Seriously a hidden gem in heart of BH. Such amazing people and great customer service. The ladies here will thread properly and really know how to shape your face. Sitting in a chair for 30 minutes every week or two can be annoying, but they truly make it enjoyable, as they are so warm and welcoming at Anu Beauty. Do not come here. I don't understand where the good reviews are coming from. I came hear a while back, called in advance to make an appointment and the lady I spoke to on the phone confirmed the appointment for 4 pm. I showed up 10 minutes before my appointment because I hate being late to things and got scolded by the lady who was doing my brows. She said they were closed and that I should have called to make an appointment because she needed to pick up her son from school. I told her I had called and showed my caller ID and she said it was fine to have a seat but with the worst attitude. There was another girl in front of me who was getting her brows done and pointed out the woman was trying to use the same spoolie on her that she used on the previous client. She told her she didn't feel comfortable because it was unsanitary and the woman began being rude to her and put alcohol on the spoolie and continued doing her brows. even with the attitude and unsanitary conditions, she still tried to tip her and the craziest thing was she was met hostility for asking to how she can add a tip. read more

Called to address a complaint about an unpleasant visit at this eyebrow service place and spoke to the manager named Anu. Instead of trying to understand the unpleasant experience, she immediately defended herself and kept repeating that there's was nothing wrong with their service. I was addressing that the lady who did the eyebrow showed an unpleasant attitude while doing the eyebrow. She refused to acknowledge the situation and went ahead and shut the conversation by saying thank you and wanted to hang up. It is the worst kind of manager service I have encountered. Poor attitude. Luckily , I live down the block but today I came at 10 am , they were still closed , came back at 11am , still closed. I alternate between here and Styles threading - as far as service goes , they're comparable , no frills , sometimes they go a little too rough on my skin - leaving me with a little bit of redness and/or small cuts but nothing major ! Came here as a walk in after previous plans fell thru, and was lucky to have the owner there for the threading and free at the time. Brows are 12, standard for the area, and service was quick and clean and almost pain free, or as pain free as threading can be. They do accept credit card, although you need to tell them ahead of time how much tip to leave as it doesn't pop up on your screen. Def looking forward to coming back! read more

Update: came home, mentioned about my very strange experience with spouse. My spouse got so shocked knowing me, and call to this place. When conversation was done, he called them to ask how is that possible that people can be so mistreated. He got yelled by the owner, that insisted that I was showing them attitude and that's why they decided to do so. Just nonsense, omg :))) It just gets worse and worse. Just would recommend to stay away. If you get your eyebrow crooked and you get a new girl, you'll be regretting coming and especially mentioning about it to them. In the end it'll be all your fault or your eyebrow's defect, according to their conclusion. Let this be my lesson, I was hesitating writing that review, because I don't do yelp. But have decided I shouldn't let people do things to me they did. Mostly the lying and blaming. Let this be my only one negative review I dedicate to my experience, so I will recognize these kind of people in the future and will know do any business with layers and just not good people. REVIEW: Why do we support these kind of businesses? Anything about this business is just wrong. If something goes wrong, you will not be supported and more than you'll be attacked. First visit was excellent, when I entered I just went straight to a girl, who I think was the only one who deserves to have her own business, very professional and delicate. Owner came and translated. Because the girl didn't speak English. Owner came and told me the most ridiculous thing ever, she said the problem is in my Eyebrow! Lady continued, i asked her will she trim my eyebrows, so she got scissors and did some actions in the air, but didn't dare to actually trim them. I had mirror in my hands! When young lady continued with my upper lip, she was asking me smth, I didn't understand, so I said: oh I'm sorry, what do I need to do, and she keep saying smth, and I asked again, what do I need to do, I'm sorry I didn't get. I was very polite. She got upset and called owner, owner helped to translate. In the end I eventually got tired that she is being rude to my body, so I asked her stop touching, grabbing my hands and pushing me that rude. It's just ridiculous. I felt myself not a client at all, idk what I was there. When I was paying, I thought maybe be I should mention that to owner, so they can improve their service. I also mentioned that the other girl is really professional. Owner immediately showed me the attitude and attacked me saying, that people need a vocation. And she is on vocation. I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. Given the location I had expected it would be (nicer) though inexpensive it was quick to go to. (I went to this location not out of the very cheap prices) BUT out of the fact that it was quick and convenient to go to. I've visited TWICE the very first time it was AWFUL (though they don't care) I suffer from whiplash and the lady applied AS MUCH pressure as she could and acted (furious) and scoffed about restylane injections while pressing into my eyes as much as she possibly could I LEFT with wrinkles, even worse it caused pain (people should PETITION to make it easier to report these things and get certifications REVOKED) you shouldn't EVER fear being physically hurt while getting a PAID salon service of any kind (even the cheapest of places) The second time (still LOTS of force) but the lady (YELLED) because she did an awful job and didn't charge me (that's how bad it was) Basically if somebody who isn't formally trained can do their brows better than you (then you shouldn't at all do theirs.) read more

Hey! I really enjoy coming here. When Anu does my brows, I am always happy with the process of getting my brows done and am always pleased with the results. I just wanted to give a message to her and future customers that the younger girl there who also does brows is no qualified to the same degree. I got my brows done by her once and it was painful, her hands kept touching my nostils and lips, and I did not like how my brows looked at the end. Anu Beauty & Threading Studio moved up the street to the City of Beverly Hills. The eyebrow threading price has increased by $1 which makes sense due to the move. However, the quality is still the same. The studio is double the size of the previous studio. -1 Star for the limited parking. There is limited metered parking spots on Robertson in front of the Studio and residential areas as well (be sure to read the parking signs!). I recommend coming after 6pm or Sundays for easier parking. read more

I came here on NYE to get my eyebrows threaded and there wasn't a wait. Parking is a bit tough, but I was able to find some parking around the corner. The threading was very precise and wasn't too painful. I'd come back here as the job was done perfectly and I would like to collect more stamps on the stamp card. It is a strip remaking everywhr on my tights. Shaida is always in hurry. As if they don't customers. They just want turn over. They don't care about quality at all. Anu is a brow expert! And for the bargain price of $9.99. I had a bit of time to kill before an event in the area and my brows really needed some TLC. I popped in with no appointment and Anu was able to see me right away. She did my brows in about five minutes and I left feeling like a new woman. The space is a little rough around the edges, but you're in and out so quick that it really does not matter. Plus there is a parking space in the back, as parking in this area can be tricky! read more

It's clean, affordable, and fast. This is the type of place for when your brows have gotten out of hand and you need a little touch up. But you will not get gorgeous brows. It won't be artful, it won't compliment your face shape, it won't make you look super put together but it will fix your unibrow situation. I hadn't been to this studio in about a year or two. For some reason, I started going to another great (but way more expensive) place on Melrose. However, when I was rushing back from my parents' place the day or two after Christmas and wanted to get my eyebrows done, I knew I could make it to Anu before closing time. Anu was there working on a woman's eyebrows and I was seated immediately at another woman's station. I always get nervous when someone does my eyebrows for the first time. But I decided to sit back and trust the process - I asked for thick eyebrows with an arch. Masterpiece! I really wish I had asked for her name. She seemed to be moving so intently with total precision in mind. When she first showed me my brows, they were a lot thicker than I like to keep them, but I thought it was a great sign that she was actually playing it safe, not trying to nudify my brows. Despite being so thick, they looked GREAT and so clean - just not my style. So I asked if she could add more of an arch (knowing that the arch would slim them down a little bit) and she did a perfect job on that too. I walked away so happy in in less than 10 mins. I even gave a 100% tip because YES. All I know is that, for the past two weeks, every time I catch myself in the mirror I'm totally impressed with these eyebrows. read more

I should have just refused to let her do mine bc she made them stick thin, the outside edges into a single thin line and I have a gap on the inside edge where she accidentally took off a chunk. For a person who is extremely picky about their eyebrows, this place literally did a perfect job on mine. I've been getting mine done since I was 11 (now 28), and I am really selective when it comes to who touches my eyebrows. I recently moved to LA and needed to find a new place to get them done. I don't regret going here and will certainly be making it my regular spot for my eyebrow threading. The place itself is not fancy at all, so I was a bit skeptical when I walked in, but you don't need glitz and glam to get an excellent eyebrow threading. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I used to go to Ziba Beauty at the Westside Pavilion, but my lady left and I was on the hunt for a new place. I tried other people at Ziba but they ruined my shape and cut my skin. My friend told me about Anu and I am so happy to have given it a try and found Saieda! She is absolutely incredible! Not only is she extremely sweet, but I'm telling you, her technique is close to painless, and my brows have never looked so good! She doesn't over thread, she really keeps my shape and just cleans around. My biggest fear is getting my brows too thin, but with her I don't have to worry. She pays close attention to detail so I never have any stray hairs that didn't get threaded. I've told everyone I know to start going to her! Can't recommend her enough! read more
