Every moment that followed fell nothing short of that... Her care radiates through every hand picked dress, every loving stitch, every word of gentle guidance. I had no clue what I wanted, but as she helped me in and out of each dress with perfect patience... I did find the button so all good. When you arrive at Sew N So they have a sign on the door stating they are going on vacation next week and not taking any new orders. I was disappointed naturally but I chose to speak to the supervisor, owner or manager on duty they were able to assist me and take my sweater. My sweater will be ready for pick up hopefully before they go on vacation this month. People be aware and prepared. Their prices are reasonably and they only accept cash payments last time I checked. She did the initially pinning and then I asked for extras here and there to make it fit my body how I wanted. When it came to my husband's suit, he did his pants, shirt, jacket & vest. His alterations did cost a little bit more than my wedding dress, which is the only reason I brought my rating down just a bit. Maral helped to alter my bridesmaids dress for my sisters wedding. Calling is the way to get ahold…read moreof her and schedule something. She worked around my work schedule which I appreciated. She had me come in to try on my dress so she could take measurements. Her office is small, but she has a changing area in the back corner. She had me try on dress for her and stand on a platform while she pinned. She worked quickly but diligently to pin it all up. I paid her when I dropped off my dress and she gave me a ticket to pick it up. The cost was $80, which I was a bit surprised, i thought it was going to be more, because there were several layers to the dress. I don't get gowns hemmed all the time so I'm not sure if thats comparable or not, but I was satisfied. I dropped off my dress July 6th, and I needed it by September 1st, she scheduled me to come back and pick it up August 10th. The week of August 10th rolls around and I called to confirm the pick up and I had to change the time. She said that was fine, and then let me know that she had to take my dress to dry cleaners, because during alterations it got some sewing machine oil on it. She took care of the cleaning though, and I didn't notice anything wrong with it when I tried it on at home. Thank you Maral for your work!
