    Chicken and Jojos
    Lazar V.

This is one of the better pizza places in the area. The fresh, daily made crust really makes the pizza. The fried chicken is also very good. Very little breading on the chicken and the flavor is great. The fried chicken comes with jojos. I am not a fan of their salad dressing and in my opinion I can go without eating their salad. This is a good place to go for catering food as well.

We ordered spanakopita, roasted red pepper hummus, a small salad, a lamb and beef gyro, a blackened salmon gyro, and baklava. Our total came to roughly $60-$70 and it took about 15-20 minutes to get everything ready. We sat on the patio while we waited and one of the employees was nice enough to bring our order out to us. For starters, the hummus was amazing. I didn't expect there to be such a kick, but it was phenomenal. The pita was delicious and the veggies were the freshest set I've had in a very long time. This includes the veggies I find at the store. It took me about 3-5 days to finish the hummus and the pita and veggies were just as fresh. I loved the beef and lamb gyro, it was the best one I've ever had! Andrew on the other hand was less impressed with his salmon gyro, but he's extremely picky when it comes to salmon. He tried my gyro and said he will definitely be ordering that next time we stop by. I tried so hard not to finish the baklava in one sitting, but it was SO good. This is one of the best restaurants we've tried in the past 3 years and I'm disappointed we don't live closer. We will have to make this a monthly trip

When I was in the North Royalton area I stopped in at the Jolly's Pizza in a late afternoon. This location is at the intersection of Royalton and State Roads. The shop itself is relatively small; in the front is a service counter and the kitchen area, in the back is a little dining room and bar. The décor is pretty basic and the dining room is kind of dark. The menu is about what you expect from a Pizza place, pizza, salads, wings and apps. The pizza is available in 3 sizes and a bunch of specialty varieties. I ordered 2 pizzas to go; a Nostalgic sized Do-Gooder and a Sicilian Style Run Through the Garden. The pizzas were ready in about 10 minutes and looked and smelled great. I did grab a slice before the ride home and it was delicious. Both of the pizzas came on a thicker crust with crispy bottoms and sides and a nice pillowy inside, that made for a very filling meal. The toppings were fresh, flavorful and generous, these pizzas were similar to a Detroit style pizza. The Nostalgic is described as a 4 slice personal pizza, but it actually is about the size of good sized loaf of bread and one or two pieces were plenty for a meal. The Sicilian is a large 10 slice rectangle. The Do-Gooder is topped with white sauce, mushrooms, caramelized onions, ricotta, honey, basil, and scholar sauce; between the creamy ricotta, the honey and the scholar sauce this is a flavor bomb if a bit messy. The Run Through the Garden is a vegetable pizza with mushroom, caramelized onion, tomato, red pepper, banana pepper, olives, red sauce, and basil; very fresh and tasty about the only nit was that I would have liked more of the red sauce. The cheese on both pizzas were good, but a bit overwhelmed by the abundance of toppings. Jolly's Pizza delivers large and tasty pizzas, well worth a try if you want a thicker pizza with a lot of toppings.

Let me tell you first of all I walk in to this little mom and pop pizza shop and was immediately greeted at the counter, asking me if I had an order in or would like to place one. Since I did not call it in, I placed my order and told them that I wanted a little heavy on the sauce with my usual pepperoni and sausage, which is my go to when I first try a new pizza place. The staff was very friendly and the guy in the front and I struck up some nice conversation regarding hometown pizza places and diners between here and where I live in the Hamilton/Fairfield area. He asked me how he liked my pizza and I told him a little bit on the darker side and it came out perfect. Super nice people and a very clean interior of the building. It is not dine in so you'll have to carry out. As I left, I cracked the box in my car to let the pizza cool a little and could just smell the flavor coming out of there. Since I am traveling on the road for sales, I did not have a hotel booked yet being lunchtime so I pulled over in a county park and had my lunch. This could be possibly the best Italian sausage I have ever had on a pizza anywhere. If you'd like sausage on your pizza, don't skip it. I am going to give it a nine out of 10, which is really high for me and I will surely be back time after time when traveling through here. Well done!

(One complaint was the wood fired pizza. It's just not there. First, it's not New York Style. It's an attempt New Haven style, or more simply, Neapolitan. It wasn't bad, but something just wasn't there.). As far as the location, the outdoor patio is great. Unfortunately, we were seated at high tables which is all they have inside. You really have to have a mix of seating. The service was good. The ordering is self serve and the staff helps. The problem is, it's on a system that restaurant servers would use to place orders, so it's not very user friendly. They really should invest on a customer-facing ordering software that's more intuitive. Another thing about the service is that, even if they don't have actual servers, they really could have some of the staff just mill about and check on tables to make sure everything was ok. Last, the Brew Wall: AMAZING! Love sampling the beers, and easy to use. Would go back just for that, which is kinda the point.

They finally asked if we had been here before and the 2 kids I had with me had but I stated I hadn't. They asked if we would be having separate tabs or all together and I let them know that the kids would not be drinking as well as I wouldn't and it would be all together. They then stated seat yourself, allowed us to pick the table, brought us menus... and no other instructions. Unsure of how to order or what to do we finally got up and asked the single gentleman who was walking the dining room and looking friendly. We finally figured out how to order (you walk up and order). We got a Stromboli, perogies, mozzarella sticks, garlic knots, and a burger. Everything came out not at a time within about 15 mins except the burger took an additional 10 with no communication on things. A girl (Jillian) came by when we were nearly done and had a couple plates stacked and asked if we needed anything, I said boxes in a bit but the plates could be taken. She glared with a look of "you want ME to take this" and then took them. Overall not very welcoming except for the long gentleman helping everyone. The 5 girls at the host stand didn't seem to care about anyone except their selves. It wasn't too busy when we got here and not loud. As someone who has worked in restaurants with bars you could see the frustration on guests trying to pour beer (self serve) with no clue how and very little assistance offered. Lots of foamy drinks. Would also be great to not have a whole onion with the perogies
