Unfortunately, I have to give them this review and to warn prospective members: Back in June I put my membership on hold for 90 days after an injury. When they 90 days was up and it was clear to me that I could no longer work out, I contacted them through their website contact form to cancel my membership. I just found out that they've been charging me for the last two months. When I contacted them the manager was very kind and said she'd look into securing a refund -- knowing that I did not once enter the building for the last six months -- and did follow up. But they are refusing to provide a refund, stating that they have no record of my email on their end. But that is not my fault or responsibility. I'm disappointed and would caution any members or prospective members to make sure you have a paper trail of everything.

People sit down at a machine and look at their phone for 15 minutes while only exercising for one minute. At times I've waited 45 minutes to get on a machine while only two people used it during that time. It's pretty frustrating. It doesn't help to ask to work in a set. The response is always the same - " I'm almost done". It gets even worse. It's not unusual to see someone put their water bottle and phone on a machine, thus staking a claim, then walking away to use the restroom, talk to friends, etc. If your objective is to get a full workout, plan on spending several hours there to do it.

It seems that there is always a piece of equipment that is "out of service" ... they wait until something breaks, before doing the maintenance on it. It isn't unusual for equipment to be "out of service" for more than a month. My biggest beef with this gym, is although they have a good set of "Gym Use Rules" ... pretty much the standard set for any good gym, they do not enforce these rules AT ALL! It's not uncommon for circuit machines to be tied up with members that aren't actually using the equipment ... they just need a place to sit and surf the net comfortably. There are a lot of courteous gym members there but it only takes a few to really get in the way of getting your routine finished. I think this is a legitimate complaint, a common complaint for many gyms, but unfortunately as I said ... the facility is undermanaged, if managed at all. They do not "do complaints".

Also serves a diverse and under served clientele, a lot of the people "working out" here you can tell it's their first time. Private showers. It costs me about $35 a month. Cons: Stark lighting (to bright perhaps?), weird open (not considered) layout (it has weird acoustic issues). For instance you can have people having a conversation with each other from 20 feet away with two people sitting and working in-between. No towel service, chemical wet whips everywhere, no attendants the majority of the day (doesn't always feel safe or clean), draconian monitoring (cameras) of your every move (I know it's needed because it's not attended, but it still little creepy), it's sort of basic. It's in a tight badly designed side of a strip mall and mall's vendors have restrictive parking.

I am writing to report serious cleanliness and safety concerns at the spa. Over the past two…read moremonths--while visiting daily--I observed persistent mold around the rim of the spa, on the walk-in support handle, and on the window sills. I have never seen the sauna or hot tub room cleaned during that time. On two occasions I became extremely ill after visits and feared for my health. I asked staff who were cleaning the steam room to address the hot tub area and window sills, but they failed to do so. I also discovered a large clump of pubic hair in the public steam room, which is unacceptable. Despite maintaining my membership and returning sporadically to check for improvements, conditions have only worsened. Additionally, I experienced disrespectful and inappropriate behavior from other patrons while in the sauna: I was mocked, whistled at, and even approached in a way that felt like harassment. I witnessed underage girls making advances toward patrons, which is deeply troubling for a facility that should be safe and peaceful. These issues indicate a pattern of poor cleanliness practices and inadequate supervision. I will be reporting these concerns to the local health department. I urge management to address sanitation practices, staff training, and patron conduct immediately to ensure the facility is safe and welcoming for all guests. Most of the equipment has been poorly maintained and or is broken as well. Its best to be honest so here you go, this place has a sign in the front of the building saying they have the finest spa in the area, not true.

Free weight section is good, smith machines, and some squat racks too! Day passes are approx. $15 Staff was unbelievably friendly and always available if you needed anything. All-in-all, I like this place. She was being very condescending. I told her I shouldn't pay because I emailed them & paid for my last month, like stated in the policy. I asked for the number of someone who could actually help me and treat me with respect and she directed me to this link to email them. While on the phone, paying for the month I should NOT have paid for, I emailed them stating my situation and how I was being disrespected by their manager. She started laughing over the phone saying "by the way I got your message". She literally gave me an email to herself after I asked for the contact information of the owner. Such a joke. Will make sure no one goes to this gym.
