Great host and great personalities. We stopped by for a 2 hour session and it was worth the time. The atmosphere is safe and cozy. The water was a warm 90+ degrees even though it was rainy and cold outside. They had nice jazz music playing with we were there which made it even more relaxing. We know how to handle the cold. The freezing cold. But even in the dead of winter, we deserve this resort-style pool day, if we do say so ourselves. They provide a nice private bathroom for changing and a shower for cleaning up afterwards. Nothing beats a hot shower after being in chlorine. They can't promise the sun, but they can promise some fun with the indoor pool. May be the thing to chase the winter blues away. It's the PNW, it's winter most of the time! Once you are ready to get into the warm pool, they have ride-on-inflatables, rings, beach balls, dive toys, floating basketball, pool volleyball and much more. So what are you waiting for? The play area is for little kids so if your kid is older, they're squished into a portion of the cold lap pool and left to fend off giant floaties and pool toys. I took a dip in it a few days ago and the water was cold, cloudy and thick from sunscreen. Meanwhile, the outdoor lap lanes, hot tub and both indoor pools are for adults only. The other 9 months of the year is even worse. Family swim is only a couple hours on several days and it's restricted to the small warm pool only. No big pool, no lap lanes and no hot tub. Still battling floaties and dodging squirt guns. I'm opting to install a swim spa in the backyard so we can actually swim as a family and spread out. A much better investment.

When they did, there were more things to sign, then she was told we would revisit the safety meeting Aug 18, then she was told the fallowing Thursday she had to be out that's tomorrow! She is not assertive, she doesn't speak up, she is scared and overwhelmed (which is why you needed to work with me). She is quiet and respects everyone, she cleans up after herself and others! Why is this an OK thing to do? Shame on you YWCA!! If you're resident has a caregiver you need to work with that person. Shame on you!! You have been more of a hindrance than help, she was given a list of not local apartments, offered to pay her 1st month, she has no income. Shame On you!! For causing her more anxiety and stress than she already had. Shame on you! I deeply love those I provide care for! I feel this is unacceptable.
