I took my microwave to be fixed. It needed a fuse replaced.(I do not fix electronics). Advertised…read moreas Guaranteed low prices if you are willing to give up putting up with the unprofessionalism and rudeness of the owner. There is a fee just to have something checked which is fine. However, you have to wait for days for said check up. I had a conversation with the owner trying to build a community rapport. He brought politics into the conversation and it went all the way to being accused of being a "communist" just because I am a liberal. This guy seriously needs to retire or sell the business even his staff seemed oppressed. He went as far as telling me that he knew there were no other repair businesses around. I would rather buy a new appliance than deal with this guy besides I would sleep better. A piece of advice avoid this business at all cost. He is combative, rude, dismissive, condescending. I believe he makes the most money just from Service fee than actual repairs. Wish there was a negative star option!

01/31/25. They guys here did a great job fixing my MayTag washer and also going beyond the repair…read more and cleaning it really good from the outside . Got it back same day aswell and best of all, they did it at a fair price . Far better than other places I have had my appliance looked at before. Wasn't even sure if I should even try to fix as my washer is 4 years old and I know some places charge so much for repair not even worth it but they got it done at reasonable price and it's working great now. I'm comfortable knowing they gave me 3 Months guaranty on their work . Thank you Señor Julio. Fernando Yanez-

We had a very good first experience with Mr. Appliance. As promised, they contacted us the day…read morebefore to set a time window for their technician, and he was on time. We were getting an error code on our dryer, and they told us the name of technician who would be arriving, and a picture as well. He contacted us when he was on his way, which is a nice courtesy. Andy is skilled in customer service as well as appliance service, and he represents the company very well. The problem was likely some blockage in the dryer itself due to lint buildup, but also might be in the exhaust hose to the outside. The initial visit was $149, and we were told that when making the appointment. For $51 additional he would open up the dryer and vacuum out built-up lint that may have accumulated over the years, and we opted for that, to eliminate that as a problem. He did a very thorough job, but also we are going to have another company clean out the vent since lint buildup is a serious fire hazard. They aren't cheap, but with cheap you often get problems. For us the price was reasonable to have it done right.

Unbelievable nickel-and-diming from Mr. Appliance. I hired them to install a washer and dryer that…read morehad been in storage, and the upcharges piled up instantly. While the basic installation fee was $250, they charged me an extra $75 just to slide the existing machines 10 feet out into my courtyard because management hadn't moved them yet. On top of that, they heavily overcharged for the new installation kits (braided washer hoses and a gas dryer line). To cap it all off, the technician left the dryer door swinging open the wrong way, completely blocking the opening to the area. Now, as a disabled person, I have to awkwardly maneuver and dance around the door just to get into it and use the machine. When I called to ask them to fix this basic oversight, they wanted to charge me another $150. For a job that cost well over $500 with parts and fees, basic attention to detail should be included--not treated as an opportunity to squeeze more money out of a customer. Total price gouging for careless work.
