I really enjoy this gym. It has everything you need for a solid workout--plenty of free weights, machines, and cardio equipment. The space is always clean, well taken care of, the staff are friendly and always willing to help if you need anything. On top of that, the membership is affordable, so you get great value without sacrificing quality. Overall, it's the perfect place to stay consistent and I like the fact that people are serious about their workouts, which makes it easy to focus. Glad I found this gym in the mountains! read more

What an awful experience. To be fair, I'll preface this by saying it's open 24 hours, clean and equipment was in good condition. The purpose of this to warn people beyond that, about the absolutely disgusting business practices beyond the gym itself so you don't get into the same mess I did. My husband made the mistake of signing up a week or two before I did and was billed an additional $20 more per month than I was...why? Because they dropped the prices shortly after he signed up. We asked when I signed up if they would honor the newly reduced price since he had just signed up less than 30 days ago, but they said nope. We were locked into a contract. Okay, fair enough. That should've been our first red flag to run, but we paid $60 and $40 for identical memberships for the duration of the entire year. The problem was when I made the mistake of referring a friend there to get a membership, and he did. They were offering a referral program at the time, and I just so happened to "win" a free month for the referral. Matt called me and a left a message. I returned the call later that day and left a message. I didn't hear anything after that. I didn't get my free month, that month so I thought maybe it would just be applied to the end of my membership. Wrong. Apparently in order to "collect" the free month I had won, I was required to take a photo in the gym...which was never EVER communicated to me. I was apparently just supposed to magically know this. A month or so later I again inquired about my free month via email to ask if it could be applied to my last month of my contract that was coming up. This was when I was told by Matt that I "forfeited" my free month because I never had my picture taken. This took me by surprise because they told me I won it, but not that a photo was REQUIRED. Matt also stated within this email that he saw my husband in the gym in passing and had discussed this with him. This was also news to me...especially since my husband's membership clearly has nothing to do with mine (by their standards even) since we were on separate contracts with separate pricing. So they collected an additional $20 per month for an entire year from my husband, got another member with a full year contract through me, and then refused to give me a free month of service as they had promised. Great way to do business. So in a nutshell: the gym itself is ok, but If you like honorable people who are honest and don't screw others just because they can, this isn't the place for you. Definitely try Yosemite strength and training instead. read more

Was visiting from out of town and decided to stop in for a workout. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Super easy to pay for a 1-day pass. Well maintained gym. Clean and lots of great equipment. They have so much extra workout accessories - way more than any other gym I've been to. Tons of jump ropes, kettlebells, soft plyo boxes, different types and sizes of weighted balls, and much more. Most people used the regular machines, which is a shame because they have killer equip for plyo training, HIIT training, and other alternative strength training exercises. Highly recommend this facility. Not busy and a great vibe. read more

Horrible customer service, I do not recommend joining gym . The office was notified i moved out of the area to Coarsegold off Rd 400 in November of 2022. I requested the membership be canceled since the commute to the Oakhurst location was know over 30minutes away. Not only was my request ignored repeatedly. The latest request sent by email JAN 2023. OFFICE STAFF TOOK THE FUNDS FROM MY ACCOUNT53.95 ON 11/4 AND CONTINUE TO CHARGE ME . 11/4 11/21 12/5 12/19 12/13 12/17 1/3 1/7 IF you have to find a place to work out make sure you don't mind being ignored , over charged and taken advantage of. Nice place and a good spot in the old block buster kinda weird with all the windows but you mostly forget about it. The problem was when I signed up I was assured it would be easy to cancel all they needed was proof of address. I made a note that I lived more than 30 miles away as per required to cancel and they assured me I would have no problem leaving. Things happened and I try to cancel and i'm assured it is canceled and so i go a month and get a phone call stating I have late fees. Late fees for what?? Four phone calls later after explaining why I don't have a proof of address because I don't have a address I live in my car. The customer service pretends to understand and assures me that is not a problem and will be taken care of. But the phone calls resume after only a few days and after stating"this will be our last attempt to resolve this issue" they finally explain that they had never actually processed my cancelation and "have no record of it" even though I know they got the email becayse they acknowledged it. They just wanted me to stay longer and pull more money out of me even when I explained to them I could not afford it and can not go to any of their locations. If you can not afford something and have given them the contract and proof of address (that was already hard enough to obtain because I didnt have an address at the time) you would think they would be able understand and help you quickly. But no. I was very upset with that and customer service was not understanding of that. It's a nice gym all in all very clean. Rather pricey for the size although. If you go during peak hours it's always uncomfortable too. I went at night to avoid that but the windows made it weird too. read more
