These guys are true pros! I wish I had taken photos of the state my storage place was in. It was a 10x20 and contained our entire 3 bedroom house which we haphazardly threw into in the rush to move out. I told them not to really worry about the furniture since we had damaged most of it in the move and planned on replacing it but they didn't listen. When they arrived at our new home every was neatly stacked, wrapped, padded, and packed into their moving truck and they got it all in one go. I was astounded! It took them a total of 4 hours to pack and unpack what had taken me and my husband weeks to just throw in there. Price was super fair and the men that did the job were polite and funny. I wish that I had had cold ice to give them ice water or food at the house to have had something to offer them! 10 out of 10 would recommend! read more

Review from 4/11/15: We just finished moving (again), and once again we were completely happy with our choice to go with Jose and Antz Movers. We didn't even think about getting bids from anyone else. They are the best and they are incredibly reasonable. They take great care to cover walls, doors, walkways, and how they pack their trailer. I don't think we have ever seen a ding or damage from anything they have done. They are happy to move things around a bit, set up beds, or whatever is needed. On top of that, they are truly nice people. Frankly, we cannot say enough positive things about Jose and Antz and would strongly encourage anyone moving in Austin to not even think twice about going with anyone else. I just used Zippy Shell to move out of Austin, and they brought on Antz Movers to do the loading for the job. I was a little nervous about getting a third party involved, but my concerns disappeared as soon as I met the team from Antz Movers. They arrived right on time, were very friendly but professional, and did an outstanding job with the move. The team of three gentlemen got started quickly, and carefully wrapped all my furniture and the smaller items. They asked questions if they had any about the stuff they were moving, and treated everything gently, even the old IKEA junk! Then the rain started. A huge thunderstorm that had been looming all morning cracked the sky, and it was raining so hard that it was coming down sideways. The team got soaked, finished loading everything, and had a far, far better attitude than I would have had in that situation the entire time! These guys were everything I could have wanted in movers, possibly the best I've ever had (and I've been very lucky with movers). Don't hesitate to give them a call for your next move. I have so many good things to say about José and his crew that came to help us move our stuff from a storage unit to our new home. - Antz did not automatically bill an hour to account from when they left their facility to meet me at my storage unit. The clock did not start until the crew got to work. - On top of being competitive in pricing, it was also very affordable to ask for an extra mover, so we got through everything very quickly. - not only did they show up early, but they gave me a call to let me know they would be early - the crew wore masks during our move, even when they were emptying our outdoor storage unit. (Extremely considerate seeing as we have high-risk grandparents helping us out with our kids during lockdown) - José and his crew were incredibly respectful and accommodating, even when I asked them to move our cough twice. The guys that came to move were very friendly and professional. They made a mistake and accidentally damaged our dresser which I completely understand. The wood on the top of the dresser broke off and the dolly went through the bottom and put a hole in it. The owner was very unresponsive and gave us our dresser back with a lazy repair job with the cracked wood still visible...it looked like it was just glued down. The owner was very friendly and responsive at the beginning but then didn't want to fix the issue. He says they are insured but he refuses to use it. read more

I used Antz Movers for a recent move - I was so impressed! They were fantastic. Bryan, Deinier, and Alex arrived and worked so hard. And they could not have been more friendly. (Even on a hot and humid day!) My move from a 2 bedroom apartment (2nd floor) to my new home (2 story) took right at 3 hours. The movers were timely and worked quickly, but also made sure to wrap my furniture, lay down blankets/floor covering indoors for a walkway (it was a little wet outside), and carefully place my belongings in the correct room. I'm not reviewing their moving capabilities because sadly after I booked with them and also received a confirmation phone call, they did not show up to my home at the scheduled time on the scheduled day. They did not answer phone calls or text messages from me or my fiancé. I did receive a text message 11 hours after the scheduled arrival time saying they had booked me on the following day. With all the frustration that comes with moving, every break you can get is a blessing, thankfully we had AntzMovers to help. Easily the best company I have dealt with over a couple times we have needed movers. Very friendly and professional. Showed up right on time and were ready to go. They brought extra blankets for fragile items and took good care of all furniture. They went the extra mile disassembling furniture to make the most out of space and avoid having to make multiple trips. On the day they came it was constant rain the whole day and they were fast to double shrink wrap all furniture to avoid having any water foul it. They worked constantly with no breaks and without slowing down for 8 hours. We were helped by Brian and Odi. I got quotes from several highly rated moving companies on Yelp, and Antz had the best offer by far. Lets just say, all the other companies offered the same rate for a crew of 2 that Antz offered for a crew of 3. They also didn't charge any silly distance fee (I moved 10 miles). On the day of the move, they called ahead of time to confirm they were on their way and they showed up on time. An extra 4th crew member showed up, to which they asked if I would like to have him help with the move for a very small increase in the hourly rate (a huge bargain). I was more than happy to accept, because I'm being charged by the hour and an extra man was going to get it done faster. The crew took only 3.5 hours to move 3 bedrooms (from upstairs), a huge refrigerator, a washer/dryer (from upstairs), and a lot of furniture and boxes. To give a comparison: this is an amount of stuff that I have had moved in the past that took about 6 hours from another company using a crew of 3. Not a single scratch on anything. They really took care of our property, and not once did I see anything mishandled. Our new house has a spiral staircase, and they took extra care not to let anything touch the walls. They taped my entryway and laid down padding in my new home to protect our new wood floors. An effort that was never mentioned by anyone but I noticed the extra care. The crew was very friendly, professional, and never skipped a beat. All-in-all, this was the best move I have ever experienced, and I will definitely be recommending Antz to friends. read more

They showed up on time (even a few minutes early!), carefully packed up all of my belongings, and moved them into my home without any damage to the items themselves or the walls in my house. They positioned the furniture to where I wanted it and moved it again when I changed my mind (haha). They also took the time to run by the dumpster in my apartment building to dispose of a few large items I did not want to move and couldn't remove myself. This review is based on booking. We thought we were locked in with another Co. but when confirming no responses were received. Since the move is for this weekend, I quickly started looking at yelp reviews to find a plan B. They could help us out with a later afternoon appointment. I had a rough idea of what my husband's comfort level was for price but I wasn't sure if an afternoon arrival time would be okay with him or not. To my surprise, Antz Movers held our spot for an hour so I could reach him versus moving forward with the non-refundable deposit. Based on booking the appointment, I feel we are in great hands. Antz moved us back in July. Only a mile, but a full house from an apartment and storage unit. They were good, polite, efficient. However, in the process, they broke a pedal off my Yamaha piano. They told me immediately and apologized, said they would cover it. They included the note that the pedal was broken and they would contact me on the final receipt. I had ordered a bulky and heavy chair that arrive at my front door. I barely got it into the garage, but I needed help getting it up a narrow staircase to the 2nd floor. I contacted Jose at Antz Movers and he gave me a quote that was better than any other movers I called. On top of that, he was able to come out the next day. When he came out with two of his guys, they were courteous and careful. I was sure that getting something that big and heavy through a narrow staircase would result in at least one ding somewhere, but they managed to not touch the wall at all. They even put blankets over the wooden stair railing to protect it. As far as jobs go, this one is pretty small. But Jose and his crew gave it the care and attention to details that earned my recommendation. I'd definitely use them again for my future moving needs. read more

Jose and his crew saved my day! I had originally hired All Around Moving Company and when they showed up to my apartment, they told me it would be a "very difficult move" and needed to charge me literally 10x the quoted rate. My highrise is, by the way, a very comfortable place to move in/out of due to no long walks, a freight elevator directly adjacent to the loading dock, and high powered A/C. For movers, there couldn't be a better atmosphere. All Around Moving Company was such a scam and were extorting me once they saw that I lived in a luxury high rise community. My front desk recommended Antz and I was SO RELIEVED that when I called Jose he said he could meet me in 45 minutes. Jose and his two guys were extremely nice, willing to work hard, and charged a very competitive rate. They were pleasant to work with and just plain nice. So professional! My nice furniture remained in perfect condition. They even helped move all the little stuff that I was planning on moving myself. As long as I live in Austin, I will always use Jose and Antz. This is the third time I've used Antz movers for a residential move. They are fast, reliable and stick with the quote they give. I've used other moving companies in Austin, and experienced a rate increase after the intial quote, and damage to my furniture. I've never had any issues with Antz.
