I needed them to call in an RSV vaccine prescription to HEB pharmacy - I called at 8 am and when I went to the pharmacy at 140 pm they still hadn't done it. I called Happy Health and they did it in 10 minutes. I am going to be transferring my primary care to Happy Health. As everyone there from the receptionist to the doctors treat their patients like important customers. I'd give them a zero if there was a star that low.

Dr. Romanik was the first doctor here then his daughter Dr. Wheeler took over the practice over the years. I have come here. My whole family has come here and the quality of service has never changed. My dad loves everybody. Here takes care of him.

Sign in at the kiosk, sit down, go to the desk when your name is called. I had prepaid, so I handed Michele my paperwork. The phlebotomists moved quickly. When I was called, Michele, a woman of many talents, turned out to be a phlebotomist, too. I'm used to getting finger sticks for INR, but a venipuncture was required. I DIDN'T EVEN FEEL THE NEEDLE GO INTO MY VEIN, which Michele found on the first try! Usually, I'm like a pin cushion when others have drawn blood from me. SHE IS GREAT! Robert, whom is allegedly one of the owners contacted me, apologized and told me he'd have someone verify my benefits and get back with me, it's been over a week and not one person has gotten in contact with me. I don't know what kind of game they're running, but I am going to find a different DR for my husband and myself. My husband likes the DR he sees, I like the psychiatrist that I see, but I can't stay with a group that has no respect for their patients. I don't know if they just want my money and have no desire to return what they are charging from me from every virtual visit that I have or if they think I will just give up. Robert, I told you I was going to leave another review if you didn't do as you promised and have someone check my benefits and give me a call. I have all of the messages between you and I and can prove we had this conversation. I had great hope from our conversation that this would be taken care of, I am extremely disappointed. When I did book my physical with them they cancelled my appointment and reschedule a month out (ok I understand that things happen ) but when I went for my scheduled followup the office was closed and I was never notified. When I tried scheduleling my 2025 they called me to cancel stating it had not been 12 months from my last physical even though my insurance resets in January. Today I showed up for my appointment after being reassured multiple times over the last week that there would be a provider and today there wasn't one. These are just some highlights of my experience.

Even after moving to Austin, I continue to make the drive back and forth to San Marcos just so my son can remain in her care. That's how much she means to us. Her presence, her heart, and her dedication are irreplaceable. From the very beginning, Dr. Fischer has made it her mission to care not only for my son but for me as a mother. That kind of care is rare. I'll never forget one visit when my son was still a baby--I was sitting in the room, completely overwhelmed and silently crying. When Dr. Fischer walked in and saw me, she didn't hesitate--she came over, gave me the warmest hug, and comforted me like she had known exactly what I was feeling. It was a moment of kindness I will never forget. She listens--truly listens. She validates my concerns, never makes me feel inadequate, and gives reassurance in the most compassionate way. There's no condescending advice or rushed appointments--just warmth, gentleness, and care. My son gravitates to her, and it's no surprise. She's so loving, patient, and thoughtful. She remembers the little things, the big things--everything. To this day, if she's not available, I will reschedule or skip the appointment altogether. That's how much we value her. And honestly, we plan to continue seeing her until we physically leave the state. No one else compares--she's set the bar so high that I'm not sure we'll ever find another provider quite like her. They have everything setup very user friendly on the app & online which made setting up appointment very easy and also found they were in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield which was a plus! Parking was not a problem and once I got there a friendly face greeted you and they made the check in process easy. I didn't wait very long and the doctor on duty was very knowledgeable & personable with my care. Will definitely come back!
