I have climbed thousands of floors, attended plenty of classes, weighed myself many times on the BMI scale,and cried plenty of tears here. Going to a gym can be intimidating especially for newbies. I have always felt welcomed here. The group fitness classes are absolutely superb. All of the instructors are very passionate about the classes they teach. I have been to the most classes with Jacqueline and she is an excellent teacher. She makes sure the classes are always welcoming and always keeps the class exciting with a new routine. If you're looking to kickstart your health journey, MFC is definitely a good place to be!

Best of all it is a place for all, for those who are causal attendees when just "in the mood," to those who are there 5+ days every week, from super fit to those who need to be fit, from young folks to "middles" and to seniors working to live healthy to 100. It has everything our favorite gym had but an even better environment. The gym is busy at all hours but never so busy you feel crowded or have issues using equipment. It's always clean, nothing sits broken or unusable and when the weather permits, having the garage doors open is so nice. Ballast is by far the best gym on the coast.

This gym is 24 hours and $10 for a day pass, $35 for a week pass, $70 for a couple. Very strict rules about not being anyone with you to try out the gym unless they pay that day pass fee. This gym does provide life alert type pendants to wear while you're working out if you have health concerns, which is an amazing thing to offer.

Then back to the normal dirt and dust bunnies and sand everywhere. It's especially bad right now. I've heard supposedly a staff is injured? So ... nobody else can run a broom? This one is top tier in all categories fitness - great equipment, lots of options, new and always working machines, lighting and space, amazing staff ... all the best I've seen literally worldwide. Other gym members that I've encountered are respectful and considerate...except for two guys that run on the treadmill while insisting on simultaneously having a conversation they barely have breath for...you know who you are. I am writing to report serious cleanliness and safety concerns at the spa. Over the past two…read moremonths--while visiting daily--I observed persistent mold around the rim of the spa, on the walk-in support handle, and on the window sills. I have never seen the sauna or hot tub room cleaned during that time. On two occasions I became extremely ill after visits and feared for my health. I asked staff who were cleaning the steam room to address the hot tub area and window sills, but they failed to do so. I also discovered a large clump of pubic hair in the public steam room, which is unacceptable. Despite maintaining my membership and returning sporadically to check for improvements, conditions have only worsened. Additionally, I experienced disrespectful and inappropriate behavior from other patrons while in the sauna: I was mocked, whistled at, and even approached in a way that felt like harassment. I witnessed underage girls making advances toward patrons, which is deeply troubling for a facility that should be safe and peaceful. These issues indicate a pattern of poor cleanliness practices and inadequate supervision. I will be reporting these concerns to the local health department. I urge management to address sanitation practices, staff training, and patron conduct immediately to ensure the facility is safe and welcoming for all guests. Most of the equipment has been poorly maintained and or is broken as well. Its best to be honest so here you go, this place has a sign in the front of the building saying they have the finest spa in the area, not true.

Even after 3 months off during the first year for illness and surgeries, I recently completed 100 workouts and received a prize and certificate. All of the instructors are knowledgeable and encouraging, and the staff is friendly and know you by name. People of all ages and sizes are welcome with open arms.
