I've been a member at the Georgetown location for approximately 6 years & remain impressed with the customer care & service. The staff is always welcoming, the gym is always clean, and the trainers are always helpful in that they listen to their clients. You don't receive a black & white workout plan -- it is personalized according to your goals and, if applicable, your health "obstacles". Technology has evolved including, just recently, replacing the entry key fob with your AFit app! Periodically through your membership, your body is analyzed by a state of the art measuring device that measures more than just your weight & BMI. With Active&Fit, you can't access this Anytime Fitness. Basically, if you have Active&Fit, you can go to pretty much any Anytime Fitness since that's what the membership comes with, except this one (I've been to probably 5 other ones in the Austin area). It doesn't state that anywhere on their website and I was going here for a few months since I moved to Georgetown. One day as I was getting ready to work out, the manager rudely came over and hit me with a "tomorrow is your last day here". No explanation or anything. The gym itself is mid. There is 1 squat rack, albeit no one really uses it because of the fitness goals of gym-goers to this location, but the gym can get crowded real quick even if there's only 4 people in there. If there's a class going on, forget about it and just come back later. I do have to say that the staff other than the manager which I only had the pleasure of interacting with that one day are really friendly and it's too bad it didn't work out. Hopefully one of them takes over as manager of this location so no one gets treated as disrespectfully as I did. read more

I love being able to go to ANY Anytime gym. But you know what? The one in Georgetown is the best I have used. It is clean, the staff is friendly and they know their stuff. I am always greeted with a smile and a hey. They know me by name. My husband and I joined over 4 years ago and are still going, which is the longest I've ever maintained a membership. Clean, a bit small, but everyone is friendly. Emphasis on clean! Probably not the best gym if you're looking for major gains but it has basically everything you need to stay fit! It's a bit pricier than most gyms but you get what you pay for. read more

This gym is amazing! They have so much stuff in such a little space compared to other gyms. It's my knowledge that the gym that is closer to me in Liberty Hill does not have a tanning facility, but this location in Georgetown does! They also have a Hydro massage machine which has literally saved my life after every workout- ROFL! The staff is amazing, friendly and I feel like I'm working out at my HS field house! I love the energy and how they address any issues immediately. The only recommendations I would make is to possibly put up a couple more signs to remind people that are working out there to sanitize their equipment before and after use. Especially nowadays it's crucial that we all do our part to keep items as clean as possible. I understand, however, that even if posters were plastered to people's heads, wiping down equipment may still not happen. It's just the way the cookie crumbles . The second thing I would like to be able to do is bring my 10 year old in with me to do some light cardio. I definitely understand liability issues, but it would be neat to have that function. Other than that I LOVE THIS LOCATION and I will never go anywhere else! I can't wait to be in a position where I can begin personal training. This business is shady AF. Robbing a single mother of 3 during a pandemic after she repeatedly told them that she lost her job and she can not afford $50 per week for personal training that they could not even provide. She has repeatedly tried to cancel the contract. She has repeatedly disputed this with her bank and their collection lackeys continue to find ways to charge her account, eating up what little unemployment benefits she gets and overdrawing her account thus triggering $32 overdraft fees for legitimate expenditures like food and medical care for her disabled son. Services were not rendered. The contract was not fulfilled. The manager Jessica is dishonest, disingenuous, lacks compassion and unhelpful to say the least. Shame on you Anytime Fitness. I will be contacting the Texas Attorney General's office and filing a grievance on my friend's behalf. read more

Do NOT sign up for a "free" trial with this Anytime Fitness location unless you are planning on continuing as a member. I paid a "refundable" $65.90 to try this gym for one week. After using it once, I decided it was not for me. However, I had to make a last-minute trip to Dallas. Upon calling from Dallas to speak with the manager (within this 7-day period), I was told my trial was cancelled and I could return the key fob once I arrived back in Georgetown, "no problem." I made sure he was aware I was out of town, and I was reassured that it would be alright if I did not get the key fob back to them within the week. I was given absolutely no new deadline for this. Despite this conversation with Shaun, I came back to Georgetown to find that apparently I had missed a deadline and would not be getting my $65.90 refunded. He even told me that he didn't inform me of a deadline because of an assumption, as he "thought [I] would be back sooner." That is absolutely no excuse. If Shaun had informed me of the deadline, I would have headed back to Georgetown sooner and gotten the key fob to him by then. Or I would have taken full responsibility myself and understood that a refund was not an option beyond that date. However, I was never told a deadline. It was simply "whenever you get back into town." He was not transparent with me and completely misled me. I cannot afford to spend $65.90 for an hour workout... I used the gym once and then didn't go back because I had cancelled my account (or so I thought, according to my conversation with Shaun). The employees are corrupt and deceiving. Do NOT register here. I have had much better experiences at Planet Fitness, Gold's Gym, and Orange Theory. read more

This place should be called Blue Hair Fitness. It's literally a meet up place for the Sun City people and they congregate around the most used machines and talk about the paper and the Follies Show. I don't know how many times they've double billed me on my monthly payment. They also conveniently added tanning and the water massage to my membership about 2 months after my first contract. Oh the best part is, the water massage table rarely works and none of the staff members know how to fix it. So if you're a fan of paying double for a gym the size of a UPS Store, a fan of equipment that's always broken, a fan of giving yourself black eyes simultaneously, a fan of a Blue Hair Social hour that never ends, then this is the place for you. Oh yeah--forget getting help from staff or corporate with any admin problems like double billing or contractual issues--they never talk to each other and never get answers. Even corporate won't respond to messages, emails, etc. Total sh*t show. read more

As far as gym equipment goes- there isn't too much to offer. However, to get a healthy body and mind, you don't need fancy stuff. What matters to me is a facility that is CLEAN and safe. And this place is a 10 out of a 10 for cleanliness. I've only come in 4 times so far and every time there is a staff member cleaning. Shawn, the owner, is very sweet and makes you feel right at home and comfortable and goes above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied with your gym experience. For a convenient location in Georgetown that won't break the bank, this place is your best option! read more

I would give this company and all that work for it 0 if I could. Exceptionally rude on all levels. First time I came in, I had to pay. Didn't get a complimentary anything. Not even hospitality. After inquiring about membership (which is extremely expensive for the equipment they have to offer) I was met with, that's what we have, deal with it attitude. In trying to cancel my policy, which I guess is next to impossible, everyone was a dick. I have only stepped foot in the facility to sign the contract and then do deal with trying to cancel it. The company has no heart and are only after money. It's sad that there is no competition for gyms in Georgetown. Hoping that changes soon. read more

I've been a member for 6 years. During this time the gym has moved to a larger space, has added and updated equipment. Yes it's close to Sun City and there are several Silver Fit classes so there are older folks as members. Majority not! Very clean all the time. I've never had probs with management or billing. When there was a concern, I spoke to the manager Shawn who took care of it immediately! Anytime is 'almost' as good as it gets! Need an ocean view for that! read more

I have transferred in to this new location from the Jarrell, TX gym, which is new and very state of the art. I now only live 2 miles from the Georgetown location and was excited that they may upgrade the equipment with the move. Well the weight machines and free weights are all new but less than 10% I would guess of the cardio equipment was upgrade. There are less than 8 treadmills only two are new and there seems to always be 2 or more broken. Sad as the place is really nice. Wish there was another choice closer... read more

These people are straight Nazis! My wife went in to change her address from Killeen to Georgetown Tx. They slipped in a 2 yr contract extension without comment. Being such a routine matter, & having no reason to distrust them, at this point, she just signed the papers & returned to work. Now, even after being made aware of the fraud perpetrated against her, they insist on pursuing the matter by referring us to the credit bureau to make us pay the 2 yr contract. Is this really how this company makes their money?! They need to be boycotted. And we need to file a class action lawsuit against them to stop these predatory practices. read more

Matt (manager) gave me a great, inexpensive 7-day membership, a quick tour of the gym, and let me go about my business (even gave me a complimentary water bed massage).
