And there was plenty of quality machines and conditioning equipment too. Felt perfectly safe with Covid protocols. If I've lived in Bellingham this would be my gym. Will be back when back in area.

Super friendly staff, easy signup process.. they accept Senior fitness programs like Silver Sneakers and Silver&Fit and if you have those, the only cost to you is the $10 fee for the membership card, and that's doable, right? Absolutely immaculate equipment and locker room; I was disappointed that you have to provide your own lock but no biggie.. There's a good selection of classes to choose from and they're included in the membership and my opinion is, classes are much more fun and compelling than just trudging along solo on a treadmill or pumping out reps, y'know? The only downside (to me) is they don't have a hot tub or sauna.. but they do have nice showers with endless hot water, which can be soothing... Jessica is a fantastic person and somebody who helped me out a great deal with my goals, without trying to hustle me into buying gimicky products or expensive sessions. I learned so much from her and her passion/energy is also represented in every square inch of the gym. Always renovating; bringing in new equipment, establishing relationships with clients, etc. It's amazing what her and her husband have accomplished with such little space to work with. It is a small gym but it's also one where it's never overcrowded and has just about anything you would need or ask for. So if you're in the mood for a great workout without the typical hassle of other gyms, this is the place to go. Highly recommend.

I paid the owner cash up front for three months membership, I showed him my drivers license and signed a list of basic rules and regulations. Standard procedure. The times I go, I have seen many shady people around the property and handful of shady gym members as well. One day this week a guy came in after he sat in the parking lot for 30 min, after everyone left but me, he came in, he had on a heavy trench coat, a hat and dark sun glasses on a sunny day. We were alone in the gym, I left immediately. For the most part it has been an ok experience. Until I went recently and the owner was there. I waved a friendly hello, he looked at me like he saw a ghost. I was there about an hour. After the owner walked by me several times looking at me like he wanted me to leave, he finally walked up to me and asked me how I got in & what is my name. I reminded him that I paid him cash for a membership for three months. He asked me to step outside and re scan my key fob so he can make sure ... .... .... Which of course I did. He says ok ok and walks away quickly. I went to his office that he ran to and asked was everything ok, was my membership ok, he said yes it is showing he never turned around to acknowledge me. Rude! I left right away. He was very unfriendly. This is after a 20 something guy was in there obviously recording people working out on his phone and laughing. If you want to grow your business maybe take better care of the people that choose your facility!

It seemed that this gym is well-established and has a following that has been together for years. On this, my first visit, I was greeted by a few others, who were friendly and welcoming. The workout was tough, as was to be expected, and truly kept us challenged at all levels throughout. The gym stands alone but is somewhat unassuming as you drive by. Plenty of parking on site (and likely on the street) is available.

Must try! Life changer!…read more It has been 4 months since I joined the CrossFit X family and I LOVE it. I had done CrossFit in my late 20's/early 30's then took a break and did other types of exercise (running, hot yoga, traditional gym, Carolyn Gilvan YouTube workout programs)... 10 years and 2 kids later I was starting to feel old and out of shape at 41. I had a ski injury and my PT recommended CrossFit at another local gym. I visited that gym, felt super intimidated and did not join. A few years later a friend invited me to CrossFit X and from day 1 I felt so welcomed. For the first few months I did Cam Hashemi's classes only. He is an awesome coach!! And helped me get through the difficult stage of getting back to it. Now I am feeling stronger, happier, I have more energy, and my home life is improved. Yes, I have lost some weight (7lbs), but mostly I look and feel better. My husband was so inspired, he also joined. And our kids age 3 and 6) sometimes accompany us. The 9am class is my favorite, lots of inspiring moms. I hope you give this gym a try or drop by of a workout when in town.

I love how the work outs are small groups with really awesome coaches, every single coach has been so helpful with form, offering alternative movements if needed, giving helpful feedback while also encouraging you to lift heavier and push harder and I feel like every coach truly wants you to be the healthiest strongest person you can be! All the coaches and the owner Jake are so friendly and make the work out classes fun but challenging. They are all so knowledgeable about nutrition and fitness, they're all so amazing and so great at helping to keep you motivated! All the other members are so encouraging too, it really makes a difference when the other people doing the work out with you and pushing themselves just as hard if not harder and are super friendly while encouraging you to push yourself too. I've had such an awesome experience at this gym unlike any other gym I've attended. The community this gym has created is truly one of a kind! My only regret is not finding them sooner! I really love the structure of the work outs with the hour classes having portions for strength training and portions endurance training. I personally really enough being able to focus on trying to lift heavy and really work certain muscle groups and then finishing the work out off with another portion to really get your heart rate going. The nutrition plan I started with the 6 week program was really well thought out and all the food was tasty, nothing was bland or boring. Every meal I felt full and wasn't craving more food. I also made some new recipes that I really love and still make for myself from it! I highly recommend this gym, every work out and check in meeting with Jake throughout the 6 week program have all been so positive, encouraging, inspiring, motivating and honestly really fun!!

Unlike some other gyms, you can tell the trainers sincerely care about you as a person and helping you attain your fitness goals. They also have 6 week challenges, personal training and Jurassic Snacks onsite for some tasty post-workout treats. Although this type of bootcamp style workout (burpees, mountain climbers, flipping huge tires,etc) does not appeal to me, it motivated me to get back on track with exercise I do enjoy. Highly recommend lab Athletics for those looking for a grueling workout and fantastic, professional and motivating and experienced trainers.
