Very nice and friendly space. Reece is very welcoming and helpful. I liked how much open space and equipment was available.

I did take a smaller trainer led class to try it out, and I really really liked it. But the price point, after spending a lot/month already is a bit outrageous. The cafe is nice, but the drinks are pricey. $8 for a smoothie? Maybe not. The equipment seems clean, up to date and there is a lot of it. Classes on the second floor, equipment on the third. Showers are nice, water is a little all over the place with the temperature. But good pressure. I wanted a place with good showers and free coffee. Hey, it is the only thing that motivates me to go. Didn't quite get that, but overall I am pleased. Month to month too - I love that. Don't notice the lines at the showers or in the parking lot because I go at 5 am.

So what happens you ask...HQs gets involved and suspends me - you can't make this mess up. When I told them this is easy to solve go look at your surveillance cameras and you will CLEARLY SEE and HEAR what happened, their response, "oh our surveillance system doesn't have audio"...Needless to say, I cancelled my family's membership and will never go back there. When we arrived, we noticed they were following Covid guidelines with equipment cleaning and limited capacity. They had all the equipment we needed (power bars, deadlift bars, metal calibrated plates, deadlift platforms, free weights, etc.) Everyone was really friendly to us newcomers as well. Their daily rate was reasonable and I saw their monthly/yearly prices on the wall and it was super reasonable as well. Be sure to check them out if you're interested in powerlifting or just getting into shape!

They have an area for women to go and work out that is mostly closed off, which makes my wife feel more comfortable. I hope they get the group area together for some boot camp type training. They advertise the gym as open 24hrs. It is open 24hrs but you will pay for xtra to get 24hr gym access. The gym is also closed Sundays, unless you pay for 24hr access. The gym advertises 10$ monthly payments. That's kinda true but not completely. To pay 10$ monthly you will need to make a 120$ initial payment to pay for your first year. Then you will be billed 10$ monthly for 12 months which will bring your bill to 20$ monthly. After 1 year of 20$ monthly payments you will then finally pay 10$ monthly. There is no WiFi for customers to use. In my opinion if they dropped the shady marketing tactics, made the gym 24/7 for everyone, put in WiFi for paying customers and offered a flat fee of 20$ monthly this gym would be the best in Waterford.

Perks: Salon, cafe, pool, climbing wall, hot tub & sauna... Seriously everything you could wish for! The pool is overrun with kids to the point they spill over into the swim lanes so either they are in my way or a random soccer ball gets slammed into my head while swimming. I watched a guy in the hot tub get his glasses knocked off his face and broken by a kid jumping in despite the 18 or older sign. The lifeguards ignore it all. Adult swim time is extremely limited. Wanted to learn Pilates. Class hours are sparse. I took 3 classes but stopped when I hurt my back - the instructor was disinterested. I get closer coaching at independent studios. The kids use the weight machines to sit and scroll on their phones. Not a lot of working out going on while I'm waiting. I never see anyone clean a machine after they use it so I clean before and after each machine use. The locker room bathroom is pretty gross, staff just can't possibly keep up with the crowds. I'm forced to head back to Planet Fitness where membership costs are reasonable. No pool but I can't use it at Lifetime anyway so I may as well stay at Planet Fitness. This is so disappointing, I had high hopes because they have so much to offer. Planet Fitness is closer to home and more adult.
