As a Black customer, I couldn't help but notice a clear difference in how I was greeted and treated compared to others during all three of my visits--for a consultation, measurements, and when picking up my item. The turn around time can be a bit slow but that's because Tracy has many repeat customers who recognize her alteration skills. I have taken many garments ranging from vintage denim, silk slip dresses, and complicated embroidered Punjabi dresses. Tracy does excellent work with hemming, reconstruction, and taking garments in and out. For non-urgent alterations, I generally receive my item the next week. read more

Best tailor I've ever been to. I work at a retail clothing store and I send all my customers here because I know that they will not be disappointed. She is fast and Her wor is perfect. Here denim hems look just like the original and for only $8.00. Trousers hems are $10.00 and other services are as reasonably priced. I love that I can just walk-in put on my item and she pins it in place and I'm good to go. She usually likes you to give her three days but can do the work faster if you need it. read more

I agree with the first reviewer -- I would recommend this shop to anyone. I had a traditional Chinese dress mailed from Taiwan for my wedding that turned out to be several sizes too big. Tracy altered it so well that relatives asked if I had gone to Taiwan to have it custom made. The price was very reasonable, especially for the high quality of work. I have since had pants altered and a down jacket patched -- these smaller jobs were also done quickly and professionally, at a very good price. read more

I bought a dress about two months ago (online) and everything fit perfectly except in the chest area it was too wide and billowed out. Also I haven't even worn it and the straps were ripping. I came here about 5 years ago to hem my prom dress and she did a wonderful job then. I came in last Saturday, she had me try on the dress and then pinned the sides in. I came back to get it today and she had me try it on again and it fit perfectly! Really happy with the job she did and for $18 she fixed the strap and even steamed it for me so it looked perfect read more

Tracy was very nice and had good customer service when I first went in for alterations. She told me my clothes would be ready in a week and when I called on the day they were to be ready, they were not done. I called back the following day and they were still not done. I told them I needed them asap and ended up coming in and waiting for them to finish. The work wasn't bad but it wasn't good. The pants were altered correctly but one of them had visible stitching and uneven lines. The other one was better which I saw Tracy did herself. I've definitely had better alterations at the same price ($15 each pants to take in waist). Kind of bummed I took both of my 90$ pants here but I can live with them. read more

I've been coming to Tracy's sewing for many years for alterations and recently dry cleaning. Hem's are quite cheap but other alterations are kind of costly. They always do a great job and my alterations are usually done within a week. read more

I couldn't be more happy with my experience at Tracy's. I had a regular seamstress that I went to but when I brought them 3 pairs of jeans that needed work he didn't want to put in the work and wanted to charge me $20 a leg = $120.00! I took my jeans to Tracy's she said she would have them done in a week and only charged me a total of $35. I dropped them off on a Friday and by Monday they were done, sooner than promised. And the work that was done was so much better than my previous seamstress. I highly recommend Tracy's to anyone. Looks like I found my new regular! read more

She even took my sister's wedding dress home to work on it outside of work hours because she was so busy but wanted to ensure she'd get it done. And she did it by hand because it was so detailed. I went to this place because it was the best rated on Yelp. I needed my wedding dress taken in because I lost 15lbs, so I thought going here would be good enough since everyone is so crazy over Tracy's. Well I was wrong. I initially took it in, and she pinned it to fit, but I asked her if I could bring in a bra to have sewn into the breast for a fuller look. She said yes, so I brought one in I found a week later. She took the dress out a bit, so the bra would fit and repinned it. She told me she wouldn't sew the bra in until she made sure it fit from the alteration. I got a call from her a week later saying it was done. I came in to try it on, and it was way too tight. I took the bra off (she hasn't sewn it in at this point yet) and it was still way too tight. She said she didn't know what happened, and accused me of gaining weight. In a week? I don't think so! I've been a steady 124lbs this whole time, and if I've done anything, it's lost weight from stress!! Then she had the audacity to ask for more money to fix it!! I was so devastated and pissed because she ruined my wedding dress. Don't go here unless you want your wedding dress ruined!! read more
