    Out of order water station

This location is disgusting. I'm not sure if there is a plumbing issue but the women's bathroom smells terrible and is constantly dirty. The toilets in all bathrooms are rarely cleaned and yesterday there was poop on the floor that had definitely been there for a while bc it was dried to the floor. The manager is at this location most of the time which is why I am confused as to why it is so dirty. The floor in the free room is always so dirty. Every time I leave this location, the bottom of my shoes are sticky. There is a bin of items in the free room that should be put in an office as there are TWO offices. They use reusable towels here which are sometimes damp when put out-this is a health concern as bacteria is spread easily this way. The manager also walks around without shoes sometimes. I cannot say enough bad things about this location. It has been unpleasant for months working out here.

Update: No contact from Anytime Fitness or from their billing company called ABC Financial. I made a follow-up call to ABC yesterday. From what I was told, nothing had been done about my request. ABC Financial was still trying to get in touch with someone from Anytime. The phone number listed here for the gym is no longer in service. I went by in the evening before 7PM, (a time when there should be a manager there) no manager or employee was present. If you are the owner or manager of Anytime, please call me. This is beyond poor service.

Since I'm unable to show you the video footage I took screenshots of my encounter with the Manger Colby at the location 819 W Arapaho Rd Richardson, TX 75080United States. I came in today to give my key fob back to the location I signed up. I was told by Colby that my account was cancelled in June because I have not been making payments. I then told Colby that my account was transacted on December 29th and that couldn't be possible because they are still charging me nor have I called to cancel in June. At this point Colby then proceeds to tell me that "you must be getting charged from someone one else because your account has been cancelled." He then showed me the screen on his computer. I then showed him proof that I was charged by a time fitness. He then stated give me you name again.. at this point I'm a bit confused on what's going on and I gave him my name again. He then stated "oh you have an account at the cedar hill location and you have been transferred" I stated how can that be without my consent. He stated we don't need your consent since we're a franchise mind this location is at least 45mins to an hour away. I then told him I just want to make sure my account is cancelled I have already given Colby my Key fob. He then stated that "YOU ARE NOT ARE CUSTOMER HERE ANYMORE YOU NEED TO GO TO CEDAR HILL TO SORT THAT OUT." He was unwilling to provide me with a number for corporate when I asked for a number because his service was poor and he did not want to help me resolve my concerns at all! He then DEMANDS that I leave his office without corporates number because he is getting tired of me asking. I started to record him because he became irate and stood up coming towards me as I am sitting down in his office to forcefully remove me from his office. I then stated "DO NOT TOUCH ME"! I asked for his full name and a number to his corporate manger he refused by ignoring and coming closer to remove me from his office. I then told him again "DO NOT TOCH ME" I'm within my r right to ask for the corporate number. He stated you can find it on your bank statement. I advised it's not there. I then asked him why can't you just provide it to me. He then comes back in to the office and gives me the cedar hill location number instead. I stated that's not what I asked for I need corporates number do you have the number yes or no. He continues to ignore me and yell then proceeded to come back in to his office to forcefully remove me yet again & when I told him "DO NOT TOUCH ME" for the third time he decided to call the cops. At this point a customer came in and I proceeded to ask the customer a question for advice. I politely asked the customer is it okay If I ask you a question sir. He said yes. Colby then storms out of the office as he is on the phone with the 911 and YELLS GET AWAY FROM MY CUSTOMER. He then tells the Customer "DO NOT TALK TO HER"! The customer looked stunned by his irrational behavior and asked me "how can I help". I proceeded to tell him what happened and asked him if I am in the wrong to ask for corporates number if your giving terrible service..etc he stated no it's within your right. I then decided to take the cedar hill number and never come back to this establishment. The sticky note that Colby left for me to have was in his office on his desk near the chair I was sitting at and as I am attempting to go in the office. The door was completely open & While Colby is still on the phone with 911 he then proceeds to close shut half of my body through the door at this point I took a step back because it was clear that he didn't care if her hurt me or not, and then he closed my arm in the door as I'm trying to release myself. Then the innocent standby stated I should call the cops because he seen what he did. I called the police and by that time the police arrived from Colby's call. I then told them everything that happened & the police were able to get corporates number for me from Colby once they arrived. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had !! If you would like for me to post the video let me know and I will release it!

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Persistent Harassment and Discriminatory Behavior…read moreI am sharing this to warn the community and formally urge LA Fitness management to strictly enforce its Code of Conduct. I hope that by speaking out, others who have had similar encounters feel empowered to come forward and share their experiences as well. My recent experiences at the Plano South (W Pres GWB Hwy) location have been deeply disturbing, and it has become clear that I am not the only victim of a specific individual's aggressive misconduct. The Incident on 4/1/26: Between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM, I was subjected to verbal abuse by a long-term member (a tall, thin, older white woman). While I was using the public shower, she began timing me, yelling that I was a "liar" regarding my time in the stall, and cursed me out, calling me a "nasty woman." This is the second time she has targeted me; weeks prior, she interrupted my shower to interrogate me on how much longer I planned to be there. A Notorious Pattern of Targeted Bullying: After this incident, I spoke with other women in the locker room who immediately recognized this woman. Their stories reveal a systemic pattern of bullying: * Member 1 (Asian): Reported that this woman ordered her to vacate a shower stall. When she refused, the woman kicked her gym bag and left. This member now alters her workout schedule specifically to avoid being harassed. * Member 2 (Black): While she was applying lotion in a shower stall, this woman ordered her to leave and finish in the locker room so she could take that specific stall. Like Member 1, she has also postponed her workout times to avoid encountering this individual. * Member 3 (Asian): When she asked to share a swimming lane, this woman refused--even though she was the only person in her lane--and told the member to go swim in a reserved lane where two teenagers were in the middle of training. This individual's reputation for being difficult is well-known. A long-time male member previously told me that if she refused to cooperate or share a lane, I should just wait for his lane instead, as she is known for being notoriously unreasonable. Concerns of Discrimination: Because this woman's aggression has been consistently directed at Asian and Black members, many of us are left questioning her motives. The consensus among those she has targeted is that her behavior is either mentally unstable or racially motivated. It is unacceptable for any member to feel singled out or bullied based on their background. Conclusion: Because these incidents occur in the pool and shower areas, it is impossible for victims to provide video evidence. However, the consistency of these stories--at least five individuals have been harassed or bullied by this same woman--is evidence enough for management to take action. We are all paying members who deserve a workout environment free from verbal abuse and intimidation. Several of us are now considering not renewing our memberships because we no longer feel safe or welcome. LA Fitness, please prioritize the safety of your members over the membership of a known harasser.

I took their hot yoga class, which was both refreshing and energizing. The instructor was incredibly kind and hands-on with her guidance, making the class enjoyable for all levels. There's a small cafe on-site, which is perfect for grabbing something before or after a workout. They also have multiple pickleball courts, which adds a fun, social element to the experience. My favorite part was definitely the recovery area. They offer cryotherapy, infrared light therapy, compression, and massage chairs. I personally tried the compression therapy and was very satisfied with how it made me feel afterward. The other reason I joined was the location is just five minutes from my Dallas house. Max and Lewis talked me into giving Recovery a try for a couple months. I am very glad I took their advice. I am still regularly using Recovery. After one year I can make the following review: First, the Dallas facility is maintained better than any other fitness center I have ever gone to. It is always very clean, and the machines almost always are in excellent condition. The locker rooms and sauna are spotless. Second, the personal are very friendly. The personal trainers are experienced, educated and dedicated. Third, the staff working Recovery are very nice and competent. Ishani has pushed me to increase my Cryo time and use a colder setting. I am not crazy about the Cryo Chamber, but after I warm up, I feel fantastic. I really appreciate Ishani pushing me. Finally, Club Studio recently hired Janie to be the supervisor and in charge of Recovery. She worked at Club Studio in San Antonio and is very experienced. I recently injured my hamstring, and she worked with me on the settings of the Red Light Therapy. I double checked her advice with AI and both were very consistent. Most important is the Red Light Therapy has helped. Congratulations to Club Studio management on the hiring of Janie. GREAT HIRE. Charles F.

I've also noticed many other members lifting barefoot or taking their shoes off entirely without being approached or corrected. What makes this frustrating is that there are no visible signs or posted policies stating "no slides" or "no Crocs." The only posted rules I've seen are things like reracking weights and not removing shirts. Because of that, it feels unfair and inconsistent when certain members are singled out while others are not. Additionally, the interaction itself was unprofessional. I was told, "I'm going to get fired if you walk in," (white girl) by a front desk employee I had never seen before, after I had already driven all the way to the gym. The situation could have been handled much more respectfully and clearly. I also want to mention that I frequently feel pressured by trainers approaching me repeatedly about personal training, even after showing no interest. I've noticed this tends to happen more when I wear baggier clothing or don't fit the typical "gym aesthetic," which makes the environment feel uncomfortable rather than welcoming. I'm not trying to cause issues, but I would appreciate clearer policies and more consistent treatment from staff across the board.
