Three years of lifting here. Overall a positive experience. The staff is great. But: many of the…read moremachines are not bolted down so they slide around as you lift. The squat racks are amateurishly placed in the middle of the workout floor far from mirrors. The biggest issue is just basic cleanliness. The water fountain is consistently filthy. I have notified the owner about this on numerous occasions. To no avail. I mean, how much time and effort does it take to wipe down a drinking fountain? We are drinking from this cesspool. First of all, the gym itself is much larger than you would realize just driving by it! There is the upstairs is where the treadmills live, along with other cardio machines, cable machines, and more. Downstairs there are two other rooms that connect, free weights in both. A couple things that I noted about this gym is that while yes they have a lot of equipment, there isn't much of a warm up area for stretching nor is there yoga mats, bands, or stuff like that (at least not downstairs). A lot of the equipment is kinda old, and I would imagine that it would take a bit of prior planning to structure a workout where you're not going back and forth from room to room for each exercise. Also take a few times there to get a feel for where all the different things are. Parking situation can be a little crowded since they share a parking lot with other businesses. Love the 24 hour access option here though, so depending on the when you go you can really feel like you have the gym to yourself! Overall, I don't have many complaints, just didn't feel like this gym was a fit for me!

I've had a mixed experience with this studio. The front desk staff are always friendly and easy to…read morecommunicate with. I appreciate how they try to help whenever I have questions. However, when I actually need assistance from the manager (Elisa?), it has been frustrating. I have been trying to get in contact for over a month and have not received a response, despite multiple follow ups. Each time I contact the studio, they say they've made a note for the GM and that I should hear back soon, but nothing happens. Additionally, I want to mention that there's an employee who makes the studio environment feel uncomfortable. He often appears unprofessional and unhygienic, including having noticeable bad breath, and I frequently see him vaping outside the studio entrance. He does not represent this studio very well. I think the studio itself has a lot of potential and great employees, but communication from management and maintaining a professional environment are areas that really need improvement.

So I want to say Ed has everything a gym needs. His attention to detail is far superior than the over crowded CF gyms around the world. I've been a member of 2 separate CF gyms in Orange County & La County and visited a 3rd in LA. 1 coach per 20-30 members not good! Spent some time after the workout speaking with Ed he knows what he's talking about. You can smell a bull shit a mile away & there was no smell of it at Phys ED! I'm 38 I've been lifting weights since I was 13. I've done boxing, Muay Thai, CRossfit, spent 4 years active duty in the Marine Corps Infantry 0311/0341. I've ran mud runs obstacle runs half marathons weighted runs I've hiked 30milers with 80+ lbs on my back I've operated in jungle environments 100% humidity I've operated in desert 120+ degrees over operated up at 10,000+ feet elevation with gear on gear in mountain environment I know a little about fitness. And I've been pushed to the limits & ED does his job his homework great place makes me wish I was living in Salem!
