I did that, shortly after I was called to the window for my ID and insurance card for copies to be made. Took a seat in the waiting area and within minutes I was told to take a seat in room two. The phlebotomist came in and took my labs. The process was quick and painless. I had a good experience.

This is the worst healthcare provider service I have ever encountered, even after using diagnostic…read moreservices in some very rural areas and in the busiest Metropolitan areas. maybe one out of 10 service and scheduling reps even listens to your issue, but every center will drop your call after waiting on hold for 10 minutes- and I mean at exactly 10 minutes. Their system is programmed to drop you without any concern when you are waiting on hold for a STAT appt or desperate need. Completely insensitive and unhelpful. Their reports are often blurry and illegible even after requesting originals multiple times. They send faxes with blurry streaks and multiple printer lines and marks making them impossible to read. I immediately called several places in Palm Beach Florida where I had no previous services and was immediately given my choice of appointments even for a Saturday. These clinics had NOT diagnosed the beast and spine cancers that are present so they had no idea of the patients history and they were very accommodating. The pictures below of my numerous calls to ARA that were dropped after exactly 19 minutes were placed on EST when the Austin clinics were still open. I addition, when I explained to at least 5 scheduling reps that ARA had rescheduled the original mammogram where cancer was suspected more than 4 times over the past 11 months, not a single agent offered to take any extra steps for the STAT orders this time. We had a devastating emergency yesterday, and went to Kyle ER after a horrible experience at AS. The receptionist, nurse, doctor, and specialists they brought in were amazing to work with, and helped me to feel comfortable in such a scary situation. I am beyond grateful for the help of Kyle ER yesterday and highly recommend them.

They don't balance bill after your insurance pays them (plus whatever your portion is, under insurance). I did their detox program. While I didn't like not being able to interact with anybody other than staff (I mean, it's a hospital setting, so...), they have Roku Tvs with Netflix in the rooms, and you can sign into any of your own services. Jason and Tina in particular are amazing, but I had no negative experiences with anyone working there. I will say, if you're there long enough for a meal, it's going to be a frozen dinner that they throw in a microwave. The upside is you have an exact calorie and carb count, if that matters (I'm on insulin, I have to dose based on carb intake - they let me self administer since I'm on an insulin pump). At one point they apparently would order from restaurants, but that probably cut into the CEOs hush fund too much (joking) Thr care is great. The food is terrible (I mean... It's a frozen dinner). The bill will max out your deductible (and likely your out of pocket even on a HDHP). But they truly do care, and they've stayed in touch to see how I'm doing. Other things - there's plenty of parking and I like that the hospital is free standing and not too close to anything else. Makes it feel less cramped. The clinic spaces are nice too.

Their door says open at 7am vs Google maps sites that have 8, so I arrived about 5 minutes before the appointment at 8. Got into the back a bit late, with everything else going as planned. Joan way my technician and she was so pleasant and friendly. Made the process less stressful and efficient. She gave clear directions and only had to redo one item. The changing rooms were nice with and according style door with magnets so it's not just a sheet covering the opening like other places. Even the gentlemen who did my checkin was friendly and efficient. Helped to have the prework done.

Mind you, this is a brain scan to see if my brain may be bleeding and causing my 15 day fever. They just called to say they overbooked my appointment and the soonest they could get me in was in 3 week. I could be dead by then so I told them to cancel. Going to pay extra for the ER I guess. Again, go with another imaging company if you can; they are absolutely the worst and don't give a crap about their patients.
