I joined Anytime Fitness after working out at big box or community gyms for a long time. Anytime Fitness was a great change from what I was use to. The gym provides a cleaning solution and towels for members to wipe down equipment, and the community at Anytime are serious about their workout and sanitize after themselves. One thing I also appreciate is how I've never had to skip a movement because of the equipment was occupied. People do what they need to do and quickly move on. In previous gyms, my fitness journey was negatively impacted because of unmitigated crowds, or people who were busier browsing their phones than getting to work. Anytime has been the better gym in Seattle I've been at. The staff is helpful. The community seems goal-oriented and respectful of others they are sharing a space with. read more

I decided one day to start looking at gyms to hit up while I had free time and this one in particular caught my eye. I left it starred on Google for a couple weeks and eventually decided to schedule an appointment to check it out. Upon my first arrival, I came in anxious, and completely unsure of why I came, and what to do. I was greeted by Francisco, and he welcomed me with open arms. In fact, he joked a lot. The anxiety I had when I first came in completely went away as soon as I met him. He was very informative and very understanding towards how I was, and he helped me to figure out which payment plan would be the best for me. They don't try to scam or get money out of you at all, they will actually help to make you pay less where they can. Their main goal is clearly not money here, but the well being of the people that come through their doors. They have training sessions that can come off a bit pricey, but they are incredibly informative and helpful. Without their guidance, I would feel completely demotivated to keep coming, but what both Francisco and Crisantos have shown is that they care about my fitness journey, and will help in anyway they can. It is not easy going into a gym, as it can be a change in your daily life, and consistency is a big key part of it. Francisco and Crisantos have made the journey worthwhile for me by taking the time to talk and figure out ways to make the journey easier. They care, and they will make time for you, despite the fact that they are a bit understaffed. It's only Francisco and Cristantos running the gym and they have a lot of people every day to train, and run classes with, but you can always see them walking around and ask them for any help or let them know what's going on and they'll always give their two cents. If it wasn't for them, I'd be coming into the gym completely demotivated after the first month, or possibly even week. As for the gym itself, it is pretty small, no lie, but the nice thing is that there are a lot of hours when there isn't too many people, so if you're a socially anxious person like me, don't worry, it's a very welcoming, friendly and calm environment. They have bathrooms with showers, all the cardio equipment you'll need in your life, an area with benches and weights, barbells, abs machines, arms machines, legs machines, and a nice little studio with mirrors. The studio is a very nice touch to the gym, but sometimes they use it for team training, which you can attend any time they have it. Overall, I have been very pleased with my experience here. I came in as a socially anxious, not ready for this type of change, not sure what I was doing type of person, to a I know who I want to be, what I need to do to change it, and what I want, thanks to Francisco and Crisantos. So what are you waiting for? Take a chance on this gym and see what can happen. You'll be surprised with how easy and outgoing this gym can be, and if you're just barely starting your fitness journey, this is the place to do it. I seriously LOVE this gym. I find it dead most of the time which is what I love about it. I'm usually here in the mornings before 8am and it's pretty rare the machines that I need are in use-something that used to drive me completely insane at other gyms. I'll say that I have come in after work, around 5-7 and it seems to pick up. Weekends are pretty quiet as well. This gym has everything you could need, in a surprisingly small space. There's cardio equipment, free weights, machines, and a room with large mirrors that you can do practically anything in. This large room has a punching bag, old school women's dumbbells (that go in 1lb increments), kettle bells, battle ropes, assault bike, you name it. There are no group fitness classes here, but I hear they might be looking to change that and add in yoga. The place is very safe. Well lit on the inside. The parking lot unfortunately, is not. So just make sure you park close to the front door. The Personal training here is great! The personal trainer Terrance is who I had and my workouts with him were highly effective! He really listens to what your goals are and will customize a plan specifically for you. He's very passionate about what he does and you can hear it in the way he talks about health and fitness. He's the manager now, so I'm not sure if he still does personal training? But I'd highly suggest booking a session with him if you get a chance! I didn't think I would return to a gym after many years of servitude... my body screamed otherwise especially since I have reached "THAT" age. I needed convenience, not 24-hour convenience, more like I fall out of bed and poof I'm in a gym. More than convenience, I needed it to be clean and no smell, yes I said it and you in servitude know what I mean --- no booty smell! While convenience and smell are high priorities, I also fancied more luxury at my 'age'... no, not a doorman sort of luxury, more like up-to-date equipment that works and has sanitizing tools at every turn. Back in April I upgraded my membership from basic to platinum but had to cancel the platinum within the 72hr period bc of work. Until now, I am being charged for a platinum membership and after providing proof of the transactions and speaking with managers I've been told they aren't seeing the transactions, they don't know why I'm being charged for a platinum membership, and they don't see an upgrade ever being done. Invoice statements are clearly addressed from them. I've spoken with Mia, Milan, Cameron, and Crisantos in regards to this issue and until now nothing has been done. This gym is filthy. The floor in the studio is always dirty and the walls are completely scratched up. The dumbbells are thrown all over the place on the rack. The one little garbage can they have on the floor is always overflowing. The (three) bathrooms are absolutely disgusting - wet and dirty floors, brown rings around the sink drain, hairs literally stuck to the side of the toilet and they are always out of hand soap. Sorry guys, you need to get a female manager in there, I'm sure things would improve. I hear the Des Moines Anytime Fitness is nice. A little farther to drive but worth it! read more

After i cancelled my membership in LA Fitness, i found this neat and great gym to workout. I got a 7 day pass and signed up after. Not once the gym was crowded at all. Bathroom is always clean as well as the whole place, supply you with spray bottle to clean the machine .Manager Kent is such a nice guy, very helpful and always there keeping the place in order. People that workout there are not like some places , most of them are courteous. I will definitely recommend this place. After 2 years am still working out in this gym, best thing happened a few months ago .. new trainer came Mr Terrance.!!! What a beast!!! He is such a great guy to workout with. Almost kills me sometimes but it is worth it! He is so knowledgable when it comes to training . I no gym rat - but I have been part of a few gyms, planet fitness, 24 hr fitness, pure fitness, la fitness... and no matter what gym i've been to, just like everyone else - it's busiest at the times I go. And maybe I'm basic - because every work out I want to do, is used by someone else. These gyms are massive and the attract everyone that wants to do the same thing as me. Cue AnyTime Fitness. small. simple. clean. no frills. just work outs. and the best part, the busiest I've seen it here since I joined early 2019, is 8 people. My second favorite is that it's truly a 24 hour gym. I get my own key card and just scan when I want to come. Whilst other gyms close at 10pm on a weekday, and i'm sure its due to the crazy overhead of running a 20,000 sq ft facility. So ATF is pretty close to perfect. Ideally, if they had a swimming pool/hot tub/sauna - it'd be worth every penny. But they do have all the basic equipment that one could want in a workout gym. As well as have a separate studio/fitness room with a drop down projector screen in which you can select video lead workouts as well. Membership pricing is a bit higher than competitors, at $40/month, however the convenience of working out literally any time you want and not having to wait for equipment to use it. It's really worth the extra $10. read more

I called in to see what time I could come in to create a membership and the front desk told me I could come in before 7pm to set that up with the trainer. I got off work and drove 30 mins in traffic just to see there was no one up front. No one at the front desk, answering phone calls or anything, I couldn't even get in without the fob key. I've had a membership for this gym for over a year now and yesterday was my first time ever working out at this location in Renton. While working out yesterday, one of the other members was taking photos of me behind me while I was working out on the hamstring curl machine! The attendant left after 7-8pm so there was nobody I could report this creep to. Overall, super shady gym, don't come here alone. read more

Joining Anytime Fitness was the best gym decision I've ever made. My home gym is in Seattle, but I love so much the ability to key into literally any AF gym no matter where I am. Every AF I've been to has been impeccably maintained with nice equipment. Gym-goers are also respectful and re-rack weights, wipe down equipment, and will split reps with no issue. Maybe it's the crowd that AF tends to attract. This specific location is a little smaller than other AF gyms in the Seattle area and thus has fewer weight machines. However, your cardio and lifting needs will be met with a good number of treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, and a Jacobs ladder, and a decently sized free weight area and deadlift platform. As usual, there is wi-fi. Lots of love for Anytime Fitness all around! read more

Out of the gyms I've been to, which include LA Fitness (Anaheim, Renton, Seattle); YMCA (Coal Creek, Puyallup); 24 Hour (Renton); Planet Fitness (Renton); I have to say, Anytime fitness on Rainier is the best. Of course, it is new, and thus, it must be nicer. The gym is pretty small, but has the essentials, 2 squat racks which can be fitted to bench presses, 2 leg presses, Dumbbells that go up to 100lbs, cable row, lat pull down, pull up/cable crossover station, and a couple of machines. Bathrooms are super nice and clean. This gym is a bit out of the way for me, but I'd say it's worth the 20 min drive. They also supply dip and squat belts which are a super nice addition. Overall, this place is well worth my 5 star rating. Being a 24hr gym, I'm absolutely coming here from now on. It's also not too packed so I never have to wait for something. I have been a member here since August 2016 when the gym first opened. I LOVE this gym! It is smaller compared to other gyms, but a way more welcoming community! It is rarely ever crowded & I am always able to get my workout in. The machines are all great, they have tons of weights, & they just got new equipment! They also have private gender neutral restrooms with a shower, so no awkward locker rooms, which I appreciate! read more

This location recently opened and I couldn't be happier with it. Of the dozen Anytime locations I have visited this is one of the best. All of the equipment is brand new and kept very clean. Let me first and foremost say that this gym is by far one of the best! Extremely clean, up to date equipment. And just a really nice intimate environment to either relax and do yoga or heavy lifting. This is way better than LA fitness. I like to be able to work out before my kids get up on the weekend and La fitness doesn't open until around 8 o'clock which is ridiculous. The vibe in the gym is relaxed and friendly. The gym is really clean. I can work out on holidays too. I've been here a few months and work out much more because of the convenience. read more

My husband and I joined this gym about three months ago and so far, it's been a great gym. It's smaller than places like LA Fitness and Planet Fitness, but I think that's one of the reasons why I like it. We really like the positive vibe inside and the choices of equipment. I also appreciate that it's open 24/7. Bathrooms are maintained and cleaned as often as possible and everything feels clean. My only complaint, which has nothing to do with the gym or employees, is that a lot of people that use the machines don't wipe off their sweat. It's really bad. I make sure to wipe down each machine that I use because I would want the same courtesy. But I've seen numerous people just using machine after machine and never wipe them down. I wish there was a way to enforce this but I cannot think of one. Aside from that, I love the gym! read more

Took a while to write a review but I have been really impressed with this gym. I moved from California two years ago where I also went to an Anytime Fitness. I was bummed out to find out that the closest AF at the time was in Capitol Hill. So I had to resort to LA Fitness which is always packed. This gym has been awesome! Everything is brand new, everyone cleans up after themselves, and Kent (the owner) does not mind the slamming of weights ( heavy dead lifts are almost impossible to put down gently). The ratio of Cardio and Strength equipment's I would say are half and half. Dumbbells range from 5-100 pounds, there are also two squat racks that can be transformed into a bench press. There are multiple equipment's that offer isolation type movements: lat pull downs, cable cross overs, etc etc... you get the point. What I love about this gym the most is the fact that there no more than 4-5 people while I am there. It almost feels as if I had my own gym. It doesn't have all of the B.S that L.A fitness or 24 hour fitness offers like the sauna, basketball court, and a swimming pool. If you love to go to the gym to lifts weights...then this is the gym for you. read more

My Wife and I were members at this gym for a little over 1 year. This was by far the best gym I have worked out at. The community and culture of the gym was great. During our time there we were working on getting fit for our wedding. The gym had very good equipment and the gym manager was very helpful and responsive when we needed help. The bathrooms were also very cleaned and maintained on a daily basis. If we did not move we would be members at this gym forever. read more
