He told me what could happen if my alarm went off and my trunk wouldn't open, before he unlocked it so I wouldn't be blindsided. The worst experience ever…read more Before our insurance would allow them to begin repairs on the car, they told me is it would be ready within 11 days. Once that 11th day came, we heard every excuse as to why my car wasn't ready. Finally, they told us that they ordered a part for the car, but it wouldn't arrive until the next day. The next day came and the car wasn't ready. The next day came, but their painting machine broke so I'd have to wait an entire week since they don't work weekends and the paint needs time to rest. They were able to paint my car, but it still needed to be aligned. They ended up losing my keys, costing us another week since this happened on a Friday. Finally they were able to operate on my car's alignment, but they still needed to order the headlight. This ended up lasting 4 weeks for something we were told would last 11 days. On top of that, they also took all of the change in the car, a phone charger, and a cap from my trunk. This is the worst place to take your car too, not to mention their work is crappy. The replacement parts they put on are plated over the original parts and grind against them. Horrible service on all fronts!

They were all positive about Hami Motors and don't understand this one at all because this Hami seriously tries to help everybody out especially during this crisis of covid-19. I asked him about a recent bad review he had from some bully. He is not even a customer here. Go figure. Hami gave this guy a 20 dollar bill the first time he met the guy because he didn't have gas money. No favor goes unpunished I guess. THE mechanic here, his name is Michael. Very trustworthy. He explained every aspect of my maintenance needs and then his general manager even took video to show me what they were doing exactly so that I would be well-informed at every stage. After the diagnostic, I was quoted $2,700 for a clutch and flywheel replacement. When I declined the repair, I was told I owed $350 to retrieve my vehicle -- a diagnostic fee that was never disclosed upfront when I agreed to the diagnostic. I questioned the pricing because the parts quoted were significantly higher than OEM-equivalent parts available from reputable suppliers. Instead of a clear explanation or written breakdown provided in advance, the situation escalated. I ultimately paid the fee under protest in order to retrieve my vehicle. I understand shops need to be paid for diagnostics, but fees should be clearly disclosed before service, and customers should not feel pressured when they decline repairs. I strongly recommend getting all diagnostic fees and estimates in writing upfront before using this shop.

I Had my wife and my mother in law with me, but not our bags! They were in another hotel & we were paying 2 hotels for one night! ( I wonder if our bags missed us? Lol) anyway, our hotel was about all there was around us and ever time I googled "auto repair near me" it gave me Lafayette ( which was 49 miles away & the truck squealed & popped like the wheels were coming off! I googled again & it gave me Spring Texas accidentally assuming " near me" meant I was at home...in Spring Texas ...so Google accidentally gave me " Eagle Auto..." Jeff let me know I was too far for them when I gave him the hotel's address! I had no idea he was in Spring! That would usually be the end of the call right? Not so with Jeff.. he found a five star shop...five minutes away....by using his computer to help me out. The shop was great to us ...good price good work...friendly service....and quick enough for us to get back to our other hotel before the check out deadline for another night for our bags, lol. Oscar has young, inexperienced mechanics working for him but still tries to charge 80$ per hour shop rate.. Brought my vehicle into Oscar on Monday, for some front suspension work - 2 idler arms, 2 upper control arms, and 4 tie rods.... Called Wednesday, Oscar told me vehicle would be ready but never called me, Called again Thursday left a VM and then Called Again and spoke to front desk person - ask what is the status? Told me Oscar would call back - never did - Called again Friday - Told me Vehicle would be ready after an alignment - Went up there Friday at 6pm Still on rack - waited til 630 to pick it up... 5 Days for a 1/2 day job - Found out at that time that the tie rods were incorrect and not installed and then was also told that he installed lower control arms - which was not part of the original deal - and something i did not want done - anyway - needed my vehicle and did not want to argue.. the invoice price also was higher - went from 300$ to 400$ - again - just needed my vehicle back and wanted to move on from bad experience...the experience had already cost me alot of money because I couldnt work without a vehicle - AFter Picking up the vehicle, I instantly noticed issues - First off the vehicle was not aligned and the front suspension was making horrible noises - Called and spoke to Oscar on Saturday to let him know that there were issues - He said to come back Monday - Went and visited him Monday - Day 7 of this experience so far - Told me that he couldnt align it and would refund me 35$ - LOL 35$ for wasting more of my time - I took the 35$ and headed to Alignment shop - 80$ later I was informed that the incorrect Lower Control Arms were installed and they needed to be changed - Called Oscar and told him that he had installed the wrong lower control arms and that I needed the job to be correct - He asked me to buy the HD ball joints and he would swap out the drivers side - Bought the ball joints that are inserted into the control arms and dropped the vehicle off on Thursday for him to fix.... Thursday goes by then its Friday - Now a total of 7 days in the shop for front suspension work - What a joke - He tells me friday that the ball joints wouldnt fit - then I told him well now its obvious you installed the wrong lower control arms and I needed it fixed correctly - told me it would be another 150$ for the HD control arm - I told him that it was his fault - the lower control arms were never supposed to be swapped out in the first place and he did anyway and installed wrong parts - Oscar was extremely dificult to work with, made mistakes only an amateur mechanic would do, and did not correct the problem - so now Ive spent 400$ on the initial repairs, 300$ on wrong control arms, 300$ on the right control arms, $200 on uber rides for the 7 days without a vehicle, 80$ on first alignment, 50$ and 200$ on second alignment and installation of passenger side HD control arm, and 7 days without a vehicle - Oscar refused to replace the bad part he had originally installed and had no interest in making things right - Just another Bad Mechanic wanting 80$ an hour for doing a horrible job - -- Also amount of calls from Oscar or Pronto during the 7 days my vehicle was there is ZERO - I had to constantly call to check on it and was never notified of any issues until I called to ask... Would not recommend - not even for an oil change - Please do not go there - Front suspension work is basic stuff and if they can't get that right - they cant do anything right...
