They have larger dinner entree dishes here, but he pointed out their sandwiches which were much smaller in size since I didn't want a ton of food. I got the beef shawarma which was made fresh by the nice cook behind the wall in the kitchen. You can get fries or rice as a side with the sandwiches which is great. I went with fries, which were okay. There's also fountain pop here which was great, but cans of pop or water in the front if that's what you'd prefer. My total with a drink was around $13 which wasn't to terribly bad. Food was good and it seemed to match the price point. I did have leftovers but due to the heat and me being out and about, I wasn't able to take them with me.

Upon collecting my order, I discovered that it was ordered via DoorDash, and I had indeed paid the extra fee. Furthermore, despite one of the dishes containing pine nuts, they attempted to charge me an additional fee for them. The menu explicitly states "hummus with lamb and pine nuts." I've been going to Shish Palace for years but I'm done. The Shish Kafta was so dry from being reheated. So it's upset with my experience today. In the past I always been happy and sometimes it's been hit or miss but today just made up my mind. I'm done.
