So I went there after fasting 12 hours and waited for 30 minutes. During my wait I had to pee and was told to enter the inner door and go to lavatory. I did so but was bothered by the fact that the sink and all washing facilities were taped off and out of order. Since my privates were probably the cleanest items in that place, washing myself was not a concern. But I wondered how the phlebotomists and others in that office washed their hands etc. Concluded they did not, which bothered me. When my name was called by the genius at the desk, I was told that they could do nothing because they did not have my doctor's phone number. I asked why this had not been told to me over the phone or when I came in. but that was too much to ask. I did not know my doctor's phone number. I asked how much longer it would take for them to get it and was told another 15 minutes. Based on experience I concluded this actually meant at least 30 more minutes so I left and had the doctor fax the order to CPL up the street. CPL is not much more efficient or polite but at least the toilets and sinks work and the facilities are clean.

La recepcionista les dijo que tenían que hacerse una inyección que no querían. Les dijo no varias veces, y la recepcionista insistió aunque la doctora no se les había mencionado nada acerca de este medicamento. They were told to get a shot they didn't want. They refused several times, but continued being asked by the receptionist. The doctor never seemed to mention it. They were charged around $450 for a check-up. Overall, my family member felt that this establishment was too expensive, and as another reviewer stated, a bit "money hungry."

My wife went because she had an eye infection (conjunctivitis) the nurse practician or Pa, wanted to run so many test on my wife to find out what she had. After she told us the price of the test $450, we decided and told the Nurse practician that we were going to wait to see my wife's physician the next day since we have medical insurance. I felt that she was not happy about our decision and kept telling us that even with insurance we have to pay. I do understand is expensive going to Dr. However I don't like when people try to take advantage of you.

Bad: Behind the scene operations are not so pleasant or efficient. It has been two weeks since my tests and they still have not been read. That part I completely understand--life happens. What I didn't appreciate was being told that I should have called ahead to check whether they were doing walk-ins. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of offering walk-in X-rays, especially when the website says they are available? I called this location before making the additional drive and confirmed they were accepting walk-ins. When I arrived, the front desk person simply nodded at me. It wasn't clear whether she was acknowledging me or telling me to come forward, so I asked if she wanted me to move forward. She just nodded again. There was no greeting, no verbal direction, and no attempt to make the interaction welcoming or even clear. Her demeanor gave me the distinct impression that she simply did not care about the person standing in front of her. Customer service matters everywhere, but it especially matters in healthcare. Patients may already be anxious about why they need imaging in the first place. Basic courtesy and clear communication should not be too much to expect. I would not return to this location. Update: I do want to add that once I was taken back for my X-rays, the imaging experience was wonderful. Daisy, who performed my imaging was kind, professional, and made that portion of the visit a very positive experience. Unfortunately, that does not change my assessment of the front-desk customer service, which was extremely poor and is the reason I would not return to this location.

I wanted to leave an updated review because this practice is now under Dr. Maria Salinas, and my…read moreexperience with her was completely different from what I experienced before. I had been a patient under Dr. Alissa for about six years, and I was very disappointed with the care I received during that time. I rarely, if ever, actually saw the doctor. Almost every appointment was handled by a different PA, which meant I constantly had to re-explain my full medical history, diagnosis history, symptoms, and concerns. As someone diagnosed with lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, Raynaud's syndrome, and other related issues, that was extremely frustrating and exhausting. Many of my lupus-related concerns were also often referred out to other doctors instead of being fully addressed. When Dr. Maria Salinas took over the practice, I came in for an appointment because I was dealing with inflammation, pain, and lupus-related symptoms. I honestly planned on finding another rheumatologist, but after this visit, I completely changed my mind. I was actually seen by Dr. Salinas herself, and I was so grateful. She already had my history, took the time to discuss my conditions with me, listened to my concerns, and made me feel heard. One of the biggest things that stood out was that she took my past experience with methotrexate seriously. I had bad side effects from that medication when I was younger, and instead of dismissing that, she discussed another option with me, Leflunomide. Today is day five on the new medication, and this morning I noticed a real difference. Before starting it, it would usually take me at least two hours every morning just to get moving because of the stiffness and pain. Some mornings I could barely stand up straight, and the swelling, pain, and weakness in my hands made it hard to even hold my coffee cup. This morning, I woke up without that same stiffness and was able to hold my cup with no problem. Dr. Salinas was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and understanding. She also allowed me to openly discuss my concerns about how the practice was run before. She explained that she has plans to improve the practice, including hiring another rheumatologist and one PA to help with patients. Most importantly, she said patients will consistently see the same provider, whether that is Dr. Salinas, the new rheumatologist, or the PA. That alone means so much because one of the hardest parts of the previous practice was seeing a different PA almost every time. I believe many of the older negative reviews reflect how the practice was managed under Dr. Alissa, but now that Dr. Salinas has taken over, I truly feel hopeful about my care here. She made me feel seen, heard, and taken seriously, and I am absolutely staying with this rheumatologist. I am very thankful for Dr. Salinas and look forward to continuing my care with her.

No one answers the phone since it is not there it is an answering service. I did not like the PA I saw at my last visit. She should have read my chart before my appointment, so I did not have to explain to her all my issues I have had. I literally had to go to the office just to talk to someone and complain about it. I do not take being rushed or seem to not be important on my issues. I am trying to find another doctor near me, but I have looked at their reviews and are not much better. I can't even believe they charge to do FMLA paperwork to. 125.00 for no rush, 175.00 if you need it ASAP. What a scam.
