This place is poorly maintained and it's to the point of ridiculous. Bathrooms The accessible bathroom is out of order. Another has the tp dispenser hanging off the wall and the exhaust fan has visible dirt and dust and sounds like a freight train. Walls have weird chips, the tanning bed doesn't work, there is no hydro massage bed rather some random people squatting in that room. Homeless people, people. Several machines are out of order or equipment broken. Seriously WTAF is going on here? read more

Absolutely terrible experience with Anytime Fitness Rolling Meadows and manager Colin. I signed up for a membership, but later the SAME DAY realized they did not even have a pool, which was the entire reason I joined. I immediately called to cancel and was told over the phone that my membership was canceled. Weeks later, they still charged my account anyway. When I called back, they refused to refund me and acted like no cancellation ever happened. Either the staff is completely incompetent or they intentionally lied to keep charging me. This feels extremely dishonest and predatory. Charging customers after telling them their membership was canceled is unacceptable. Management clearly does not care about transparency or customer service once they have your payment information. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location and getting EVERYTHING in writing if you ever attempt to cancel anything with them. read more

Average neighborhood gym. Open 24/7 which is great. Usually very clean. Under-equipped compared to other AFit's in the surrounding area. Needs more strength machines to cover a full body workout. read more

I'm so happy I switched to this gym! This Anytime Fitness location is superb. It's bigger on the inside than it seems, it's super clean, the machines are nice, has ample parking, and there's just so much freedom and comfort here it's insane. Granted it is on the smaller side, but you have everything you need anyway. Included in your membership there's tanning, massages, a studio type room, classes, personal trainers, the whole works! Aamir, the manager, is probably the friendliest person I've ever met and is beyond encouraging. This Anytime Fitness truly makes you feel like you're at your home gym and Aamir is a huge reason why. It's open 24/7 and has hours that are unstaffed, meaning there's no employees on site. How you enter the gym at all times is with your fob - you scan it outside the door and then the door unlocks for you. I love that attribute! Overall I definitely recommend this gym, it'll feel like you're at home! read more

I'm Back!!! I had stopped going to this location for several months. Because I was frustrated with management and cleanliness of the facility. I was recently informed that management has changed. This place feels like new. I'm happy with the cleanliness and the new placement of the equipment. I had a great experience working out their trainer Barndon. He's very knowledgeable and encouraging. Josh is very welcoming as well. I'm happy I don't have to go out of my way anymore to avoid this location. Good job Barndon and Josh!!! read more

Been coming here out of convenience for two years. Place is falling apart and always dirty. Urinal was broken for months, broken mirrors, trim etc. they should invest in fixing and deep cleaning the place. Could be an easy 5 star review with some basic maintenance. Staff are friendly read more

I have been going to this gym for over 5 years now and I have to say the gym is the perfect smaller sized gym. I'm personally not the biggest fan of large commercial gyms that are flooded with people. Everything you need is here and the machines are very well kept. Everything is clean and the people at the gym are always extremely friendly. Aamir (the manager) is also just the greatest guy to get to see everyday and always asks how I'm doing. Only complaint is that he isn't there 24/7. Highly recommend!! read more

Aamir is always there with a huge smile encouraging people to do their best. Coach Lucas ... well let's just say i'm addicted! Yesterday I was on new machines i'd never used before and it can be very intimidating & it's tough especially if you are hard on yourself like i am. Lucas was there every step encouraging and pushing me to do the best I could. However everyday isn't going to be a perfect day. I left feeling like I failed because I had trouble doing it so I went home and did 2 miles on treadmill to burn some aggression. * But regardless of how mad I was at myself, at no point did I ever want to throw in the towel & call it quits ... I am ready to hit the gym again. Something about this place just makes you want to keep coming back. Must be the awesome atmosphere or knowing the support form Aamir, Lucas and even other members will always be there for me. What more can you ask for! read more

I just joined this gym in December so far I love it. Amir is awesome! Made me feel very welcomed. (Ask him to bust out a cartwheel) They offer a bunch of classes if that's your thing. The gym itself it what it is. I love being able to access it 24 hours a day. Has all the free weights and cardio machines you could ever need. So far, so great! read more

Love this gym!! It's like a private experience; never a crowd or wait for any equipment. There's no grunting, attention seeking "bros" disrupting the workout experience. I also appreciate that I can workout whenever it's convenient for me and often that means having the whole place to myself. I think management may have changed recently. I've been coming here for about a year now and up until recently I would not have given it five stars. As far as equipment and having all the necessities for a good workout, this place has it covered. Also, it's barely ever crowded and pretty welcoming. Previously I would have to say it lacked in upkeep and cleanliness. Things are improving. Much more clean in the restrooms and workout area. You actually see staff cleaning and being attentive as problems come up. It's good right now and I can imagine it will only get better! read more

Have been trying to get damaged equipment fixed for two years at this facility. New owners still neglect dangerous equipment. Please be careful and check machines as the owners don't inspect their own equipment. This can lead to massive injury or death. In shock that so little attention is paid even after bringing it up several times. Also empty soap in bathrooms so bring your own. Buyer beware! read more

I did receive a 7 day free pass, and it is nice because it is NOT crowded, but for less than 1/2 the monthly amount you can get all the same things at planet fitness(including hydromassage/tanning/wifi/etc) and use of other Planet Fitness locations. Planet Fitness is 23.99 per month and Anytime Fitness is approx 64.00 for the same. I feel like they need to be much more competitive in their pricing. Maybe that is why it is not too crowded. read more

Having problems paying up my membership. Waited for the manager for 15 minutes after sign signified she was there. Wanted my membership credited for the "appointment" COViD time which never had a reservation for the times I needed. Am very cognizant of businesses in trouble. Just want the three months that I couldn't get in to be placed on the end of my contract. I thought that was fair. Manager agreed but couldn't get into "app" or update it. I don't know what this app does but still have this unresolved. read more

I stopped by this facility yesterday around 345pm for the first time to check out the gym as I had signed up for the free 7 day guest pass online, I am new to the area and am trying out the local gyms before deciding on which to sign up for. When I got there both of the member & guest doors were locked, no one was in the management office, and I even called and no one answered to let me into the facility during "staffed" hours. After about a few minutes I decided to knock on the glass door in hopes that someone working would hear, and immediately a blonde woman stormed the door and rudely asked "can I help you". After telling her I had a guest pass and I was hoping to try out the gym she rolled her eyes at me, said "whatever" and walked away back into her training office (yes, she was the personal trainer at the facility) to put her feet up on her desk and play on her phone with another woman in her office. I didn't get a "welcome in" or "let me show you around", she flat out said WHATEVER and walked away leaving me to stand there in shock before proceeding to give myself a tour of the facility. I received utmost disrespect from her, and you would think that if someone is coming to tour your facility and potentially sign up as a member you would be a little more welcoming? Completely unacceptable treatment from an employee, take your money else where they will actually appreciate you as a member :) read more

This is one gym I enjoy. It is not crowded at the time I like to go. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Sam, one of the trainers, is fantastic! I have been working out with him and I am seeing progress being made. I highly recommend this gym. It costs a little more but to me, it is worth it since I don't have to "fight" the crowds for the equipment I want to use. read more

Working out at Anytime Fitness is a nice change from Xsport. Anytime fitness is clean, not busy, and has everything I need and more. Although Xsport has more machines, I've come to realize that most of them are redundant and can be completed with cables or free weights. This gym is not busy to the point that I feel like it's my own personal gym. It also has virtual workout classes in the studio room and a Hydromassage for members to use. The staff are really friendly and the owner, Gill, was not pushy when signing up. I'm more than happy with this gym and glad it's in my neighborhood! read more
