a vegetable roll! The worst dish by far was the alleged wagyu skewers! That was definitely not Wagyu as I pointed it out to the waiter and showed him how tough it was as I could not even chew my 2 pieces and nor was my daughter able to. The video posted clearly showed how tough it was and it was disappointing to be served such a bag quality piece and call it wagyu. The dessert was sweet and nice. Wished it was served with little more fruit to balance the sweetness of the dulce de leche! We were welcomed with a very cool fish-shaped glass filled with a pink alcoholic beverage. I honestly did not taste much alcohol in it. The first course looked like small rock petals filled with fish. The second course was served inside a glass, with little mushrooms, quinoa, and salmon hidden at the bottom. The third course was the sushi, which was my favorite, so many different flavors exploded in my mouth! The fourth course was two pieces of meat on skewers with a whiskey guava sauce, presented in a small Asian-style fire box. Finally, dessert arrived in a basket. It looked like a cake with caramel filling inside. Unfortunately, it was too sweet and overpowered the flavor. And I say that as someone who loves sweets. The second drink was not good to me. It tasted like a very bitter champagne. That said, the presentation was amazing, the food was well prepared, and the service was excellent. I ordered an Old Cuban Old Fashioned, one of my favorites, and was surprised to see the bartender use his hands instead of tongs to put the ice into the glass. I ended up sending the drink back because the glass was dirty. The second drink was made by another bartender, and again, I noticed him using his hands instead of tongs to handle the ice. The food was still great, but after today's experience, I'll definitely be paying much closer attention to how my drinks are prepared. I've always had a great experience at Finka, which is why today was especially disappointing. I hope this was just an off day and not a change in their usual standards.
