Hands down to our favorite tacos spot! They arrive around 5pm daily and start taking orders by 5:15pm. Service is great and always fast and friendly. It's eating outdoors or in your car. Ambiance is family friendly.

This randomly showed up as a 'trending spot' and boyyyy I can see why! The food was absolutely amazing! I got two asada and two pastor tacos and it was done right! I also got the alambre which is enough for two people, easily! There was a line when I got there and my food still came out pretty quickly and piping hot. I highly recommend this place for tacos and more! I will be coming back for sure!

***Location has changed*** The best late-night taco spot in OC!!! Their set up is amazing and what you expect and hope for when it comes to a pop up taco stand. Always clean and tidy! Their Mulitas and Tacos Con Queso are absolutely next level thanks to their freshly cooked meats and amazing salsas. The service is quick, super friendly, and always on point. I'll keep coming back as long as they are setting up!

Went to this taco truck tonight. It was great. The service was standard and the wait was less than 3 minutes. There were many people here and it's a great price for what you get. The taco truck inside was very well cleaned and polished. The ambiance was amazing inside and set-up well! The condiments were low but I asked if she could refill them and she did instantly! The food was to go and it tasted amazing! Go an extra mile away from Chipotle and get these burritos and tacos instead! Better quality, seasoned, and priced.

I can't believe I have lived next to this place for six years and never visited it!! I was starving after the gym today and decided to visit them on a whim and I am so glad I did!! This humble street taco stand is no joke! There are tons of meat option, all of them looking delicious on their own. I got myself a burrito with lengua and pastor with everything in it. I also asked to have some grilled onions inside, and that might have been the best decision I've ever made in my adult life if you don't know what to get, just get what I got I promise it's worth it!! Besides the great food, the workers there are also super friendly. They also take Apple Pay, which is great. My burrito cost $12 and it's totally worth it. ‍‍

Eating here was very surprising. There are excellent flavors they provide with their dishes. the business owners were also kind enough to let my brother and I sample the agua frescas options they had. Burrito with Asada and Tripas: The burrito my brother and I ordered hard Asada and Tripas. The Tripas was cooked so that it was nicely crunchy, but also tender as well. It made the burrito excellent tasting. (5/5) Alambre: the alambre was very flavored with and also spicy. This is a very junky dish (not a bad word). A lot of oil, but a lot of flavor as well. I found myself feeling very filled by this dish. It is definitely an experience. (4/5) Agua de Piña: this tasted very refreshing and hit the spot. (5/5)

Probably best tacos in the area! Especially if you line the La Pastor. They're also quick too.

Whenever we're in the area and see the truck, there's always a crowd, and we always stop by to grab some food. They've never disappointed us. Their salsa is one of our favorite parts--it's flavorful with a good spicy kick. Our usual order: Carne Asada - 7/10 Tender, but a little on the dry side. Lengua - 8/10 Super tender and full of flavor. Al Pastor - 8/10 Well-seasoned with a nice char. Mulitas - 9/10 One of our favorites! Crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Lengua Quesadilla - 9/10 Loaded with tender lengua and definitely worth ordering. We recommend this spot to all of our friends. There's plenty of parking, and the truck is well lit at night. Although the surrounding street is fairly quiet in the evening, it's an easy and convenient stop if you're craving authentic street tacos.

Decided to drop in and was delighted to know their Taco Tuesday special is $1 street tacos for a select handful of 8 protein fillings and $2 for 6 other choices. Even their regular price is still very reasonable. There was definitely a line around 6pm but it moved quickly. Love that they also have a self service taco condiments bar and area on the side of their truck where you can top your food with the freshly sliced or pickled veggies/chilis and slather on various taco sauces to your heart's content. Especially loved that they use a rotating gyro style meat grill for some of their meats. I also noticed they had another truck/van parked nearby where one of the staff would go to replenish some of their supplies for their taco truck. What an efficient way to keep up with demand by having a mobile/secondary vehicle that you can use for storage of stock to keep up with the high demand. I loved all the street tacos that I tried: carnitas, fried fish filet, al pastor, carne asada. Flavorful and done right! Definitely recommend this spot any day of the week when they're open, but especially for their Taco Tuesday specials.

Taquería Mexico: The Incredible Shrinking Taco…read more I remember when this place had lines out the door. Cinco de Mayo, I'm craving tacos, I show up expecting chaos. There's 3 people ahead of me. Jackpot, right? Wrong. They move so slow that a line forms behind me anyway. 15 minutes later I finally order: 2 carne asada, 2 al pastor to go, onion + cilantro on the side, salsa included. $2.65 each, FYI. Get home, crack open the foil, and... are these tacos for ants? I'm not crazy, so I did what any rational adult does: pulled out a food scale. Three tacos, weighed the meat. All came in at _under 1 oz_. Normal tacos run 1.5 oz. These are missing a full half-ounce of dignity. I usually need 2-3 bites per taco. These? One bite. I tested it. Slid right in like a communion wafer. Flavor? Aggressively mid. Carne asada tasted like it gave up halfway through cooking. Pastor was just... there. Nothing offensive, nothing memorable. Like a beige PowerPoint slide. Sides? Salsa bar? Pickled onions, grilled jalapeños, radishes? Nah. This place is a desert. You get foil, meat confetti, and the crushing realization that $2.65 bought you disappointment. Now I know why the line died. Taquería Mexico isn't even phoning it in -- they hung up. Orange County really is the undisputed champion of mid tacos. I live 1 mile from the LA County line and I'm forced to cross it like a taco refugee. Sad, because I _want_ to support brick-and-mortar spots. But not when they're actively shrinking my dinner. Giving them 3 stars on Yelp because I was raised right. Real score: 4.8/10. The pics on their site are pure fiction from 2012. Don't believe me? I took a pic of the meat on my scale as evidence. CSI: Taco Division. Do better, Taquería Mexico. This is shameful.
