This gym has an excellent vibe. The owners and staff are super friendly and professional. It is clean and well-lit, with WiFi. May look small from the outside, but we love it.

But lately this past week before labor day, the AC unit has been down for God knows how long and I'm sure the plumbing is backed up, because it smells like something straight up died in there. It's a nice, little gym with a decent set of equipment. But my friend and I are very disappointed with the lack of concern and action the owners seem to not have. If they want this place to thrive, then they need to step it up and take care of their customers... I WANT to like this gym. I really do. Dana, front desk, is very kind, professional, accommodating, communicative & understanding when I had to schedule & move appointments around. Carolyn is a jewel; knowledgeable, kind, healing, and will give you the right exercises and game plan for your "home work". Pauline is such a gem as well. Very caring, makes sure that you're progressing, very down to earth and fun to talk to and I will truly miss working with her. I attribute most of my progress to her! And there's Karen, who I didn't get to know well enough but definitely a wonderful healer that "made the cut" as being another amazing addition to their team. They truly have the best staff ever, and even rotate music genres so you have some decent music playing while you're being treated. I am glad I am almost all the way healed now, as I thought my injury was permanent so the progress was truly a surprise. My wife and I recently became full timers and we stayed at Park of the Sierras looking for a place…read moreto visit our son. After staying for nine days we found out that you had to become an escapee's member and the cost was $49. To join for one year. The park refunded this in a free night credit. While staying here we met the park manager and took a tour after finding out they are a 55+ members park. After reviewing the park information and seeing what a beautiful park this was we decided to make this our home base. We travel to many places after retirement but found that we needed a place to hang out hat for Dr. appointments, and staying connected with our family in the Central Valley. We bought in and picked our site. The unique nature of living here is that the members here all volunteer to help keep cost down to run the park. This gave us a sense of ownership and community. We volunteer 3 days per week for approximately 4 hours per day and join in on special events to help set up or organize events that are for the members. It's not like having a job but more like going to hang out with folks that have the same interests. There is constantly an event going on weather you like to play cards, pool, dominoes, darts, working out , or outdoor activities like pickle ball or mini golf the fun is endless. This amazing place has beautiful views of the Sierra foothills and there's even a casino across the mountain. Becoming a member here has given us a place to call home in between our travels and our site remains ours when we're in the park. If you're thinking of becoming a full timer or if you're looking for a great place to glamp, this is the place!
