This is a good gym, very accessible. Now that it has an Arc - which is my favorite machine - it's perfect. There is usually plenty of room and time on most machines available - probably due to being open 24 hours, so people can spread out when they come. We have also used the Corvallis gym, and while we like it, it is usually way too full of people - we like the quieter atmosphere in Philomath. We started going to the Philomath gym when we lived there, but continue to go now that we've returned to Corvallis. It's what we want in a gym, and we are older and going for staying healthy and active, not buff - but there are enough young and buff people going that it must meet their requirements as well. Consistently nit-picking, about guidelines, and personal inconsistency about visitors, though these guidelines were followed to the best of our knowledge. Failed to put out the "visitors waiver" paper, for us to fill out correctly for near two weeks, and still called upon us to make certain that they filled out. And additionally informed us that we then, had no option to bring visitors any longer. read more

If you like REALLY BAD customer service then this place is for you!! Under new ownership ... Well I'm here to tell you that NEW is not always BETTER. I was expressing my frustration with the woman at the desk and all she kept mentioning were contracts almost like she wasn't listening to me. I could not believe it when she said that she was the new owner. I wish I could give this place 0 Stars. It's not just the customer service but the gym it's self. They may have added new paint and a few pieces of equipment but this place is still small and doesn't offer any services such as classes, tanning, etc. For the hundreds of dollars you have to shell out yearly for a membership to this place you would think they would have more perks like other gyms. I would be willing to chalk up the size and lack of equipment to small town charm if it weren't for the complete disregard to customer service. read more

Clean, affordable gym with super-friendly owner! Good size cardio area, plenty of free weights, two squat racks, and a whole array of weight training machines for a full body workout. Owner is investing in new flooring and audio system for televisions. Glad to have a solid place to workout in town! read more

This club is a joke! Unless you're wishing to buy more of their inferior services do not expect to get any kind of customer service. I cancelled my membership and they still charged me for an extra month and trying to get a refund for something I shouldn't have been charged for has been a nightmare. The club owner is apparently the only person who can actually do anything and she's rarely in or even reachable. The club is VERY small and doesn't even offer towel service. Take your money elsewhere! read more

Under new ownership since 2016! (The other review on here was from over 3 years ago). We recently joined and LOVE IT! This is a great gym with a wonderful staff. Kim and Daniel are hands on owners who really care about providing a great gym for their members. I love that it's never too crowded and it's open 24-7, so no excuse not to work out. The monthly membership fee is very reasonable and they even offer a free trial and guest passes, so you can see for yourself. read more
